Let's get the chatter started about this tournament.

 

CoachG- To be fair to Bump, I believe you were the person who told us a week ago to not count out Riverdale. I would say he def took your advice.

HA!!!.  My point was that Blackman and Riverdale were to be considered.  If Riverdale was at full strength, they had a legitimate shot.  My thought process was that Blackman and Riverdale should have been the listed favorites to start.

This prediction made me laugh.  I didn't even give it credence.

Don't count out Riverdale in region 5.  They are putting on a show this season.

Everyone relax on this... Just because your boy isn't listed doesn't mean he doesn't have a shot.  These are people's predictions.  We didn't have a single boy predicted to medal last year and we brought home 3.  Matches have to be wrestled before medals are given.

 

Just my OPINION.  

I think we all knew how tight it would be at the top this year. Region 5 will be well represented at the state tourney this coming week.

Olivieri hasn't wrestled 160 since last year.

Go further down the page and you'll see the Cumberland coach has been suspended for his actions and can not coach his team at the PIAA state championships

After watching the video, I agree that the slam was there.  However, I do not like the posturing of the Cumberland Valley Coach.  He showed his wrestlers a really poor example of sportsmanship.
