  1. Okay, I see how it is with this low town....Can't wait until son gets riddled with injuries and how the "coaches" think they need to be out there no matter what...I can't wait I think I know who you are you low scumb bag! And is never recognized!!! How dare you!! I can't wait until you get the BALLS to tell me who you really are!

  2. this kid leaves everything on the field every time he plays. hope he is ok and will be able to return. if he doesnt it will be a hard blow, especially since he was having to go both way. keep us updated. dont care much for his dad though :thumb:

Hey Hard Head, thank you! I believe my son does the best he can. We are not sure what he has. We went to doctor today and they don't know. We are on our way to Jackson this week for an MRI, may be a hairline fracture with some torn Ligaments. He thinks he is going to play next week....poor guy....we need to get a picture of them, don't you think?

  3. You mean that by 12:08, (the time of your post) on the day after your son was carried off the field and sent to the er, the head coach has not called to check on him? If this is so, the coach needs a foot in his rear end, and since i'm related to this player in question, I may be the man who administers it!

The Coaches said they didn't know about my son. They were told, he only had a sprain. A lot of miscommunication.....The Defensive Line Coach came by my house today and was very concerned about my son, he is a good man. I don't know about the rest of the coaches. The communication was not there. If someone is reading this, I believe it would be a good idea if there would be someone from the team in attendance to the E.R. if a player needs to be transferred, then there will be no communication problems. Of course, someone that is not directly involved with team plays.

I'm glad Coach T is here, it has solved some issues for me and also explained some I had no idea about.

  4. I have been taken off the football field twice in an ambulance. With that said i dont think it is disrespectful for the players to be standing up. It should not matter how they are standing around as long as they are not making fun of him. When a player was hurt i would either get on a knee or stand up and stretch. Standing up does not show disrespect.

I hope your son is o.k.

thank you for your opinion, I hope you are okay. Thank you for the well wishes. It's good to hear from others, it helps me to understand and see from a different prospective.

  5. It was my/our son who was injured. You shouldn't have any problem figuring out who I am based on my login name. Family came to the ER, girlfriend came to the ER, moms and dads came by the ER. Players came by the house, many people called, and it took me an extra hour to get groceries tonight, having to stop and give an update on #56.

No coaches have come by or even called; and one of the coaches lives 2 houses down. Do you want to guess where I'll be in the morning?

My son gives 110% on every play and has given his heart-and-soul to this program for 4 years.

I could care less if the opposing team takes a knee, but a little concern for an injured player is one of the characteristics of a respectable coaching staff.

I've always told #56 that when the final whistle blows, they will forget about you. But I was wrong ... the coaching staff forgot about him mid-season.

I was just told by my son this morning. He and his girlfriend went by the coach's house (defensive coach) to get the keys from the field house, so he could pick up his clothes. My son cannot drive due to the injury he received. To be fair about the situation the coach Then ask about my son.

  6. I think it is very disrespectful when a player is down or carried off the field; both teams need to take a Knee! When you the parent of the player that is hurt ,your heart is already in your throat. I was very shocked when the team we played last night came in dressed in ties. I thought how classy. But when one of our players went down and the other players were talking and walking around, I knew then they didn't have the Class I thougth they did. They played a Good game, but I blame this on the coaches not the players. I know it's not a rule....just like wearing ties and dress pants into a game is not. I'm just very hurt by the actions of their coaches...shame on you coach, that was my son that was carried to the hospital. I wonder if it was one of their players if one of their coaches would have at least called and checked on the player in the ER...didn't happen here. Yes, I'm very upset with both teams! (coaches)

  7. the only incident i know of a noise maker being banned is during a marshall county game...but that is only because they were using a train whistle every time the teams lined down. actually it wasn't banned but MC was penalized 15 yds every time they used it

Train whistle???? LOL That had to sound loud!! Never head that one and I come from a school where we make noise...only on our homefield...never figured that one out....

  8. I hate to hear stories like this. It's very unprofressional and what coach lets that kind of stuff happen?? Sounds like the coach new exactly what his boys were doing. I'm a mom of a football player and I never want any child to get hurt. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family. I am so sorry and I hope they put that kid off the team and the head coach too!

  9. sounds like all ya'll need a little cheese to go with all the wine....it's football man and if i'm not mistaken i do believe ol' "big ced" as ya'll call him on the first series makin a "routine" tackle two yards down the field and gettin up and dancin his big happy self around and slappin his chest and pointin up...hey who knows i may be the only one who saw that....or maybe when dresden's qb got nailed 5 yards OUT of bounds...ya'll can take your pick really...football ain't nice...and talkin about the injury bug...dresden had just has many injury's as huntingdon....don't talk to anyone from dresden about people getting injured, because dresden has just as many as anyone around

Sorry Hard Head.....when I read the reply of this little fella it just made me mad....I responded to the wrong person....This one is for you!......when one of Dresden's "boys" grabbed one of our players between the legs! ....yeah..I know I'm just a Mom and its football....but isn't that a cheap shot? :thumb:

  10. Dresden fans, are any of you reading this. Do you have an excuse for your behavior last night or did you enjoy it. I just wish Huntingdon could have been at 100% last night instead of about 70% and we would have given your children the spanking they obviously need. Hats of the the kids, no the Men on Huntingdons team who are having to step up because of the unusual high amount of injuries. You are doing a fantastic job and we are proud of you. Keep it up as I know you will. Dresden could learn from your character. :thumb:

Guess that is when my son was grabbed between the legs....but hey! It's just football right?

  11. The MAN of the night, in my opinion, was Cody Crocker. He had a virus..... and was vomiting the whole night.....I could see the kid on the sidelines throwing his guts up. (about 12 times) He still went back out and got some hard hits. YOUR THE MAN CODY CROCKER!!!!! Way to Go QB MAN.......amazing!

  12. gcounty, that is all i want is the respect that region 5 deserves. all year, all i heard in west tennessee was how nobody will stop a region 7 team from going to the buro and beat alcoa. i knew all along that you guys didn't realize how good the private schools are. well huntingdon learned that last night. and please don't start complaining about how privates are more prone to winning than public schools, the only reason they are prone to winning more is because of great coaching and discipline taught in school and in the football program. these schools in region 5 have brought tradition to this region and every year it will be a region 7 and region 5 team playing to see who goes to the buro, which will be exciting.

I don't know if your a student or an adult but I hope your a student...adults do not act as such...I know you have a good football team...we do tooo....(Huntingdon)...let up and let off......Hope the playoffs go well for both teams...and I hope you decide to grow up....
