One of the things the Cats have going for them is that the patriots don't know what all to prepare for.  I am sure they saw the sh game that was 98 percent run.  I look for this week for it to be more around 95 percent.  It is what we do with the other 5 that will make the difference.  Contain #15 I think was his # and don't get burned on the deep ball and this game could come down to the end.  Special teams as always will be key. GO CATS!!!

Nice time for a break from district play.  I see this team has struggled some this year as well.  School looks nice, stands on visitors side is small.  I hope too small, we need to fill them up.  These young men need all the support we can give them Friday night.  Not a bad drive, took about 2 hours.  Time for the CATS to turn it around.  GO CATS!!!

Scared? I came by and got 4 taters, I asked 4 people if they knew X5. They thought I was drunk!!..haha. Taters were good, yall keep your head up.  If you would have talked to the bball coach she would have told you I had left a tater for you

I know this is a big rivalry and anything can happen but I think Giles is really struggling in some key positions. Naturally I am picking my Tigers, but I still think this one will get out of hand, this is not the same Marshall team from last year, trust me. Good Luck to all my Bobcat friends, me and X5 are having a tater together this afternoon, that is for sure.

Better get to the cafeteria early if you want that tater. My shuttle will head to the field @530, taters from 4-7.  Got to go toss a few corn hole bags with the faithful.  Better get to the field early because this will be a Cowbell Game kinda crowd, large, loud and rowdy.  This will be the largest crowd there this season and the largest mc will play in front of all year. I wouldn't be surprised to see some Buckhorn staff in attendance.  Here's to an injury free night for both and I look forward to seeing my mc co-workers.  Don't be scared to come say hi.  GO CATS!!!

Laugh to keep from crying. Season has been disappointing so far to say the least, but ranting and raving on here will solve nothing. I also remember how the mc coaches acted after game one running across the field taunting our crowd like they won the state. Emotions will be at an all time high Friday night. Bobcats are well aware of what mc can bring to the table and mc is well aware of what we are capable of when we play up to our ability. Stay focused and play smart and we will be there in the end. GO CATS!!

Wasn't Osteen.  Coach Blair and the involved coaches straightened it out after the game.  All is well now.

I like keeping up with the district.  I'm sure you never posted anything away from your school.  Plenty of time on my hands this week anyway.

I will go with lc only because they were a 5a school last year and they beat us(GC).  But those are the only reasons.  I saw Page beat SH on tv and 15 will be hard for lc to stop. Good qb and kicker for page.  But  in reality Page wins this one, my first statement was wishful thinking.

Now does anyone have anything to say about the game?  We have seen the Osteen play book for years, only thing that changes is the players.  With that being said you still have to stop it..  We have to contain Howard and limit the rbs long runs.  Defense has to get some third down stops which has plagued us all year.  Get a stop and have a dumb penalty.  Score a td and get a dumb penalty, bring it back. Special teams will be BIG.  Have to play hard and smart or it will be a loooong night. GO CATS!!! 

Hey we are bringing a few people, we will probably fill up the visitors side, would it be ok if some of us sit on your side? If you have room, (nudge, nudge) .

Well max since you guys rarely fill up your own home side I doubt you will have any trouble finding a seat on the visitors side. But I do know there has been a big increase in booster participation at mc. I even here talk of a new stadium.  Potato's can be picked up at the high school cafeteria.  I will pay for yours but the other 4 are on their own.  Drive safe, GO CATS!!!

Comic relief must be helping you guys get over the Bobcats winning streak. If I recall we are 0-4 and we are going to get our butts handed to us on a silver platter this week.First, Smith is all washed up and our boys need a lot of motivation that their not getting. I don't know how many remember last year when we went to Marshall County, Smith sent the boys on the field after they got off the bus to disrespect Marshall' s field. Which was very uncalled for. I say Osteen want care to run the score up on the Bobcats. Do I need to mention also for a BOBCAT FAITHFUL to call and report Marshall on violation. I say we will never score and the stands keep get emptier and emptier. Hopefully we can come back next year.

Wow is this what every thread is going to be like all year?  So here is my 2 cents.  I know there is over 20 or so friends, family and  co-workers coming to the game tonight for only ONE reason, to show their support for a kid that they all know and love.  Most of them don't know who Walt  is, they are there for the kid.  When the game is over they will all huddle around him after the team prayer and take photos with him.  I am sure there are several more kids in the same boat.  Its this type of support these boys and coaches need win or lose.  I am sure the stands will be full of coaches that haven't been to a single practice or game this year, but will be more than ready to offer up an opinion.  Here is a thought, keep it to yourself til the ride home.  Get your phone out do a vine or instagram rant and let everyone see it then.  Ask the girl from LC how well her rant on youtube went over with summertown.  Bottom line the old proverb still stands true, If you can't say any thing nice don't say any thing at all.  Most of us just come to the game to support our kids or coach.  Just remember that is some ones child or grand child you are ranting about.  Never want to be on the bad side of a mother or grand-mother.  BTW I will break out my old faithful DADX5 hat if anyone wants to talk about the game before or after not during.  Come toss a few bags at the corn hole board and eat some good grub pre game.  GO CATS!!!

Yum, Yum the kool-aid is tasting real good in mc.  I should know I drank it for several years at GC.  Enjoy it while it last, it is good.  As far as the game goes maybe you guys can get Buckhorn to schedule a Thursday night game so that the old coaching staff will have another reunion at the Brickyard.  Naw surely that wouldn't happen again.  I doubt they will have access to our press box.  Probably just stand on the side line and spoon feed rufus.  Good Luck to all until then.

I think the expectation is to improve every week, sure we want to win but who doesn't.  Congrats to rhs they deserve it, but reality isn't far away.  If you have watched both games you know we are 5 tackles away from being 2-0.  But that is why you play 4 quarters.  Tighten this up and we are good.  GO CATS!!

Finally a home game.  Everyone come out and show support,  going to be a good one. Should be a large crowd with lots of energy.  BOBCATS come ready to pounce!  GO CATS!!

No worries this week the chauffeur/defensive guru will be back from suspension.  I still see mc having no trouble. 

Three keys plays stand out to me and I am sure there were more, but kickoff returned for TD, two long third down conversions for TDs by Shelbyville are what stand out to me.  Things seem to be coming around.  Clean up some mental issues and special teams play and things will be fine. GO CATS!!!

Giles had several guys not to return this year because of Smith and some played every since their freshman year. Giles fans are usually faithful fans. The Fayetteville City scrimmage the stands were packed, but I do know some long time faithfulls are so disgusted over Smith that they have jumped off. 

Let them jump!  I understand frustration but these kids deserve all that the past teams have gotten from the fans and BOOSTERS.  Regardless of who is running the show the young men (who the game is about) are giving all they got and deserve everything past teams have gotten.  Everything will sort itself out and if these guys play as a team they will be just fine.  GO CATS!!!!
