Has anyone heard of any coaches he will bring with him or any former assist. coaches from here that will be considered?

Welcome coach Smith. It will be a big adjustment for the players and bigger one for the parents that have tried to control the program. Get ready becuase this coach will take no crap from parents!!!

Sounds like the committie has done a good job and the powers to be (AD, school board, Director of schools) have the program heading in the right direction!

Well I can understand your disappointment if Dunlap did not get a interview and Cotten did. At least Dunlap has coached more than just middle school and freshmen level.

You seem to be a big Dunlap fan. Searching the archives, I think he wore #27 when he played in high school? Hum..........................

With over 50 applications turned in, I don't think we have to look at anyone with a shady past.

they should be enough "quality" coaches apply that WC shouldn't have to settle with middle school coaches. WC needs a coach with proven success at the high school level to come in and straighten out the mess but he will have to have quality asst coaches and not elemantary basketball coaches!!

Kiffin lover is just jealous because we have one of the best stadiums in the state!!

This game has a lot riding on it because nobody wants to be last in a weak district. The Pioneers should win this game but it will be played in Cumberland Co and you never know what kind of officating you will get.

Who takes this game to stay out of the cellar of the Dist.

word from the administration is they are happy with Johnson and will give him a another year. I hate to break it to some posters but it looks "13" won't be playing QB next year either.

I think WC has dominated this seriers except for the last couple of years. Think back to when these games started in the mid 2000's and how bad you were being beat. Teams have ups and downs and we will be back up. we still have more wins than dekalb does.
