  1. I havent read this whole thread so this question may have already been answered. Does anyone know why this is taking so long? Of the coaches that have applied, are none good enough to the administration? Are they going out looking for new canidates or still deciding on the current ones?

  2. Last year's Defensive Coordinator and Middle School Head Coach: Jeff Phillips to HC and remain DC.

WR / DB Coach Michael Reese to Offensive Coordinator, QB Coach, and DB's.

LB, OL, and Strength Coach, Nathan Daniel, to remain at these positions and to assume role of Head Assistant Coach.

Cory Fleming, a new assistant coach, will coach WR and to assume new HC of Middle School.

Tommy Pye, a new assistant also, will coach DL and running backs.

Would that be the same cory fleming of the vols/kats?

aside from fleming, where did the rest of these guys come from? other schools? ive never heard of any of them

  3. Don't know much about him but according to some on here he was part of the dark side. He's an old metro guy. Heard he got the boot at Antioch several years ago. Not sure how he landed at Ryan.

his son was ryan's QB. He left Antioch when his son was a freshman at Father Ryan so he could coach him.

  4. Hunters lane will continue to be one of the top teams..

#7 from overton is a very good back but id be really shocked if he ever sniffed D1. He has no speed..maybe 4.9 at best and even for a power back, that wont cut it at a D1 program. He should def go somewhere though. There QB was a senior so i think there playoff run will live or die with the play of the new QB.

i think hillsboro should bounce back and have a decent season

overall, metro football will continue to be poor which is a shame because there is alot of talent in davidson county.

  5. The new coach will have to find his own assistants..there are no capable assistants now!

There are only about 25-28 players. They have not had weight training since last summer.(a few have had weight training class). I don't recall any player leaving because of being worked too hard.

This bunch will do anything asked of them by their coach. Howell has been a good coach, but it has been hard to do it all by himself. On the bright side, there are alot of good athletes in the area and

Ezell can now offer scholarships. Good luck to the new coach.

Are any if the assistants staying? Are the ones there leaving or are they just not any good? Was the head coach the OC, DC and special team coach too?

    I had a feeling I wouldn't get an answer
