I agree with your statements.

The only high school team in NE. TN. that could stay with most Division 1 AAU teams would be SCIENCE HILL. They run in transition and move the ball with quickness when on the "o" side. They also seem to know how to make picks to open up their shooters. Several of these girls play some type of travel ball.

Also Coach Barnwell has a good supporter in Joe Ebarb. Joe runs a summer league year after year at the Hill which has helped the high school program. There is also a travel team that does some traveling. Coach Barnwell also shows his approval in my opinion when he can be found watching these girls as they participate in the program. He seems to get along with the AAU side.

Its hard to win with people you can't rely on to be at practice or games or those that quit.

Have not heard Coach Chandler was on the list for any head coaching job. He tried it once before and decided it wasn't what he wanted. Matt is a great coach and person. Do you think he would leave a great coaching and teaching position with good pay and the tradition of winning that TN High offers. I don't think he is seeing the grass as being greener in either of the two positions mentioned. Hey Matt Mom and KIDS at home don't need the head aches that come with the mentioned schools.

Did not see the game but DB must have play good defense on the shooters. Its good to see the tribe give the toppers a good smack.
