  1. too funny of a topic, and yeah IHS would be lucky to get 6...

anyways no knock on the INDY players, all on dyson!

palan you finally agree with me that its all on dyson. the coach they fired beat the pathetic coach they hired haha typical

  2. first , what a great ALUM of IHS and EAGLE football team you are , man up and state your name if your gonna call out kids and talk about a kid sitting on the sidelines , so come on tell us your name or ya afraid to tell us cause you sit on the sidelines as well - heckman couldnt see over the line he turned out to be very good...

agree with you on dyson ......

EUBANKS A GREAT COACH are you for real , becuase he is a joke of a coach and even worse play caller ( as evident with CHS getting shut out by Ravenwood )

FIRST off EUBANKS inherited a team that COACH SMITH mentored from freshman, that was coach smiths team - a year after state, they were a joke , in fact a member of rectors coaching staff told me that INDY was the easiest team to defend ......

as for the game as stated its a win no matter how you slice it - lets talk about OAKLAND

I dont have to state my name yet. The time is coming soon though. Heckman didnt have to see over the line because he was a running QB. Thompson is not. He does have a better arm than Heckman but lacks strength and experience which will come with time. I really only stand for Eubanks in the fact he's a friend of mine and im tired of people talking sh*t about him. Thats the past, he got shafted as a coach and as you said had nothing to work with at all. The way i look at it is if your Cambell in this situation you dont hire a new head coach UNLESS your sure they will do better than the previous coach did. That being said with the lack of talent they had what was the problem with giving Eubanks another season. He didnt quit he got fired because his team wasnt successful. Dont get me wrong success does have to do with the coaching, but you do need talent too

  3. since ya ripped thompson let the records show adam thompson in his first varsity start 11 - 19 - 188 1-0 not bad at all my friend not bad at all

the running game is in trouble 58 yards total- , when the play a defense like OAKLAND it will be much worse!!!

on defense they gave up 200 yds and 4.9 a carry got stop or else

your right numbers are not bad at all. But once again the test will come against oakland. Siegel is nowhere near a comparison to the future opponents we will see. Id have to say indys only given wins for the rest of the year come down to Centennial and Hillsboro

  4. Kevin Dyson, Red Roberts, and Indy's D coordinator from the '08 5A runner-up (Coach Bobby..., his last name escapes me) & you are questioning the staff??? Add in the other assistants & I would put IHS's staff up against every TN team. The talent may not be there as it was in the past years, but they get the boys to play hard & aggressive. If they can stay in the games on the defensive side they may (and as seen tonight) will find ways to beat better athletes. Great job IHS foootball staff & players.

Ha, its not the d my friend. Offense is pathetic Nothing to work with but maybe bryce. Theres a lot better staff than dyson. What you dont know is dyson was probably one of the lowest prospects of coaches available. There were 3 time state champ coaches applying for jobs that were quickly denied by ignorant cambell.

  5. This is a great post!!! You REALLY know your high school football keep up all year with the terrific and accurate posts you make. Looks like your prediction was a little off. And all the haters on indy what you got to say now? nothing exactly. Independence has great coaching and it showed tonight too. Kevin Dyson is the MAN.

I used to go to indy so i know more im sure than you ever would about the team. Dont get me wrong i wanted them to win but reality sets in it was a lucky win. Thompson isnt worth a d*mn, cant see over the line. Him trying to act like heckman isnt going to happen. And to the other guy, they ddint get a first down at the bga scrimmage. Our o line is week and deffense is the only reason we stood up and even having a chance. AND FOR DYSON, what a great coach, doesnt even have a hurry up offense set. PATHETIC FUNDAMENTALS. They picked dyson up strictly because of his name and who he is. Dont get me wrong hes a great guy, but im sure there were a lot better prospects indy could have gotten. Ravenwoods ex state coach was one of the canidates that was quickly declined by cambells ignorant self. Eubanks will be the one and only coach to lead indy to a state title game. Although he had a great team to work with noone else that ever steps foot in Indy again will even have a chance. Lack of talent, coaching, and prospects. Now that cass of 10 is gone Indy has nothing. Love to hear back from you or your son who sits on the sidelines every friday and will make nothing of himself.

  6. Eubanks is the best thing to ever happen to ihs. Im pullin for cendy now. Can't wait to see Dyson front of sports every week with another indy loss. IHS didnt even get a first down against bga. PATHETIC. IHS goes down hard tomorrow i promise you that. Doubt indy even gets a td tomorrow. Just watch

  7. Okay, one more time indy eagle, INDEPENDENCE IS NOT THAT GOOD! You have a couple of decent players and one quality pitcher, Brian Miller. Also, everyone in the district, besides hillsboro, has a better head coach. Frankly Bill Moore is a joke.

you wouldnt consider dylan toscano a quality pitcher? usually somebody thats gettin recruited by sec schools is decent but i dont know anything bout that??!

  8. Indyeagle09,

Back to your bad arguments again this spring! I'll be glad to point out some of your faults. First of all, Josh Lee is a good high school player. Period. He is not a huge star, and has never done well against Franklin anyways. Also, a player does not sign a scholarship, he signs a LETTER OF INTENT, which has nothing to do with whether or not he has a scholarship or is a recruited walk-on. One of the best shortstops I have ever seen, Curt Powell from Farragut, didn't last at Vanderbilt. He transferred to Vol State, so no offense but I don't think Josh Lee is even on Curt Powell's level. Secondly, Franklin scheduled Columbia, who is usually good, nobody knows what team will be good on a year to year basis. Lastly, you are right on one thing, Indy usually starts off slow. And guess what? Last year was the first year in the history of their program that they didn't end slow too, so I predict another slow start and slow finish this year as well.

But heck, we'll see who is good in the 3 game series this year, I really think this is the best way to see who is the best team, with the most depth (pitching at least).

curt powell didnt last at vanderbilt becuase he wanted to start shortstop as a freshman, when they have studs in front of him.. thats just not happening. and when you sign a letter of intent your goin there on scholarship, if your a recruited walk on you do NOT sign a letter of intent. good try though, get your facts straight

  9. But just for you RiverCityRage i came up with your other favorite teams lineup.....

Ooltewah Owls Coach Brian "The Beast' Hitchcock

    1. Jose Reyes

    2. Dustin MVP Pedroia

    3. A-ROD 'THE HUMAN STEROID

    4. King Albert

    5. Mr. Matt Holliday

    6. Chipper 'The Home Town Boy' Jones DH

    7. Yadi "THE HOSE" Molina

    8. Ichiro"Karate Kid" Susuki

    9. Ken "The Kid" Griffey JR.

Starting on the mound for the Fighting OWLS Tim " The Freak" Lincecum. ;);)

It was the best game of the year and i am pretty sure both will win the state no problem.;)

    yes sir three cardinals players!!

  10. Jeffrey Aaron is apparently hearing offers from Texas, Kentucky, and the baseball power house Rice. He has recieved hand written letters from Miami (FL) and North Carolina

good one, jeffrey aaron is absolutely terrible! there is no way he is hearing from ACC schools, SEC and C-USA schools! dang good joke though, made me lol ;);):lol:;)

  11. Funtoplay, Robbie Ray touched 95mph at team USA trials. If he shows that velocity this spring he will go in the top 2 rds. Plus, I don't think he is a very good student so he would be an easy sign.

that did NOT happen!! no where close

  12. ill just say...

    Ford Wilson

    Josh Lee

    Ty Stannard

    have fun with that one....

yeah brentwood has got some great graduates besides robbie ray, eliot and jackson are looking real solid. bruins19 keep your mouth shut

  13. SD in playday March 6 @Karns with Karns/ Heritage and not sure if anyone else. Not sure of times yet.

Scrimmage this Saturday with Powell @ Powell @ noon. Final scrimmage with Halls @ home on March 10. GOOOOO KEEEEEEES!!!

    Thats cute

  14. jimmy redovian is a stud he started as a freshmen for bga he has amazing power to all fields and a really strong arm

all i know is that jimmy redovian is one of the worst baseball players i have ever seen play! michael moore, marconcini, and england smith is gonna hold it down but BGA as a whole, they are garbage

  15. Which pitcher did they beat?

    Just curious.

Well let's just say the pitcher who came in and gave up all the runs only pitched maybe 5 innings the whole year and was not with the team anymore from districts onwards.

well lets just say the pitcher that beat farragut, that was his only start of the season! :hungry:

Wow, nice! 1 start vs no starts! epic tournament game! Who won state last year though my memory is a little fuzzy?

you are the biggest #### on all of coacht! you graduated three years ago and never started a game on thie field. you were the bat boy/manager that just talked crap that only his players could back up. get a life and get off of coach T you ####! :hungry:

  16. Here's how I see it: 1.Franklin-has the best player in the District-Little

2.Indy-has the best pitcher in the District-Miller

3.Ravenwood-has the smartest player in the District-N Kuko

4.Brentwood-has the best catcher in the District-Shelton

5.Centenial-has the best hitter in the District-Kemp

6.Hillsboro-has the best uniforms in the District

Who does franklin have besides little and sistrunk?

catcher-Pat Raley-senior, best def catcher in the district, caught for the outlaws last summer

1st base/pitcher-Kevin Bein, 6'4" senior, pitched and played 1st for outlaws last summer, finally reaching his potential

2nd base/pitcher-Joey Falletta, senior, good athelete

outfield-consist of senior Kyle Grider, left handed lead off hitter, was second in stolen bases last year

junior Austin Crow, played alot last year as a soph, solid player

Franklin is the best defensive team in the district and will be the best hitting team. Pitching will be the big question, but with new and improved coaching staff under coach Glover and new pitching coach John Ridling(pitched in majors for 5 years) I think their pitching will be a lot better than people think

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL :lol::roflolk::roflol:
