Brandon McCoy former Gville Tiger football standout was injured Sunday in a motorcycle accident. Don't know the full extent of his injuries but do know he's in the Trauma Unit at Vanderbilt awaiting dr's decision about possible surgery on his spine. Brandon has injuries to his arm or elbow as well. Please offer up prayers, good thoughts and good wishes for Brandon and his family. His mom, Christy is there with him and keeping those of us here at home informed as best she can.

I'm a proud alumnus of RBS, and I had the opportunity to return there for my first football game in 20+ years for our 30-year reunion a couple of weeks ago against Jackson County. I came away impressed with the football team, Coach Shoulders, and the facilities. That field looks like a fairway on a nice golf course. I think we grew corn on it in the off-season when I played there. RBS put themselves in position to win that game on several occasions. They looked and acted like a good team; I hope that they can surprise some of those taking them lightly. I heard Jackson County beat the bulldogs by 40+ last year; they should be counting their blessings that they got that win - by 1. Go Dogs!
When my high school traveled to RBS we had to BYOS Bring Your Own Seat! Congratulations on the stadium and the great looking field, now how about updating the baseball field? Great game against the Tigers, glad everyone was safe and injury free.

I believe in the BLUE and WHITE! I believe in what Gordonsville sports and fans stand for! Who'll win? Whoever is luckiest tonight. In this game LUCK is without a doubt a key factor. I'll be cheering for the Tigers tonight as always and tonight I'll cheer louder if possible in honor of Sarah Bullington Clark, the ULTIMATE GORDONSVILLE TIGER CHEERLEADER AND FAN! http://youtu.be/IApfil9YCf8?list=UUwyWlVG48aR2mkMoFMQEpEg We all loved and miss you Sarah ...... She looked good in Blue and White too!

Environment has a lot to do with your game, you can overwhelmed easily in place like the MC. I don't know what type gym NG was used to but as much as Gainesboro travels and experiences all sizes and types of gym they have learned to adapt well, Let's hope this continues!!!
Go Big Blue!
I'm for the Blue and White, it's historical, it's in my blood. I look real good in Blue and White

What i post, ain't always what i mean...checkout the big ones standings...i might know a little more than you think...
BTW...number 15 was the difference for the Tigers offense, without him this game gets real ugly...is this his first game this season?
It's his second game, he came in the game against JC last week, his first time on a field in a few years
I think Gp will have problems stopping Cason...even if they try...but Gville defense wasn't very good either....i call it even...and pulling for Gville.
Thanks, we need all the help we can get!
-
I think after last night's game the rest of the season could be very interesting .... we shall see
-
As for the game, I feel that Gville has the potential to make this closer than some think.
And, if we could get 6-7 turnovers like Dekalb did, we could upset them.
It's unlikely, but there's a chance.
we always have hope!!!

BluBellz is right. Don't call them South Carthage...it's disrespectful, especially to South Carthage. And 1 things for sure....TC ain't afraid to play G-ville....seeings how lil brother is the Homecoming game.
every family needs at least one member to brag about ... that's right !!!

Real Tiger fans are smart enough not to tell the fans of opponents which team members are injured, sick, playing, or not playing. You are helping TC with their game plan when you post things like that Croz and Bluebell. You better believe that Coach Creasy reads this message board. I realize you want to sound like you are in the know, but you are actually hurting our team . Our players ( that includes my son) and their coaches work too hard with the game plan for you two to screw things up with a few chosen words.
Your support is appreciated but remember that these are just kids and spouting off about them not being leaders or their lack of heart or effort is hurtful to them and their families.
I know who you both are and I know Croz when the time comes for your kids to be Tigers, you would be fit to be tied if someone posted some of the same stuff about your boys on here. Bluebell I think of you in the highest regards and it sickened me to read what you said. You have constantly been in the Tiger's corner.
Think about it.
BTW, before you jump on me, mine is not one of the players you have talked about on here. I just felt like I needed to speak my peace.
Whoa .. spank me and put me in the corner please!! When I posted earlier I knew of no other players sick or injured I was just throwing that out there waiting to see how fast SlimSnakey jumped on it. If you know who I am you'll know how many games or close to it I've been to this year or last year or even before that. Sorry if I hurt your feelings but I doubt Moose or Creasy would be deeply influenced by a post on this board, so you can't make me feel bad by your post ... sorry, won't happen. I've supported Gville, Moose, all the players and coaches for years, even when family members were less than happy with me for it. I'm like that, true BLUE and WHITE just with a warped sense of humor ... take my posts with a grain or three of salt ... please ...
I believe in the Blue and White
in Tiger Football ...
In Ron Marshall and the staff he has built ....
I look darn good in BLUE and WHITE!!

1. I didn't bash you.
2. I did think before I spoke.
3. My mama didn't teach me any better.
Does that answer all your questions?
CROZ ... once upon a time the cussingest little league player on the field lol but he's grown up well and we're all proud of him, he's a fine example of a young man and father
-
Drew Hamlet will be the backup, and he's inexperienced but he's better than the other options, and he's one of the best true athletes on the team.
BTW, if circumstances would've been a little different the past couple of years, he would've been the starter this year anyway.
is he eligible?
-
I think this Gville team has severely underperformed this year.
From what I can see, there's a lack of leadership, and I'll be honest, there's some players that I don't think should be on the field.
They hurt the team drastically being out there.
With that being the case we're not putting our best on the field.
The last I heard our QB is out, but the backup will play well and bring another dynamic to the position.
I'm just hoping they play up to their potential this week. I've not seen it all year.
Either way, it's going to be a tough row to hoe.
From what I've been told the backup qb is just too inexperienced to be comfortable in big games and there may be yet another person moved to that position, that being said you are so right about the lack of leadership and players that might be doing more harm than good.

going for the jugular...figured i'd get y'alls best this way...
how many kids y'all got on the pup list?....TC is 100% healthy and ready to roll.
more than one, no clue on an exact count but strep is raging too ..... I don't feel so well myself

They can talk all they want Slim, but they will follow the board rules. For a Gordonsville fan to say that to me after all the good things I've had to say about their program the last several years. I made a prediction. We will see how close I am.
and I for one Gordonsville fan appreciate your support and good wishes, everyone has opinions and if our players don't quit dropping like flies to injuries and illness it may even be worse than that so ..... but as always I'll stand beside the Tigers but in all honesty the worse thing you could call us is South Carthage so Slimsnakey hit too far in the painful area, even for this girl ...
-
Let them Gvillers talk all they want...we gonna shut'em up Fryday...when we start our next 20+ game winning streak against them ...
slimsnakey started it .... South Carthage ..... pffffft at least Gordonsville isn't afraid to play TC

More so Postman.
It's almost like he's the Westmoreland version of an Antwan/Termite.
so you're a mind reader as well .. lol ... git outta my head!!!
-
I'm betting his heart and his home is right here in Gville, he merely killed time in Westwood

What in the world has happened to those boys in BLUE??? I'll tell you what they've gotten as soft as cotton balls !!!! I heard they had an early practice today and they should have .... and tomorrow afternoon as well ... run run run ... Never in my life, until now,did the other team come to Gordonsville and expect to win!!! I'd beat lots of teams had hearts filled with dread ... HA! Now they all should ...because you don't know which team is gonna show up ... the hard hitting ... head butting boys that want to win .. or the wimps playing dress-up .... Get with it Moose!!
Kudo's to the defense they did better than I expected ... now on to next week ...
