Just wanted to give some props to some of the James C. Haile tournament teams.

South Cumberland small division Final Four made Final Four in 3A at TNT

Thurman Frances small division champion also won 2A championship at TNT

Southside, large school Final Four won 3A championship at TNT

Conerstone large school champion won 4A championship at TNT

Middle Tennessee Christian School girls large school champion won 4A championship at TNT

Cornerstone has a outstanding coach and a fine team. I saw them beat Southside out of Lebanon back in December and then again at the James C. Haile tournament. I didn't think anybody could do that. Congratulations

Thank you Congratulations to Southside as well. We considered them to be a measuring sitck to see where we were for the tournament. Southside has an outstanding team as well.

Boy this is a quiet thread. I am still looking for any scores for the 12th or 13th. Anyone out there with any information.

Does anyone have any scores from the first week. I know Cornerstone, Meigs County, Thurman Frances, Dresden, and Lexington all won. Anyone know any more.

I wasn't trying to take anything away from MTCS. It is just that usually a home team playing on their on rims gets a slight advantage. I even stayed and watched part of the MTCS game at the TNT last night. I think they should also win that tournament as well. My post was meant only to say that Cleveland must have a quality team because I haven't seen them just MTCS and knew how good they were.

Who do you play

None of the teams are very tall. Allons is the best of the 3 in my opinion, and Celina has improved quite a bit during the season with good perimeter shooting. As far as I remember all three teams played primarily zone defense.

I have seen Pickett, Celina, and Allons.

That is all that was sent to our school that I know

4A Livingston has a bye, they play the winner of Springfield and Community.

Midland has a bye, they play the winner of Lexington and Westmoreland.

Bottom half TW Hunter has a bye and plays the winner of Macon County and Meigs
