The first AP Poll top 10 should come out this week....Where do you think the District 14A teams will be ranked??....

 

I think Union City will be ranked #1(defending champions and haven't been beaten by a 1A team this season)....

Lake County will probably be #3 behind Temple....I think LC would be a solid choice for #2,but state-wide I imagine Temple will get the nod....

Humboldt will probably be around #6 with their losses to Middleton,Bradford and Union City in 1A .....

I have seen it and the message of the movie is great. Anyone who gets the chance should really go see it.

Westview wins District 14 over Dyersburg

These teams somehow find a way to play each other in state. However in the previous years it has been in the finals. Unfortunatly this year it is in the first round. The number one and number two team will be playing each other wednesday. Who will win?

i thought CAK played CPA in the first round

hey kenny thanks man, maybe i will see you this summer, i would have loved to stay and celebrate with the team, but one of the dyersburg kids was talking trash after the win so i told him to f' off and coach ran over and shoved me, so i shoved him and he told me to leave, and i am proud to leave pal, i was honored to play with you guys this year, great season man

westview wins but with a very close game that comes down to the wire. i just don't think the 'view wants their season to end here.

dont worry about it kenny, its not something any of us should get into... no body is going to do anything about it because gavin is done coaching travel for good now, and dyersburg keeps going about it, drop it, no one will take action... so everyone just forget about this whole coaching thing, nothing will change and it shouldn't, i know the rules and so does everyone else, fact is he will not be coaching travel again, so just talk about what the forum is made for.... as for me, i think:

 

madison 8-0 against crockette

usj 2-1 over westview

and dyersburg 2-2 with northside and dyersburg will win in either p.k's or extra time

madison will win over crockett

westview will win over usj but will be a tough game

d-burg will win over northside in a tough match up as well

Was the club team "Gavin" coached the Westview HS team?

no it was not. the team consisted of players throughout west tn

Fair question though, i would understand if your coach ( your real coach or the one yall cheat with) was mad and just told you to leave or something... I have that happen myself to...... fair question

there will not be a club team next season so Gavin is officially not a club coach, and a letter was sent to TSSAA stating that he was done with club so everything is legal. just want to set everything straight. i don't know why some think that westview cheats with their coaches

So after the game, the hosting team (martin) leaves so fast that there is no ceremony for all district or all tournament and they just handed our coach the trophy and walked off.... Now i know it was a hard fought game, but is should that be considered bad sportmanship and a bad host on martin's part??

now i don't know why there wasn't a ceremony and i was wondering that myself, but let's not accuse others of bad sportsmanship

this game could go either way but i think that westview will bring it home
