Wildcat89. I was not overly impressed with this WC team. They were a little bit better than average at best. Rice made a bonehead mistake but there was still plenty of time to overcome that mistake. You bashed Peabody.. I won't bash WC. They were good but not on the same level with Dresden. You underestimated our district because of the Peabody drubbing by NC last year. That was one game... So maybe I should retract my statement about WC just being an average team. But I will say they were average tonight. I saw one impressive player. Number 7. Winn was so much better than Rice (Tonight) Hands down

Lol this will be the only post I make about the game. Wayne County didn't play their best game. If they did the outcome would have been different. Rice didn't play his best game but Winn was average at best. And for people saying the RB for Dresden should be nominated for Mr. Football that is a joke. He is a good player but isn't in the same league as the two other nominees. and for you horse, if I was 89 and saw you state that you were in the parking lot acting like you was about to do something, the outcome for that would have been different as well. Happy Thanksgiving!! One day away! It's coming

Yes, Wildcats are indeed a worthy opponent. They have much to be proud of. No doubt. But UH OH... after Friday however they too will be victimized by the Dresden juggernaut that's coming. Too many weapons on O, too much intensity on D that dominates. We'll adjust, plan for, & neutraluze & override WC's offensive weapons & then denude their defense, and our fans are an event all to themselves that can only be experienced. 12th man power is extreme. Wildcats will have their moments, they'll get to cheer about some nice plays, but in the end our Lions are gonna roar over our smaller cat opponent. Waynesboro folk gonna believe the hype about Dresden afterwards too. This truly >IS< the year of the Lions. Won't be long now. Don't be too upset though Wildcats, it's who we are.. it's what we do.. the Lions win, and we simply ARE that much better. Thinking Lions will score the most points ever put up on WC this year (in maybe 2 or more yrs), while Wayne Co will be held to lowest score in a long time. Will be somewhat shocking to others watching from a distance, but it's just Dresden Lions being the champs they are, typical & usual results. Again.. please take it like men. Life will go on, crow will be digested, & round ball may help Wildcats get over what's gonna happen. WC's best will fall short against our BEASTS! Then y'all will learn what everyone has: Uh oh.. It happened to you too. Season over. But 13-1 ain't a bad season either. So hold your head high Wildcats, y'all did good but the clearly better team & better Mr Football will win it for Lions Friday.

I hope WC can prove me wrong because there is nothing I want more than a ballgame that comes down to the final minutes but I just don't see that being the case here. IMHO, I think Dresden just fields too much talent on the field for WC to cover.

u are absolutely right. Wildcat is only judging Trenton by the flop we had last year at the NC game. If he wants to judge Dresden based on their loss to Trenton in the playoffs last year, he has a rude awakening coming..

I remember well 5 years ago when Adamsville didn't give us a chance either. That's ok....our boys feed off the doubters. I don't know much about Wayne County other than watching a few highlight videos but I do know our players & they are on a mission. We don't just have 2 stars on this team (like everyone on here keeps bringing up). They all contribute & don't really care who steals the show as long as we're winning.

So picking another team besides yours isn't giving you a chance? I haven't seen a score prediction on this site that favors Wayne County by more than 7 but have seen multiple Dresden posters pick Dresden by 3 tds which is absolutely absurd.

Wildcat89... I'm beginning to take issue with your infatuation with Trenton. Including this year and 3 playoff wins, Wayne County has won 7 playoff games in the last 4 years. You need to focus on who you're playing, not a team you clearly know nothing about. Congrats on having a fine team this year. Our apologies to you from Trenton on fielding a young team this year.
