  1. To the people who have nailed in on the head when it pertains to money and small town politics coupled with the disarray of Cannon County Football, I am filled with sorrow to say that, this will end up with the final result of the discontinuation of football in our county. The job or more of less to say the sport is up for him to lose. As someone who shared the field with him who also know about his days as a college clipboard holder, I know that any dark days that Cannon County Football has ever seen will be considered sunlight in the dark compared to what is about to unfold. The kids will most certainly exercise mutiny and the end result, folks, and you mark my words especially with the success of basketball (girls in particular) will be the discontinuation of the sport in itself. I am plenty sure football enthusiasts in the county will be pleading, "Say it ain't so!" My main conclusion is their is a reason why he was called "peanut" and it definitely didn't have anything to do with his snacking habits.

Point # 4 – Is Joe’s still open? I don’t think people eat there anymore!!!!

Hey they have turned their ship around! Especially on Saturday mornings!!! There is an older lady who cooks but doesn't always work on Saturday, but if you can catch her in the Joe's kitchen, it is sooooo good. She makes the best fried chicken ever, well almost better than my Mother's and Grandmother's but you get the point I'm sure!

  3. $1,000's for private schools, a few $100 if the public school has an open enrollment policy. these are the only rules that really matter regarding the t$$aa. :roflolk:

My question is if said student has a parent that resides in the county they wish to play/attend, what all can stop them from being eligible to play? Especially if the two schools are in the same district, does that effect anything? The student in question hasn't participated in football for the school since early spring if that helps. Just trying to clarify a few things simply because I know a player trying to finish his HS career and I think a few grown men are trying to play blackball this young man.

  4. I will tell you this, the new DC at Dekalb has had the Warren Tape in his hands for over a month or two now.....He's one of the best at knowing what you're going to do and when...If WC puts up more than 17, ill be suprised...I know the DC at Dekalb will have his troops in order and ready to go, as he will be just as jacked up....Go tigers!

Where is the game going to be?

  5. I see on their web site it says they went 8-0 at Cookeville 7 on 7 competition. Does anyone have any information on this? I would just like to know how they are looking because this is the first year I'm not very familiar with alot of the players.

Your team picked up Don Berninger as Defensive Coordinator. nuff said. :)

  6. #7 is on the field because he is an athlete and has the potential to make plays. Yes he is a little nervous because this is really his first year playing and the nerves will leave with more experience and the physicality will develop.

Oh, well I though that's what summer 2-a-days, scrimmages, and practice are for. Guess I could be wrong.

  7. Cannon just isn't very physical this year. I am sure it is because of the loss at the Defensive Coordinator position. With him if you didnt hit and hit hard OFTEN, then your butt did not play. Also, #7 shouldnt be out there at all I know I said it once but after watching him 2 weeks in a row he sticks out like a sore thumb he is so scared. If you don't believe me, watch him for yourself.
