also, the 112 match for Blackman, watching it to me looked clearly obvious that he was elbowing the Mt. Juliet kid in the head. I thought to myself while he was doing this, I wonder if the ref is seeing this too, and sure enough 6 seconds later, the ref stops it, and the wrestler is ejected. What really stinks is that potentially lost them the match..well, he'll learn for next year not to put himself into that situation. Regardless of whether or not it was intentional, if he didn't go to his back in the first place, he wouldn't need to argue anything, hopefully he learns from this situation, as well as Mr. Seamon.

Thanks for the info,I was wondering what happened. But I have not seen anything on what happened with

Mr. Seamon. I know he was winning and his team had won. And I have never, ever have heard anything on either of the

Seamon brothers in a negative light like that. Only positive on the entire family. Could someone who knows what happened post if appropriate.

As I was shocked as they always struck me as hard charging but pretty well clean wrestlers.

Going to be a bunch of great matches in almost every class. I only wish that they would hold the semis and finals on Sat (for championship)and not have the semis on Friday. It makes for a long day for those guys

 

 

Is this correct ? Is it this way in all regions ? Seems like it would be a gate killer

and concession killer day 2. Great for the kids and parents that finish top 4

and for kids and parents that do not ( as far as time and money.) Just seems odd to run a 2 day

event this way. When all year they were done with semi's and finals day 2. Is this a regional option or State rule. Please advise thanks...and good luck to all

OK both school are great. But in this WHAT IF WORLD since they will not wrestle each other.

WHAT IF Baylor had to grow half their team from early age ? And Bradley could

recruit half ??What then on the what if ?

Or Baylor had to grow the entire team ? Or Bradley could recruit ?

How good would Bradley be then ?? Think about it.

Piece of work is what came to mind from my perspective & of what mom & dad Connell would expect. Some may say or think different in a heated moment like this. Reminds me of those key match ups ol WV Manley & BUDDY BCB Boone would be surprised about against many from Baylor, McCallie, RB, ND where I actually won, but some of the sweetest were those losses too that ended with no bonus points and had a Kent, Morphis, St. Charles or a Nelson etc. using some strong language. Crazy grudge matches continue to this day but coacht wasn't around to trumpet it back in the day! Just Ward Gossett's opinions and banners!

Looks pretty good. Except here are a few notes. West creek 160 Kris Sawyer WCRK beat the Rossview kid yesterday.

At 152 I do not see the kid Luke something from Dickson. He is 1-1 with Matt Price this year. Beat the McKeel kid 2 time this yea. And lost to the kid from Clarksville. Also the 152 West Creek beat the Rossview kid

at 152. And there is a kid from Beech at 145 that barely lost to Price the other day but it was not Isabel. Not sure of his name but he is wrestling pretty well right now. Here is a link to Hendersonville tourney this weekend.

West Creek 152,160,171,189 and 285 all have very good records and I think There are a few more from Dickson and Rossview that should be on the list

Hendersonville won close match with Dickson. Hendersonville also beat Rossview (not as close) but Rossview did have a couple of wrestlers missing I think. All 3 teams look pretty even

And as much as I was happy for Hendersonville and the kid that won the last match.

 

I was just as sad for the Rossview kid that lost. HE WRESTLED HIS HEART OUT.

Hendersonville beat Rossview pretty solid. Matches of note:

Dylan Treloar (H'ville) pinned Rossview Jeremy Gonzalez 103

Justin Conners (H'ville) pinned 171 Rossview Zach North I assume ?

Conners was bumped up because (H'ville) was sick.

Brett Jaeckel (H'ville) won forfeit as I read on other blog

Yusuf Yunis (Rossview) bumped to 285 and won dec over H'ville.

Next week H'ville goes to Clarkville to wrestle Clarksville,Dixon and Mont Cen. Should be good wrestling.

Clarksville looks to be the leader with Dixon and H"ville real close to each other. Do not know much about Mont Cen. but no one should be overlooked

 

Also, I overheard a coach from another team there watching saying that the Districts were odd.

One side is only H'ville, Beech and Springfield. And the other side was the other 7 teams ? Did not seem right to me. Can anyone clarify this ? Thanks

OK this will be close but not exact. Someone will have to add names scores...and correct a few. Both teams wrestled varsity except 160 Hendersonville. They bumped their 160 to 171 as the 171 was sick. And I guess Rossview bumped 215 to heavy according to previous post on this blog

Again not 100% on all. Lebanan (for the funding or lack of they get )fought hard. I think they had a few of their better wrestlers sick. Plus I have seen them once before. They bring all they have every minute. HHS will get a good test of where they are this weekend at Father Ryann .. And have some good matches next week with Sycamore,Est Lit, Clarksville, Dickson and Mont Central. Do not know much about SYC or Mont Cen. But I do know East lit and Dixon always wrestle us tough.. And nothing need be said about Clarksville. Then HHS end the week (12th) with the Hendersonville Invitational. So should be a solid week of solid wrestling.
