Karns didn't look that good tonight. Heard of a little bit of in-fighting going on from a player after the game but who knows.
If Maryville can hold Oak Ridge under 70 then they have a chance to keep it within 15.
Bearden and Powell should be a close matchup.

Back before everybody made a team in any sport they wanted to play (40 yrs ago), many little league coaches were known as tough and demanding. 10-20 yrs after that little league coaches were not allowed to "coach", that tough love could wait until school ball/middle school. Time passed and the middle school coaches were not allowed to drive a player, only when the kids were in high school should a coach chew a players rear end. I am sure it will or has already moved on up to high school and even to college. Gonna be strange when that 6'5" 19 yr old college freshman tears up when his college coach tells him how he sux.
It is today's parents that failed to make a team that are the candy *sses pushing the participation trophy attitude down to today's youth.

Almost every positive played was wiped out by a penalty. I hope Tee and Caleb are not hurt too badly. Just a bad game all the way around. Doesn't look good for next week. It seems to me our guys have given up on the season.

Mark Packer makes a lot of great things happen for HS sports and student-athletes. If it weren't for him, we'd have a lot less HS sports coverage and programs. I'm a fan

Tee is still the best player on the team, and the best player on just about every field he steps on! If he played in DB's offense he would have 250 yards a game, and 3 to 5 TD's a game. That is not an insult to Graham, just a fact. Graham is just fast as lightening, but still needs a little more bulk, which he still has a couple more years to get!
Will have to agree to disagree except that Tee goes up for jump balls much better.

I saw some Falcons swoopin around at Heritage last night too. The coaching staff was sitting up behind us.
Sat beside us last year in Maryville's first game - didn't seem to help much then.

Hard to tell about these 2 teams. Clinton handed the game to OR in that first half and TN high is just as bad as Clinton.
I would expect it to be a close game with the edge going to the home team.

MHS needs to get it together before tournament time. It doesn't seem like they are the same team each time I watch them play. Let's Go Red Rebels.
