Wel1 to both of yall have you read the Standard lately. I mean seriously I didn't realize we had NFL right here in Warren Co. People are acting like these boys have aged, lost it all and been traded for some younger much less able guys. It's another joke of Warren Co. politics and just plain stupidity. Come on these guys are in high school. Let them enjoy their youth and learn not be treated like a bunch of back biting adults. We wonder why our kids turn on each other. Look what a good group of folks we have leading them into the future. These boys have worked for a pay off of getting to play only to have some younger untrained person come in to replace them so we can have a good team in the future--where is the pay off for the current boys??? It's a game, a sport. It shouldn't be a sport about offending the youth. They should not have this type of pressure placed on them--they should be able to play in the position they have worked hard to obtain and each and every member of the team should support that and do the best they can to win TODAY not in the future for our coaches.

i promise you the coaches want to win this year. come to practices and watch what kids put in practice. watch the game films and see what kids are giving 100 percent every play, then make your decison. the kids dont turn on each other with out parents influenceing them. where is the politics you speak of. the kids of today dont care as much as they should. i know kids that when the coach is speaking they are worried about just hurring up and getting to there girlfriends,buddies,or just getting out of there as quick as they can. so just come tp practices and watch for youthen make a honest decision. THE COACHES ARE NOT GIVING UP ON THIS YEAR.

Let the coaches coach..... My son plays for them he is no star by all means but he still is excited about the coaches he has. It's two losses if you don't want to support them that's you alls loss. They need to make this were we can see the names of who is posting. Probaly wouldn't be as many negative post

Ok guys Cody Robinson is the real deal. He is one of the best prep players I have seen in a long time. Two plays that really stick out to me was when he ran down a db after a pick and when he hit our QB and knocked his helmet off. My hats off to you Cody.

I have never seen so much high low blocking in one game as I seen tonight.maybe tssaa will see some when they watch the film. Hats off to cc you got us tonight.

district will be decided between cookeville and warren county game ya'll might be suprised about warren county this year i think they are running split back and may throw a liitle more than they did last year.

i think it is going to be handled the best way they say fit i don't think and i have said this before young mens names need to be mentioned on here so lets try to stay away from mentioning young mens names on here and lets see how everything works out. the punishment is between the youn man and the faimly and the coach.

I bet some dealership in town can let him "borrow a ride" as long as he is in pioneer country and that is a value of $ 300 to $ 400 a month.

 

As far as the 10 at the booster club, i d say there is one or two deep pockets in that meeting and football means that much to them. I d also say there are other boosters with some "old money" that would love to be back in the process again. I will make at least $ 50,000 through the school system with summer money and supplement and maybe to take care of the field.

 

It does not take too long to come up with the extra $30,000.

bigmoney you have no idea what your talking,we have one dealership in town,other than used carlots, the ten in the booster club you are talking about don't have that kinda of money, the field crew does it for free so the coaches don't have to. i don't know what team you root for but as said in a earlier post hush especially if you don't know what your talking about.

i di not believe the new coach got 80 thousand, big money you want to look at what he drives, that may mean he has more bills than i do,look at what he drives that is so funny. He has coached and played football at a higher level than probaly you so if invested money wisely maybe he got a nice vehicle. in a previous post you had you brought up macadoo he did play against him and i think he held his own and is a year younger. by the way i drive older vehicles so i am broke as a joke.

imo i think the hc should look at the asistants coaches only if he has to then you have to look at which ones did a good job at there positions. there is some other people that is qualified to be asst coaches here in warren county that would probaly do it if they are just asked. they are well qualified and played at the next level. i just want to get the hc in here and get started. we are already behind. some kids are working out at home but we need to get more nvolved. we as a community need to get more involved. thru booster club. i can't push it enough there is alot to do and the booster club has the same 10 there month after month you don't have to be a parent to be involved. i just wished all the people on here would show up and help out there is alot to getting fund raisers going. utchkd i have no problems with you. I will be the first to admit i sit and second guess somethings that are done,but i do it at college games and pro games, thats whats fun. but i will ask the coaches why they done this or that. But i feel it is like voting if you don't vote don't complain. if you don't won't to try and help the program don't complain. i know when i goto a booster club meeting people are scarce,fundraisers the same way,painting the field we just about have to beg to get help. so now that i expressed my thoughts. maybe the next booster club meeting FEBURARY 9 2010 at 630 will be jampacked with people and the ideas on how they personally can help

The new coach will have a good AD, experienced players and some coming up, fine facilities and a hard working booster club. So what kind of crap are you referring to?

 

 

Parents .... no matter what he does someones kids parent is always disgruntle.....I know you stand down in the corner of the field but you should hear some of the wisdom that gets shouted to the sideline from our stands ...

 

the facilities are a joke really ... avery trave middle school has a weight room 3 times the size of ours... the old lockeroom hasnt seen a renovation in years .....Heat Rain cancels practice, with the new BB coahes theres no going to the gym...

 

The new coach will have alot on his plate winning games will take care of alot of his trouble but if he jumps out to a 0-3 start Hes gonna be in trouble

now i do stand in the corner of the endzone ya'll know who i am.i like everybody else is impaitent and wondering why they haven't named a coach yet. but i am being patient and trusting the AD i will be the first to admit i didn't agree with everything the previous coaches did. BUT NOBODY CAN SAY I DIDN'T SUPPORT THEM OR THE STAFF. I just wish we had all these people at a booster club meeting expressing ther concerns. when you don't have to put your name on here and you can complain on here but saying something different in public. lost ol dad i am on here alot. been on here for about three years. i put my name on here so people will know who i am. i usally agree with what you say. but on this thread i know the young man pretty good so i commented on a few things. now i apoligize if i have a life and do not have the number of post you think people should have. but i really don't agree with posting young mens names on here. he is trying to be the best he can be. i know he is a great young christian man. as far as coaches being mentioned on here that is part of the job. but the negative stuff on not just him but every young man does not need to be on here. he doesn't read it but some people take this as the gospel so they comment on stuff they no nothing about so this thread needs to closed.

i will admit i am bias, I know his faimly pretty good. won't find a better faimly. i have personally seen his workouts and it hurts me just watching. that being said that whole class upcoming seniors are pretty good. can't wait to see what they do this year. That upcoming senior has alot of remarkable kids and i am not just talking about there football skills, there is some great kids in that class,my son is in that class is he outstanding talent no but i couldn't ask for a better son. JUST WANTED TO PUT MY TWO CENTS WORTH IN.

hey nitro everybody wants to mention this young man now that they see how good he is where we they ten years ago. i agree with nitro there is few kids like him. and the thrower kid both have the biggest hearts for young men. i am proud to know these young men and to watch them grow up to be the young men they are going to be watch them when they leave high school and regardless if they ever play another down they will suceed in what ever they wont to do

being a warren county fan i went and watched saturdays games, giles filled up there side greenville had a good turnout,maryville had a great turnout,so did white station,cookeville is easy to get around and i think they did a decent job for the games

first of all I am not living my football thru my son. I am not saying my boy is d1 d2 or d3 talent but he didn't play freshman/jv either so if he is not good enough to play either varsity or freshman/jv then tell him. Don't tell us to raise all this money, i will still support the pioneers,just tell him he is not good enough for football. He is going to be a senior so some where in the previous three years they could have told him. Don't tell me they put the best talent on the field. if you been around the team enough you know they didn't. In this regime if your a senior you play. is that right? There was kids that didn't show up for spring or most of the season but played as soon as the kid felt like it. I WOULD RATHER LOSE WITH ELEVEN DEDICATED. So don't give me this crap about i am living my life thru my son.

Well I guess this group of parents have run another coach out of football. The entire staff normally resigns when the head coach does. If the new guy wants to keep any of them, they will have to interview. With all of the coaches gone it doesn't look like there will be any weightlifting or anything after school until a new coach is hired. Could be interesting.

Even with a new coach, it will take some talent and some athletic ability to get on the field. Some of you don't need to get your hopes up to high.

If you don't have your hopes high you settle for medicroity. I theink we have the athletes to compete

we lost games we shouldn't have lost, some say coaches fault some say kids fault, soame say because we didn't have the talent to win them games. if ya'll feel the parents is what got the coaches gone i will tell you what my shoulders aren't that big but throw the blame on me.

my son has come home and told me the head coach and def cord resigned today effective today. what do you all think about that. I like the head coach as a person i just think it might be time for a change. Don't know about the rest of the coaches if they resigned or not i think we need to start all over.
