    I agree, this years Fayetteville wouldn't have beat last years Lake County  They did beat this years tho. Congratulations Fayetteville on beating  SP

    Pretty sure D-B is #1. I actually think they may be #1 in the country. They have won over 2,000 games. Seems like they and Centralia, Illinois are or were 1 & 2 in the country at one time. They may have even played each other a few years back when that was the case. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.

     

     

    It's obvious that I'm not smart enough to to know, so I'm guessing D-B is Dyers-burg, Dunn-Bradstreet, who is D-B please? :?:

    I don't know half of what some people are posting on here. Looks like you should start a new thread with this team moving up or living in the past. This the thread is for the

    gold and silver ball winners only.

     

    FCS has a great team and ARE the GOLD ball winners, public or private, who cares, they won today easy. Dresden had a terrible game today and they won the SILVER ball. No it isn't first place but none of the other teams in 2A got anything. I'm very proud of my best friends son and his leading this team to the finals. :thumb:

    Well its now time for basketball and then baseball. Way to go GHH!!!!!

    Congrats to FCS winning the championship and representing the district way to go Commanders. :thumb: Congrats to Dresden on a great season. :thumb:

    :thumb: We are still proud of Dresden and they are a much better team than you saw today. That D line of FCS had no problems today. The fake punt on 4th and forever at the 8 yd line, what was that boy thinking!? The coach did NOT call that one. He must have had the big game freezies, an excellent punter all year till today.

    Ya'll must have been hearing them a lot.:lol:

    It's been my experience that if you score enough, and the other team with the "artifical noise makers" doesn't score much.....they tend to end quickly.

    If they outside the stadium, I don't think the TSSAA can say anything.

    none of the noise makers that they are talking about were outside of the stadium tho.

    IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THINKIN THE SAME THING . WHAT WAS HE THINKIN? MOBLEY HAS CARRIED THEM ALL GAME LONG Y NOT GIVE YOUR BEST PLAYER THE BALL WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE, INSTEAD YOU THROW THE BALL WHEN YOU DONT HAVE A GOOD PASSING QB. POWELL HAD TO MANY PENALTIES THAT KILLED OTHERWISE THERES A DIFFERENT STATE CHAMPION. BUT HECK OF A GAME TO HENRY CO AND CONGRATS TO YOU GUYS

     

     

    I don't know much about Powell, only what I saw tonight, a very good team. It seems that a lot of coaches forget how they made to the big game and take the ball out of the hands of the one who got you there. Most of the time they regret doing it.

    it is just stupid that TSSAA would allow the siren, henry county fans need to have some class I am sure that even some of their fans think it is stupid, not sure where henry county is but I am sure they are part of that west tn fan base that thinks high school football stops in Nashville.

    Yes Henry County won because of the sirens. Powell could have turned them off by scoring more points. Way to go Henry County, on the Tennessee River near Kentucky Lake.

    Go read my previous posts, I've already said I think this will be a close game. The kids will be ready to fight for a gold ball and they know this will not be a cakewalk, some of your fans seem to think y'all will kill us though and I disagree. I just think this will be a low scoring game and I think y'all are overconfident in your offense.

    I just think everybody on here is just talking up stuff that they can't back up, lets just leave it to the players and the coaches. Good Luck to Dresden! Who cares about private/public?

    You should've been on here all week! Neither team really knows much about the other so all we can do is talk private verses public schools. Commanderman has gumption though, seems like he has been the only one from FCS on here daily. On a side note I've been reading some of the Henry County / Powell threads and it's also pretty amusing, they've had talk of spies and black helicopters flying around the school on practice days. No one really knows how the game will turn out tomorrow but it's been a He-- of a ride this year and I'm pretty sure both fan bases could'nt be anymore proud of their teams season.

     

    Lions will shock the football world tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully.

    Aright I got a few questions for the Dresden fans, do y'all have a primary playmaker on offense and if so I was wondering what number? I just wanna know who to watch for y'all on Saturday. And could anyone tell me heights and weights of your starters?

    Hopefully you will see who the playmakers are, and if you ask them they will tell you that it is the whole team working together, not just any one player.
