Tonight’s game will have big implications. The winner will be regular season champion. Losing Cumberland County would drop all the way to 4th. White could fall to second.

By my count it s 6 game streak. Upperman won the first reg season game of the 18-19 season then lost the second game and the district championship. Last year Macon won all 4 match ups

You are right except for the region. Upperman was upset in the semi finals against Dekalb. So they never played in the regions last year.

Actually it’s 5 straight. Upperman won the first meeting last year

Draw in about an hour. Alcoa and GP will be on opposite sides. Macon and Upperman will be on opposite sides. Chatham and East Nashville will be on opposite sides. By default Haywood and Westview will be on opposite sides.

Semi finals are at TTU. There is an engineering fair being held there though so the finals are being held at cookeville high school as of,the last I heard

I didn’t pick the method. The same argument could be said for who performed against the better team. I was just stating how it is currently set up.

Tie breakers start with head to head. It then starts with records against the highest seeded teams. Since Smith is ranked above Watertown right now. Upperman would win the tie breaker with Livingston

Macon and Smith lose tonight.  York plays LA close without Lefew.  Going down to the wire to decide who is where still.  If Upperman wins Thursday against York they will win the tie breaker with LA. Macon is now third.

I don't think they played last summer. Probably the year before. The only summer game Upperman lost last summer was to Stewarts Creek

Lexie actually hit a Triple at 12 boards she set the school single season record. At 14 she captured her 1000. At 16 she broke the single game mark. She ended with 18 boards

Could be some interesting matchups tonight. Looking forward to see how it pans out

central magnet just finished 3rd place. What an incredible feat. 3 yrs ago this team had never won a district game. If that's not coach of the year, I don't know what is.

 

DidCentral beat Smith. If so then I believe the tie breaker goes to Livingston due to the head to how each team faired with York.

If Macon and Smith both win Thursday then Macon will be second due to them sweeping LA. It goes head to head first then records against the highest ranked teams. If still tied then coin toss

Heading into the final 2 games of the season and the only seeds that are probably set are 7 & 8. The last week means something this year.

I am a numbers person, but there are intangibles that aren't in the numbers. Also the cast around a player will make a difference on his or her numbers. Good players have can have big numbers. Great players make those around them better as well.
