Good luck chiefs next year , hope you enjoyed a little ribbing,
Monroe County football has got to get better, lets bring it tonight and may the
best team win. "weready"
-
My teacher sayes:
The Sweetwater Wildcats of Sweetwater 34
sequoyah chiefs of citico-ball play 6
"weready"-s
Chiefs 26
Cats 17
The only thing getting ugly is the sad drive back over the Ridge
Akphilips get back to class

"weready"
Bell for 300yds. I see Sequoyah getting about 600 total yds.
Seq. 65 - 3 Sweetwater. ( Sweetwater kicks the fg to go up early and never crosses their own 30yd line after that!
-
listen clitt chiefs ain't dominating nothing here sucker,ya'll going down , and it might get ugly
Rush for 200 - That will be Bell for the Chiefs
Throw for 100 - That will be Dyer for the Chiefs
CHIEFS Dominate!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'll give that chiefs played a tougher schedule, but 7-2 na, maybe 4-5, "weready"
AKA Lets compare the non district games
Sweetwater or Sequoyah
Rockwood or Signal Mountian
Greenback or Lenoir City
East Ridge or CAK
N. Dame or Scott County
If the Chiefs played sweetwater's schedule they would be 7-2 with the only losses being Polk and Loudon.

Rush for 200 Throw for 100
Ok, Sweetwater had some bad games, it happens. So how is the game going to go in your opinion? Will the Wildcats throw or run the ball? or maybe both? Just curious about something, you wouldn't happen to be a player would you?

wereadywereadywereadywereadywereadywereadyweready sorry dum
Ok yes sequoyah wins have been cake walks but all the other teams they have played they are all pretty much ranked in top 10. they really played all those teams well except for polk. Our wins are Tellico 34-0 Meigs 26-0 and central 35-7, yes cakewalks but sweetwater had trouble with all those teams. Tellico 28-12,Meigs 26-23 in double overtime, and central who hasnt won a game 20-6. sweetwater has won more games but sequoyah plays as a team. They play with one heart beat which is what they say before every game, you can here them in stands saying that. Too much of Bell and Mccane and peels dominating on the line. Sequoyah 35 sweetwater 7
-
Augh what game/games would you could you have won????
Last time I checked turnovers are part of the game! The Chiefs could say that if we did not turn the ball over we would have won more games also. No Way SWEETWATER is better than the CHIEFS! CHIEFS will be ready to play and will win!!!!!! Chiefs 27 Wildcats 7
-
thats a goodin
Sequoyah is the better team. Compare the other division games this season it becomes obvious, with Sequoyah only letting one touchdown score in three division games. Sweetwater had double overtime with Meigs at home, Sequoyah shut them out at Meigs!
However, historically, Sweetwater has beat Sequoyah even when Sequoyah were the favorites to win. As long as Sequoyah doesn't choke, they should be fine. I predict Sequoyah 24, Sweetwater 7

Sweetwater spring practice completed with a blue-gold game. Numbers looked low but Coach Marsh's offense and defensive schemes looked refreshing. Look for the big blue to claw it's way back to the top regionally.
-
Can you tell us a little about Coach Marsh's background in coaching?
-
Not hired
-
New man expected to be announce this week?????
-
I don't know alot but let me give you a tidbit woudn't want to jepordize anyones position but a southeastern tennessee head coach,as well as a former Sweetwater assistant now a head at another school, as well as a current assistant coach and a mystery canadate of whom I don't know anything about. Many applicants all or most interviews occuing this week. Don't take all my info as gospel but alot of truth in it.
-
Word is interviews are occuring this week at SHS, with a hire to be made in time for spring practice.
-
Coach Berrong was head coach at the old Madisonville High as well as Maryville Heritage.
-
I hear the weight room is open, I encourage players to get in there and do your off season work, last year you fell behind and it showed on the field, No matter whose hired in as new head coach, your've got to prepare or you don't have a chance to succeed.
-
No it's not a done deal, I'm sure of that, Sweetwater had a very young and unexperiened team last year, I think their talent level is a bit down but with maturity they will continue to improve the next few years.
-
Coach Willliams resigned due to family obligations, I hven't heard of any applicants, I believe their looking for PE major.
-
I understand Sweetwater High School is looking to hire a new head football coach, and can hire in after Christmas.
-
Looking for an edge, which team is capable of spreading the field to open up their offense, I look for a possible stalemate in the running game???
-
How have the Monroe County teams done in preseason???
-
How are the county teams doing in preseason???

If Tellico can go 3 rounds with wins over Oliver Springs, Hampton, and Onieda, I look for Bear football to be on top for a few years in Monroe Co. What do the Bears return? Sequoyah appears to be in limbo, but kids are resilient they just want to play ball? I look for SHS to be improved with the return of Coach Williams second year implementation of his program and many underclassmen returning, if they can field a legit speedback I look for much better record. Get MC if it's worth doing its worth doing right..
Sequoyah at Gibbs
in Class 3A & Class 4A

I believe the chiefs can compete if they can #1 pitch it on the veer and #2 throw from shotgun a little?? just an opinion
