You cant have a logical discussion about any topic without a few from Waynesboro bashing it. News flash...we dont play you Friday. We play Lewis Co. So unless you have something constructive to say, leave it alone. Here u go....Waynesboro is the greatest team in the southeastern US, Rice is starter at any D1 school, Cats line could go against Bama and hold there own. This is their year. Unbelievable! I always pull for our district when we are done. Maybe yall can teach us some coacht etiquette like yall have during football...hypocrits. I'm proud of our boys. They did not lay down like boys. I recall Perry Co did not win every game 2 yrs ago when they made it to the final. Who cares about yall losers anyway. This is Cwoods turn. Your right he missed them cause Woodson was in his head blocking his shots and talking smack.. Montgomery got the steal on him at end but Woodson was the best player on the court last night or a tie with Pigg.. I am not hating was there just watching but your crazy to think woodsons presence didn't affect Montgomery.. And u saying it wouldn't have been close IF you hit threes.. Come on MTP rattled 3 or 4 out and missed a ton of free throws.. Your right that good teams find a way to win but sometimes good teams get lucky and I would bet Crews would say they lucky to win with the way the game went.. There were bad calls both ways.. They gave Pigg a foul when it was Montgomery.. Good luck to both!!!!

Montgomery scored 20+ at Mtp with the same defense. 15 played good defense but trust me he just had an off night to miss that many. Jealousy makes it hard for u to see things the way they really are. Lucky for us we have enough depth that we can still win when someone is not clicking

Definitely not one of Cwoods best games. Logan #11 had an off night but Wesley Pigg #22 brought it! Good teams find a way to win and we pulled it off! Good game MTP

Overrated? Who rated them? I don't think collinwood even knows how good (or bad) they are gonna be b/c they lost so many key players

Not wanting to continue an argument but 54 was still in the game when the last horn blew. Good luck to Loretto...much improved team that will give anyone a game. Still think this is Cwoods year but be patient cause Loretto's year is coming soon

Collinwood is a great well balanced team & did dominate Loretto in the 1st quarter, 23-6, outscoring Loretto by 6 the last 3 quarters(Loretto actually outscored Collinwood by 2 in the 2nd half). Loretto missed way too many easy shots(especially early) but never quit. Collinwood never eased up either. Trojans led by 25 at the half & by 33 at one point winning by 23 in the end. But Loretto is a very well balanced team inside & out & can play with anybody. Anything can happen & sometimes does. I never thought Riverside would beat them, yet they did. Richland blew a 15 point lead over them losing by 2 late. Not sure how Lawrence Co beat 'em by 24. Anywho, it's just a prediction. It would also help if when a defender is standing still for a couple of seconds gets run over, he wouldn't get called for a foul(more than once). And also nice if when a player is outside the 3 point line on defense he doesn't get called for his 3rd foul when the foul occurs under the goal by a different player. Also nice if travel violations(Skynyrd sang about it-Give me 3 steps Mister) & lane violations were called(pass it in, back out, dribble around, guy still in).

Would love to get a chance to play Loretto a fourth time in the championship. Dont think its gonna happen...but I like our chances if it happens considering we have won by about 20 every time we've played...at home, at Loretto, at a neutral site. We dominated that game. We played our whole bench with 4 min left. Blame the refs all you want cause refs are gonna be bad and yall got away with just as much crap.

I wasn't talking about Summertown. I was talking about cwoods weakness is defense. We score a lot of points but we usually allow other teams to score above their average which could be a factor come tourney time

they had a plan, it was to jack threes and hope they made enough to stay in the game...plan b was to rebound the misses and kick it back out for another try...defense is for sissies

Definitely cwoods worst game this year but I don't think that means we are on a downward spiral. 7 away games in a row..will b 10 before we get a home game. We just need to get back in school and a good home game and we'll be back in stride. Wboro pretty unfriendly gym at that. While your continued concern for our undefeated team is heartwarming PC....I think we are fine

I dont know if I would go as far as saying that Collinwood is a young team. Mostly Jrs & Srs is not really a young team considering the Jrs have played as much as they have.

Cwood starts 1 senior, 3 juniors, and a sophmore. 1 other senior gets limited playing time but should get alot more. People have forgotten that cwood lost 2 senior starters with injuries for the entire season....

Off night for Loretto. They are much better than they played tonight! Collinwood came ready to play. Trojans have good speed and executed well. For the most part C-wood won the battle of the trenches. Looked like they studied. Loretto did have one td that was called incomplete even though the ball never even got close to touching the ground. Sounded like the official blew whistle too soon not realizing the deflected ball was caught by a lineman. But that was too late anywho.

I would think you were serious about that last part if it weren't so ridiculously funny

Collinwood come to play avenging their last week loss? Or did Loretto's players sit outs this week really hurt them?

For Region reasons, I'm glad to see the Trojans win. But I was pretty sure Loretto was going to win this one. So I was wrong...... Loretto has been looking good up till now... Why did the wheels fall off?

I dont know who was out for Loretto but despite their flop against MTP, Cwood has a good team. They lost to a very good Adamsville team, so what.. I'm sorry but I was not real impressed with Loretto. Big deal...they beat CA, WC, Perry Co, Richland and Cville. Not a great resume IMO. The only positive yardage they got tonight was on huge penalties or turnovers on our part otherwise the boys in green pretty much held them in check....somebody tell me if they saw something different

You'd understand if you spent much time in Collinwood. They have a collective psychological disposition against all common sense and reasoning.

I am not trying to belittle what Mcewen has done this year but I do not think they r an even match with PC. Of course I have seen PC play at least 4 times and I have only seen McEwen once but PC seems by far the better team IMO. I think PC would win easily. I think Cwood should have won last night but McEwen with their experience and home floor did what they had to do to win.

McEwen is quicker than they appear to be. They play well together and seem to be on a mission.

Yes Montgomery is the post player that missed half the season. Didn't get to start playing til January. Vandychris loves to hate on him for some reason... maybe jealousy. IDK but he is just a sophomore that missed half a season. Give him a break. No he has not played near to his potential yet. Give him another year and a healthy season. Could be looking at total domination in the post position

Been watching this for 20+ years. There has always been and will always be disparity in the selection of all tourney teams. Move on. Cwood's youth really came out last night. Perry Co. is undeniably the best team in the region. As long as Cwood is in the fight they are my favorite to win it all. But if/when they get sent home I hope Perry co can bring it back to our district.

Now I hate to b harsh but Guru, Sportsfan, and chemtrail- dudes yall really should focus on getting a life outside of these sports. Maybe u should join the armed forces or something. Anything to get out and see the bigger picture.

Good win for Stown. CWood played as good as they could a still lost by 15+. If Cwood plays against WC and Stown like they did tonight they could be looking to be the 2nd best team in the District (Maybe Region).

Tonights game got played at Cwoods Home and they still got drilled.

I would not call that getting drilled. I thought cwood played closer to their potential but still lack defensive discipline at times.

One thing you can count on for sure, and that is a bunch of smartaleck and foul mouth Cwood basketball fans. If your team was as good as you thought it was, yall wouldn't have to run that jaw as much!
