It will certainly be a close game as it usually is.

After watching Friday night I ant sure mc can beat clay or Jackson county on their schedule they looked like it was there first practice and the offense is way,way,way to predictable. Hope im wrong but no where near as good as I heard about.

after this game they get to go back to pick'n on public schools.

this is one of them games that helps ya get beat in the first round of playoffs.

The Greenbriar team I saw at Westmoreland last season was lack luster to say the least. I see a second to last place finish this season for the bobcats unless Sycamore is not as good as they were last season. I feel the top 3 teams in the region this year will be White House, Goodpasture, with the darkhorse Westmoreland riding into town. By the way, where did you find that purposed 2013 district. I'm wondering where Westmoreland might wind up.

heard there could be some boycotting going on next year with some public schools that have privates in their district.

if L.A.brings their jr.high and suites them up-they could very well score on macon.i've seen better defense on a checker board. L.A.by as much as they want too.i say L.A.-54 MACON-7

im hoping LA wins this one, it would set up a great week ten match up between La and Dc for home field in the playoffs

anything works.it don't have to be a qb sneak.if you can snap the ball-you got yards.worse d on a football field in many years.

i will agree that macon has a real,real tough schedule.But that's no reason to just lay down and that is what this bunch has done.back to same ole macon county.when your giving up 30 points a game on d your not gonna win.q.b.mCcoin and company put up 50 or more on macon terrible little d.

No matter how much WH's defense has fell off, it still cannot be as bad as Macon's.

macon has none!as long as you don't run into your own man or trip-you'll get big yardage every play.and they run the same d every single play.which makes it real easy for a half good off.cord.im glad they don't play r.b.s. cause they could'nt stop'em.they might out score them but in no way could they slow'em down.UH,might wanta change somrthing or somebody.

i got about as much chance as hitting the powerball and mega millions in the same week as macon does beating smith county 2 years in a roll. why?just what termite said best defense wins.i have seen a better d-fence on a foo's ball table.

If Macon county plays like their capable of for four quarters and tackles well we will win big. 38-20 macon

No one on Macon's regular season schedule will hold them to only two td's. They may get out-scored by someone (ref. Goodpasture) but it will take more than just 15 pts.

i agree. but where is the defence?you could put blow up socker-boppers and beat what they are doing now.at least somedody from the other team could trip over one those bopper'stoppers.

who cares? nobody cares but goodpasture fans,this team does not impress anybody when you play public schools in your district and get to recruit. You should win,who could'nt? Then when you get to playoffs they get lowered a classifaction "come-on" If they did'nt win id say there was a big big problem. It's the biggest joke in high school football right now.I know you did'nt make the rules,but you sure got all the gravy.

Ain't America great? You can voice your opinions whether you agree with them or not. I love CoachT for giving us the place to do things like this. I enjoy watching football at any level, but enjoy high school. And maybe stir the pot alittle too.

What about this. Our offense had the ball for 14 minutes. Well lets study about that , when your Defense is struggling the smart thing would be to do is try to keep them off of the field. I would seriously look into lining up and try to run the ball. The bobcats had a few small lineman and on there O line number 52 didn't weigh 150 soaking wet but he was a very good blocker. We have some very speedy backs and I believe it would open up the throw with some possitive running . I don't see that team beating us that bad with a different game plan . You know if its broke fix it. Very impressed with how hard the boys play GOOD LUCK AND KEEP WORKING HARD!!! And for the comment that was made about the Jr. High team. Trying to keep them together would be my goal I think there is like 35 of them. Have a full freshman schedule would be my plan. Unlike the seventh graders this year only having one seventh grade game, you know those boys ran all summer just like the starters and only had one game. You want to talk about building a program thats were it starts. And some of the eighth graders that don't start could've played too in the seventh grade game. You know in high school your freshman and sophomores need to be playing in jv or freshman games instead of waiting around until they are Jr or Seniors and then throw them into the fire. That my friend is how you build a program. One more thing for Coach G. RUN THE OFFENSE THAT SUITS YOUR TALENT . LOOK AT YOUR TEAM AND SAY WE NEED TO DO THIS. AND NOW THAT WE ARE O -6 WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO TRY

I can't figure out why everyone just seems to think right away that the Owls will get smacked in this one. Smith County is a very good football team and they are playing like it. The Westmoreland loss was the best thing to ever happen to the Owls because it got their full attention early in the season.

 

White House is the team that has fallen on tough times lately. They lost to Station Camp, Beech, & Goodpasture yes however in the preseason I can assure anyone that the Blue Devils would have been favored in all of those games. The Blue Devils better take care of business because even though they did beat Greenbrier they are still possibly a loss to Smith County + a loss to Sycamore away from missing the playoffs altogether. Their district is very top heavy and Greenbrier & Sycamore are playing very good football right now.

You don't have to worry about the blue devils, they will take care of business. Sorry owl fans but w.h.takes this one,but not as bad as one would think. Not only does w.h. take this one but wins out the rest of the remaining schedule easily.No CONTEST after the owls.

noboby will ever hear the end of the private-public debate untill the problem is fixed. Sorry but there is a problem. public schools do have a good case.TSSAA see's $ and I THINK they're trying to forget about all the mis-matches. It's not private schools fault, but you know their love'n it. NO way u can make it equal unless u put all privates together or let public's recruitt as well. sorry the multiplyer don't cut it.
