Wow you wana talk about crazy scores /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> . Were did u come up with that one? www.miricle.com i just dont see our D giving up 14 after how yall moved the ball last time. nor do i see us only scorring 7 with our offense because if our offense cant score our defense surly will /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />.
I don't have the best memory but it seems like most of Lewis County's touchdowns came off of a short field due to our special teams play. It's not like LC moved the ball at will on HC's defense the first time.

When they go to zone attendance they could be 3A for sure
Hickman has somewhere around 625 students this year. I don't think they're in danger of moving up anytime soon.

The Geico Caveman will be gone in a few years, he has destroyed many good players over the years for no reason, the team has never produced, too many stupid stunts over the years.......................... there is a guy from Belmont that will be coming to start a new program after he is done playing there............. that is a promise.
Boomer Herndon? He has already graduated.

I agree that the parents start to much of the junk!!!!!!!! Let the kids have fun an sit your butts in the stands and spectate!!!! Yep, thats what spectators do, if you didnt know!!!!! Hickman fans better take it all in bc the blowouts will soon end in the coming years!!! Thats a promise!!! Im sorry to hear that East is down to 23 players if that is even a real stat!!!! I know Coach Jones is a great guy for the job and I just hate to see kids giving up on him so early!!! Its a shame!!! Im pulling for East 100% and I wish them the best!!! I would hate to see Hickman run it up bc of a lack of classiness!!!! Keep that in mind Hickman Coaches and players... Im not downgrading you guys in any form or fashion bc I really think the haters are the outcasts from both communities with a few stray parents that wish they were still playing!!!!! Good luck East !!!!!!HEy Coach Jones, tell the boys they gotta earn NASTY Points this week!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
I just want to make sure that you understand that I'm not saying the roster size is a real stat. I'm just asking someone out of curiousity. I sure hope it isn't true. I would also like to say that I hope this is a clean and classy game as well. Go HC!

Rumor has it that East is down to 23 players, is this true?

Good post DAWGPOUND. You're exactly right about the large crowd. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow night, this football season has brought the entire community together and created an excitement not seen in our county in some time. It is great to see the stadium packed each Friday night and read positive articles about the team in the newspaper each week. Yeah, some HC and LC fans may be a bit cocky with their posts. But the great part is they have much pride in their school, team, and community. And from a Hickman Co. standpoint over the last several years, you couldn't always say that. Not that the support wasn't there, but it was mainly from those directly involved with the school or the team. Now with this experienced success, the whole community is on board. And it is great to be a part of such a rivalry with great tradition once again. Storied rivalries are great and beneficial for all parties involved. None existed in our old 4A region. Hopefully everyone cheers hard tomorrow night but keeps things in perspective. After all, we are talking about high school kids playing a game.
Great post! It's exciting getting to see the overwhelming excitement in Centerville these days. Over the past few years many people have only come to games to socialize and didn't even know who was playing. This year everyone is on the edge of their seats the entire game with anticipitation.

I didn't mean that home field wouldn't matter, I meant that HC's fan support would be strong there.
-
I don't know how important playing in Hohenwald will be when considering fan support because HC will probably end up with as many fans at this game as LC.
-
Aight guys, let's get back to the basics. Maplewood is a big and fast team. Hickman is smart, athletic, has the heart of a lion, and a great coaching staff. It'll be a great game, but someone will win and someone will lose. I just hope the Dawgs are on the winning side.
-
If you consider Clifton in Middle Tennessee, I'd have to say The Bear Trace at Ross Creek is the winner by far. Although Greystone is no walk in the park.
-
Once again congrats to the Dawgs on the entire season. They showed great heart in the last game at Hunters Lane and almost pulled out the W. Good luck to Matthew in Big Orange Country. Show 'em what the Hickman County boys are made of.

I can't agree more with dawgfan71. Unless you have seen Dotson play you don't know about his court vision or how well he thinks under pressure. He will be a great addition at UT.
-
Dotson had 20 in the first half, but didn't get many shots in the second half and had to rack up on assists. But yes, they are playing much better.
-
Will Dotson drop 35 or 40 on his last home game, in route to a Dawg win?
-
Yeah Dotson had an off night, because we are talking about the same gut that put up 37 points against Franklin. The second ranked team in the state I believe. Everybody in Hickman County knows what kind of player Matthew really is and he'll just have to show ya'll when he starts dominating at UT.
-
That's relevant.
-
All I have to say is that Voldawg put it very well when said they were doing just fine. The season hasn't started until tournament time. Conrats on the 37 Dotson!
-
First of all I'm not Mr. Leaver. But I would like everyone to understand that Dotson isn't a mid-major, because he's not going to play at one. Also I like to look at it like someone earlier did, even if things don't work out like they're supposed to (which I'm sure they will) he has an education from UT that he didn't have to pay a dime for. How many of us can say that?

I've got to agree with Voldawg and dawgfan71, a triple-double is a great accomplishment at any level. I mean how many of us can actually say that we had a triple-double? Besides, you don't get a coaching job in the SEC without knowing anything about how to recruit.

This is of no relevance to us right now! Besides, the word around here that Lloyd Carr is coming down there.
