I really don't know the history Cleveland / Rhea. But the 2 times we played Cleveland I found the team coaches and fans to be class even when they beat us. The same goes for Rhea, clean bunch saw a late hit and the Rhea guy knew it, and helped the guy up, pretty classy bunch. Really can't 't say the same for Bradley never seen team run that mouth while getting there teeth kicked in!

East Ham did not run their mouth much when they got ran off their own field by Bradley the first time they played.  42 - 0 I think was the score but that is history.

You had better not come on a message board accusing a coach of throwing punches without any type of proof. Which we all know you don't have. So some of the kids got irritated and had a little fight, that's ok it happens. However, accusing coaches is reckless so keep it off here.

 

Also, to everyone telling RC fans to "calm down Bradley isn't very good" what does it matter to you? We have a good ball team, we had a good spring, the boys have obviously improved. That equals to fan excitement. No one said we're a bunch of world beaters. We're excited because this team is going to good this year and I don't think anyone can deny that.

the fight was not a problem at all but accusing one team  for the scuff is absurd talk to your coach's there were two teams participating. Any time a coach puts his hands on the other teams players is not good and that happened I was there and saw it myself. Rhea has a tough team and that is what Achilles stated. As far as Cleve/Rhea games go anybody that is from here accept for Chattacane of course knows all about the love affair between those two.

Not sure what you get out of calling a 16 year old kid overated on the internet?? But it does speak to your lack of character... If a kid can start at Varsity Football as a Freshman and help his team win 14 ballgames in 2 years at a school that has not had a winning season in 5 years then he is doing ok. The only hype he has received is by the other coach's in his region voting him QB of the year. The Rhea Co. QB got offensive player of year. If you met him you would like him he is a very humble kid. Come by practice sometime and i will introduce you to him. But please do not put him down on this public forum he does not deserve your attack. Thank you for seeing your error of poor judgement. Oak Ridge fans: Do not misuderstand any Bradley fans here we lost the game and wish you luck against RIVERDALE. This is about a McMinn guy not giving credit to a Bradley team and program that has taken great strides in the last 3 years. Blitzbuk said you guys sucked and were re building not any Bradley fan. We respect your program, however we do feel we could have easily been the team that won. We are classy enough to admit that you have a good team. Thanks, for recognizing that our young men left it on the field last Friday night. Also, we have a very young team as well as yours. Hopefully, we can play Oak Ridge again next year and see how the young players on both ( Bradley and OR have progressed. One more thing, I said we know who Hardin Valley is, not that they sucked, once again that was Blitzbuc. Direct the jackass remarks to BLITZBUC he is the one that likes to put down other teams on COACHT and then say he has friends at BRADLEY... When you make statements that Bradley was "strong", it does make me chuckle with your delusion. You ask what I bring, then ask yourself first what you bring other than making outlandish statements.

 

FACTS:

1. The teams that Bradley beat had a combined 38-49 record.

2. The teams that Bradley lost to had a combined 21-12 record.

3. Bradley wasn't even the best team in the County, and just barely the second best team.

4. The first team Bradley played in the playoffs had 8 losses on the season.

5. Bradley only got into the playoffs because the District was the weakest it has been in a decade.

6. Bradley lost to a rebuilding Oak Ridge team that had 4 losses on the season, including a loss to Hardin Valley (ever heard of them?).

 

You have it wrong when you (or others) think I hate Bradley. I've never said that, as I have friends coaching and teaching there. But I will state the facts as I just did and have for all fans of this District who post ridiculous comments as you and others have. You need to quit reading your hometown Daily Banner and formulating your opinion on what they say.

1st of all I know you have no friends at Bradley. I wish you would expose who you are so we could get aquainted... But I think I got it if we win its because everyone is bad but if you win its a quality victory.. Everybody's young that we play and we were lucky if we got our equipment on correctly. LOL Next year your babies will have grown up and all of our quality players will be gone, so no excuses... RIGHT Can't wait to see you next season. You might want to check the records from last years playoffs before spouting off there, genius. McMinn BEAT a solid state-ranked Oak Ridge team last year in the playoffs. Yes, the same Oak Ridge team (minus all of last season's studs) who came to your field with a bunch of youngins and BEAT the Bears this year.

Year before last, McMinn went on the road and beat the #1 ranked team in the state in the first round of the playoffs.

 

Bradley's players didn't outwork anyone in the offseason. They were the recipient of a very weak district, thus backing into the playoffs.....just like I said.

 

But hey......you folks can boast about beating a 5-5 Coffee County team in round 1, then patting each other on the back over your stats against Oak Ridge.

Let's talk about the Mcminn game this year 28 - 0 this year in the 2nd qtr on your field on the way to a 35 -7 game, your senior loaded Mcminn team beat our young team the year before by 1 score. Sophomore receiver, junior receiver, Sophomore QB , junior RB not a senior in the secondary and 4 lineman that are underclassmen... Get you some BLITZ Beat DOWN at your field and it was personal just for u...

As I recall blitzinbuc, your precious McMinn and Ooltewah squads that graduated sooo many seniors, both lost in the first round last season. Ooltewah was ranked #1 in the state before McMinn, the better team beat the birds for the district championship. Yes Bradley lost to both of those teams last season. A real whipping at Ooltewah and a close, hard fought loss to McMinn that was definitely the class of district 5AAA.

 

Looks to me as if Bradley worked harder over the summer and focused on beating the teams they needed to whip to TAKE their rightful spot as winners this season. Try to stay positive blitzinbuc. Give credit to those players that didn't take the summer off and worked harder in the weight room. Ask the players that played for McMinn and Ooltewah about their respective games against the Bears. They will tell you, they didn't ALLOW Bradley to kick their respective a##e# this season!

 

You are correct blitzinbuc, Bradley lost a game. You do have an ability to read a score in the paper. You are quite frankly, a mathematical genius and I am just guessing here but you may have never played the game or actually committed to something worth doing. Well maybe with the exception of being a completely negative genius.

We never talked about Ooltewah when they were loaded with talent accept maybe to say that you could be a little more humble. (you and fish dad that is and hairy owl)... Anyway, I never got on here to brag about our season just to defend some young men and their coach's for a great season. Moral victory my a^&**.. We were 5 points away from being 11 - 1 . Here is the good news for Bradley fan's we were extremely young in several positions and are going to work just as hard this off season as we did last year blitz feel free to come watch our game with your team. Ask your team how they felt when we took the game over when we played you,(we were never given anything this year) they will tell you that Bradley plays hard and are well coached. As far as the OR game we lost but dominated the game because of our youth and a assisting the runner call (ridiculous) we came up short. However, we never were just playing to keep close. 16 - 7 at half and because a weaker kicking game ( kickoffs) OR started on 50 4 out of 5 of their last possesions. Oh Blitz last year we were 5-5 and played with every team accept 30 senior team from Ooltewah. Why do u hate Bradley so much? Very negative person, do you have a wife or did she leave u? Couldn't blame her... Trust me Blitz Bradley is not going to stop working no matter how much an old man like u runs us down.

Alt, it is truly amazing to know that "so called" Bradley fans cannot wait until we lose so they can point fingers and blast coach's. I mean really 9-3 record and we have coach's that do not coach to Win??? This season the fondation was layed for some very good years at Bradley High and he or she can't stand it. Imagine all the bitterness in this jerk s life. BE REAL with your son they will always make excuses about not finishing school or not getting that job. Seriously, this is the best thing for your son... The truth will set him free and you can go on with your life and do something positive like the Bradley coach's are doing in the life's of the young men they coach. I know posting this will not change the way they conduct business (sports) at Bradley and I really don't care if they change or not but there are still many people That have no Idea how things work there and should think twice about letting their kid play for them or should I say set on the bench and watch someone else play who cant play as well as them

Dude or Mrs. I have to know who your kid is.... I kow its not Chandler, so who is it. One thing is for certain this coaching staff wanted to win for those kids more than anything if your son could have helped this team on the field they would have played. Probably 50 of the 70 kids on team just went to Church together and then went and ate a meal. They have nothing but respect and admiration for their coach's. Nobody played Friday night that had not earned the playing time... Did you here the awards that were voted by the other District coach's, keep in mind Coach Floyd just nominate's the kid the other coach's in the district have to vote on them. We had like 5 awards... DO YOU REALIZE THAT MEANS THE OTHER COACH'S THAT ONLY COACHED AGAINST BRADLEY thought the young men deserved not only to start but were the best at their respective position's. So, who was the all american player that our coach's overlooked????? lol lol. We have no fathers that coach either although they stand in as father's for some young men in tough situations. You need to talk with some of the Bradly players to find out what they think of the men that you attack on this website... Did you know that 13 young men gave their life to JESUS during the season this year??? Heck your son might have been one of them. BE REAL WITH YOUR KID IF HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO START ITS OK ITS A GAME> But don't ever accuse Bradley Football coach's of playing kids with lesser talent while Tony Dorsett or Dick Butkis is setting on sielines. No coach touched Oak Ridge players... And Bradley did not stomp on Cleveland's C they stayed on field and hugged their dad's and mom's neck.

The outcome of the game was about what I expected. And even though Oak Ridge doesn't have one of their typical strong teams of the past, I knew they'd beat Bradley on their home field. Bradley only made the playoffs due to playing in an unusually very weak District this year, and were very fortunate to play a very weak Coffee County team in Round 1.

Our team worked hard thruout the season and played hard every week. It is always hard to win especially when the team has not done that consistently in a while. Cleveland tried to WIN the game (of course they did) Soddy came out and played hard and WON thats it. Geez if you get beat you lose. I heard some Cleveland kids say the same thing the other night. They had all this talent and their freshman were unreal. I spoke with a dad from Mcallie this summer after they beat your 3-7 Ooltewah team like a stepchild. But you insisted on post, over and over that you had the best dual threat QB in area... Did that 0 pass yards hit home with you. When it was 28 nothing in the 4th qtr did you throw your popcorn down and say it was the refs or blame coach's. I know you have no class or you would not continually slam other teams and their athlete's. Everyone knows you never played football by the ridiculous comments you post. I know its hard for you to accept but we have and will continue to work hard and be prepared to play every week, I suggest you urge your team to do the same. 2 different programs: Polk - Plays hard, hits hard, and is humble. (Good football team) South Pitt: Plays hard, hits hard, very arrogant. (Good football team) If South Pitt didn't run their mouth so much on field and in stands they would be respected much like the boys in red. However, their just respected for being good. I guess they kinda have that 80's and 90's Hurricae thang goin.. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to run that trap tonight??

Does everyone know that Cleveland Basketball team just got a transfer from Notre Dame who is a 10th grader played with the Tenn Travelers this past summer. D J Bowles he started last year for Notre Dame High School, Cleveland needed a point guard so they got Notre Dame's. I am sure its all legal.... Anyway, last year their football team lost tailback and receiver so they went and got those two replaced them with Chattanooga "Soddy" kids that were seniors. Picked up Meigs kid that was a senior as well. My question is since everyone knows this does any of the kids who do not get to realize their dream to play the position's these kids take when they are brought in do they care? Seems like kids that grow up in that program would be upset that they are passed up by other athlete's that are not from Cleveland?
