  1. No, that's not what I'm saying at all. If you'll go back and read my post, I didn't draw that conclusion at all.

What I said was that the Owl RB telegraphed (IMHO) whether he was part of the play or not based on how he went up to his set position. When he trotted up to his position fast out of the huddle, it tended to indicate that he was going to get the ball. If he went up to his position in a slower manner, in all but one instance that I noticed in the 3rd and 4th quarters, he wasn't involved. There was one time that he slowly went to his position and then received the football. In other words, he telegraphed whether he was getting the ball on the play.

How far from the huddle is his position its not like a linemans spot?

  2. Dont count your chickens before they hatch Oak Ridge could win two more games and mess up even more than it is now. The home team of the top five teams have always won. The Owls haven't played anybody away from the house. Oak Ridge is the only top five team in the region they play away from Chatt. Farragut played McMinn,WB and will play Oak Ridge at home. McMinn played only Oak Ridge at home and traveling to WB this week. WB traveled to the Owls and the ADS place where they struggled to finish. McMinn and OakRidge has and will have the hrdest road to the playoffs. The home teams in this Region have swept to this point. I wouldn't expect any change in the future of this playoff race.

  3. This region got a little more interesting after tonights action. 5 teams 4 playoff spots. McMinn has the easiest schedule of the 5 playoff contenders left. Huge game with the Govs in a couple of weeks. I would expect the Cherokees to handle Soddy, Heritage, and Bradley without much trouble. The Blount/McMinn winner should be in and the loser is probably out of the hunt.

cooter dont forget Oak they still have to play the Owls the Ads and WB not a easy game there.

  4. Maybe you guys can send us a few guys that know how to hit a hole. It's easy to run what you want when you have great players. Lay off the coaches. They do the best with what they have (remember, they must live in the WB zone to play here.) We don't have a WR from Montvale, a TE from Webb, or a QB from Halls. We have to play with what we get from feeder schools.

Is it just their skills players that come from different places?
