And the Boone fans say "Bite us"
We ain't scurred to play you 50 times as long as one of those we beat you. It's all good to us.
Just trying to be neighborly. Didn't say you were "scurred". Just sayin' your new guy comes on and his/her first post starts talking about this and that and it really did sound like last year.
Gonna be a good one. Go Rebels!

congrats to both teams on great seasons. i think this is one of the best matchups in the opening round. with that being said i think the BLAZERS will win this one. i was at death valley in week 3 when the rebels beat boone 41-16. this was the worst game boone played all season. the boone team that south will see friday nov5 is leaps and bounds ahead of the one they saw in week 3. the blazer o-line has a soild blocking scheme now that will lean and push the rebels backwards. we have saw it for the last 5 weeks, boone hitting people in the mouth on both sides of the ball. they are just as punishing on O as they are on D. this is really evident in the second half of those gamnes. south hasnt seen a team near the physicallity of these blazers this season. in the first meeting boone had nearly 7 turnovers, that wont happen this week. also no one on here has said anything about the HOME FIELD adv. TRUST ME gray will be a mad house friday night when south comes to town. THE BLAZER NATION could be a factor. For south it is very hard to beat a team 2 times in the same year, we saw this last year when the blazers beat TN HIGH 3 weeks after getting blown out by them. and probably the biggest reason is THE BLAZERS WANT THE REBELS.i know players and couches, and both wanted the rebels. these kids are driven and hungry and want those rebels. i talked to a couple players who said they didnt care if they had to play at death valley, they wanted the rebels. SO to break it down. This isnt the same boone team south saw in week 3. blazers are way to physical. they arent going to turn the ball over 7 times. The game is in gray, so the blazer nation will be alive. hard to beat a calliber team twice in a season, and last and probably the most influential THE BLAZERS WANTED THE REBELS. this is all my opinion feel free to critize and input your opinion. GO000000 MIGHTY BLAZERS GO GO GO
This is almost a carbon copy of every Boone post from last year's playoff game. If you all need some extra Boone Pride or Boone has Pride signs let us know. There were a lot of them left laying in the stands after the game last year.
South 34 Boone 21 last year's playoff game

You don't care but you took the time to see the thread, read the thread, and post on the thread. I might have to get you a longer chain and let you play in the neighbors yard for awhile.

TN High is not the better team right now but they will win this week.
South, Central and DB will win the others.

In the announcers defense, the referee did signal 1st down...
congrats to south on a good game. as it was clearly visible last night, science hill still has a ways to go yet...
No, the chain gang had not moved the chains and Science Hill had already ran a play. That was the way we saw it anyway.
-
I will be highly disappointed if Science Hill goes 8-2
They won't.
-
One of us is missing something about this game, because I see
South 28 SH 21
Good call Booneman. Tossandweep, not so good.
-
1) Dobyns Bennett
2) Greenville
3) South
4) Daniel Boone
5) Theres only 4
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I agree. I was thinking there is really no good choice for the No. 5 spot as I read the first few posts and then saw your post. I've seen Elizabethton and I don't think they're even as good as they were last year. I've seen these four teams and I believe they are the top four teams and this order is correct. I have not seen Science Hill but their drop off the last few weeks makes them suspect.

You want to talk about Schools.Lets compare i received a BSW in Social Work in 1991 from NC State,And a Master's with Honors in Social Work from East Carolina in 1994,Then went to UT and received a B.A. in Chemistry and Secondary Education in 1998.Played Football at ROCKY MOUNT SENIOR HIGH and NC STATE,Got married to my wife.Whos from KINGSPORT and went to D-B.I can prove it,Who else can??I just love messing with you HILLBILLIES.I've had three of you wanting to FIGHT THATS FUNNY.But anyway if anybody wants proof let me know. But as for the TRASH TALKING ,LETS GET IT ON!!!!If i make some of you MAD,WELL get over it.
Wow. You represent your schools so well. Too bad they never educated you. And, I'm sure your wife "whos" from KINGSPORT and went to DB just loves when you call her HILLBILLY. Go Gryphons! Woo Hoo!

Now, does that seem to be a conspiracy? Atleast with that ref it does. This is what i mean.
A one person conspiracy. Now that's funny! Classic!

Yeah, I'll give South their props. They came in ready to play and stayed toe to toe with DB for much of the game. There were many factors as to why the score ended up 21-7. DB-POSER-FAN says the ref's didn't have any thing to do with it because he's a poser-fan. These refs had it out for DB their ain't no dought and I don't care what anybody else says. Im right and any body that says different is wrong. I bet the TSSAA gets involved in this one. But the refs didn't really make the game close. What made the game close was that DB left 4 touchdown laying on the field. Steele was running toward the goal line for six and drops the ball and south recovers, Seabolt overthrows a wide open receiver in the endzone.....TWICE! and a touchdown run by Sensabaugh is called back because of what the ref said was holding. Our secondary was out to lunch. South had receivers wide open almost every pass play. The only way we could stop their passing was to put pressure on the Quarterback. Back to the refs. A ref actually picked up the football and moved it two feet forward before a measurment giving South a first down. RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY. In the forth quarter South was geting by with holding so much that their entire line started doing it. Back to our secondary. We actually had South 2nd & 55......YES it was really 2nd and 55, every here of that? And South's quarterback threw for a first down from his own endzone. And yes the receiver was WIDE OPEN. Back to the refs. Was G.Roberts one of the refs. tonight? Some of you know the story. Oh well alls well that ends well. 21-7 ain't bad considering. Our team weathered it pretty well.
Chris Sensabaugh layed two of the hardest hits I have ever seen in High School football tonight. I could actually feel the concussion of the first one from where I was sitting.
Would you all like a copy of the game film? There were actually several more personal fouls that should have been called on DB but weren't. I couldn't see much from my not so wonderful seat in the visitors stands, so I waited to watch the film before commenting. You should watch the film. I hope you all go far in the playoffs. Your future opponents will use this film obviously, so don't focus too much on the referees. There is much more wrong with what was happening that needs to be fixed before the playoffs.
-
You know what makes me laugh, knowing in a couple of years after TSSAA re-classifys your big game will be South Green down in 3A.
Yeah. I didn't figure the beat down you got in the playoffs would make you laugh. Boone's got Pride!

-
No, they did not lay it on them Boone laid it on themselves. 6 to's will get you beat everytime. I think Boone is a better team than South and I just hope somehow and someway we get to see each other in the playoffs.
Heard that last year. I watch the South/Boone playoff game from last year every once in a while when I need a laugh. That was a fun game.

Not really, TH is overrated and Greeneville exposed it. They are a year away. It should look like this:
1 DB
2 Greene
3 Boone
4 TH
5 SH
You've eaten one too many fleas from your facial hair.

The median income for a family was $53,651 from Colonial Heights. The median income for a family was $40,183 from Kingsport. However the city schools are rated much higher and offer much more. Teachers are paid a nice chunk more as well in the city. The poor county school way of thinking is false as DB has many more poor students and still out does South. As far as transfers go, it is about even, but if I grew up in a county system with all my buds, I would not leave either.
"still out does South" at what? You list a bunch of stats but don't really finish your point. I'll reserve comment until your clarification.
