Sequoyah has already beaten Meigs Co. this season. If they can beat McMinn Central and then beat Sweetwater down the road in Week 10 then they will be a state playoff team.

I am asking because i don't understand the new playoff system. Since Seq. is a 4a team does the third place team get the wild card?

Over officiating, Refs. are their to keep things from getting out of hand---not to control the outcome! In south east tn -- Refs. most are terrible!

Is this the same system as last year? Did TSSAA tweak the system ? What decides who gets the wild card game?

Good assessment dumdum, I still feel Seq and Central could go either way. Seq. always plays MCentral well. I do think your post is right on the money though.

MCentral has faced 3 teams with speed and 1 with speed and power. I see things slowing down for them Friday and they get the win. I see them by maybe 3 TD's.

Meigs hurt themselves over and over with penalties and still won.

I'd really like to say Meigs wins but i don't know. I've really been waiting for a leader to step up for this team. All i've heard is the same ole it's all the coaches fault again. I want this team to win they just really don't look they want to.

I think that Meigs has good coaches, the kids are a little behind learning and executing the details.maybe it will click this week.

Rhea seems a little better than last year, but i still say the bears by 10.

Both teams have had some rough weeks! Central scores on "pitiful" walker Valley, and all of a sudden they win by 3 tds (what a load of bull). These teams will go to war on Friday--may the best team be left standing.
