One thing to keep in mind this year is just how good Alcoa's "second team" is. You can't put them in and tell them not to play hard. It could lead to some ugjy scores this year, with charges of Alcoa running scores up. The old coaching ploy of keeping the ball on the ground won't help. Look for Alcoa pretty big over Loudon.

You are good. I use to teach at Alcoa and let me assure you Alcoa is WELL supplied with money. Money doesn't have a thing to do with it. As for Larry Hunt......I haven't saw him on the field at Maryville in years...with the exception of working the chains in playoff games. Seriously dude...enough with the crying. Embarrassed? Understand the full picture before you post in an ignorant fashion Mr. post # 1. In the city of Alcoa there exists a 13 block area that has an incredible gene pool. A few in the NFL and many many many that either did or could have been playing in the major college ranks. Enter that fact that approximately 40 % of their team is from the county and or Knox county and what you have is a talent pool that can compete with any team in the state....including Nashville, Memphis, and the Chattanooga areas. I am well aware of the gene pool in Alcoa. Doesn't change the math. Also, I see no empirical evidence of a positive correlation between the number of posts on this board and a lack of ignorance.
