  1. Coaches Clinic will be from 4-5:30 and rules meeting starts at 6 p.m. These times are the same for both locations. The clinic will be held in the same room as the rules meetings.
  2. Coaches, Monday, October 25th the Chattanooga Coaching Staff will be at Tyner High School doing a coaches clinic for all area coaches. The staff will also be at Blackman High School on Tuesday, Oct. 26th doing a clinic for all the coaches in that area. I hope that you will make it out as we make our way to each part of the state.   3. Coaches and Fans, There will be a social after the Rules Meeting in Kingsport on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. or as soon as the meeting ends. The location of the social is below.   4. Coaches, I hope you will make it out to the clinic on Monday. We will start at 4 p.m. an be available until the rules meeting starts. The clinic will be in the same classroom as the rules meeting so there will be no moving from place to place. Come out and hear some things our staff is doing that might help you and your team as the season begins.   5. Coaches, The Chattanooga Coaching staff will be offering a free coaches clinic in conjunction with the TSSAA rules meeting on Thursday, October 7th from 4-5:30. The rules meeting will then start at 6 p.m. We are having a social after the rules meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Sharkeys on Poplar Avenue. The social will be open to all fans, friends, and alumni.   6. Coaches, We will be hosting a coaches clinic Tuesday, Oct. 5th at Franklin Road Academy. The clinic will begin at 4 pm and end at 5:30 p.m. The rules meeting will then start at 6. We are having a social after the rules meeting at Mazalans on Wilson Pike in Brentwood. The social will begin at 7:30 p.m. All fans, alumni, and coaches are invited to the social. We don't have any secrets but fortunately each of our staff members have been at the high school level coaching at some point.   8. Coaches, The Chattanooga Coaching staff will be offering free coaches clinics prior to each TSSAA rules meetings beginning October 5th at Franklin Road Academy. Below is a list of the clinics and where we will be. We are tryiing to do a dinner after each meeting where the coaching staff will be available. This will be open to all wrestling fans. All clinics will be from 4:00-5:30 p.m. October 5th: Franklin Road Academy October 7th: Memphis Univesity School/Dinner with the coaches at 8:00 p.m. at Sharkeys off of Poplar Avenue October 18th: Sullivan North High School/Same room as rules meeting October 19th: Knox Webb High School/Will meet in the wrestling room October 25th: Tyner High School/Same room as rules meeting October 26th: Blackman High School/Will meet in wrestling room Clinics will focus on: How to run effective practice In-season lifting Performance reviews Athlete Evaluations If you have any questions email me at heath-eslinger@utc.edu or call (423) 425-4287. Areas that will be covered are: athlete evaluations, effective practices, video analysis, in-season strength training, etc Tuesday, Oct 5th: Franklin Road Academy/Nashville, TN Thursday, Oct 7th: Memphis University School/Memphis, TN Monday, Oct. 25th: Tyner High School/Chattanooga, TN Tuesday, Oct. 26th: Blackman High School/Murfreesboro, TN We are still looking for a contact for the Northeast Regions to be held at Sullivan North and Knox Webb. Chattanooga Youth Wrestling Camp Who: Anyone in Grades k-5 What: The Chattanooga Youth Wrestling Camp is designed to help develop our young athletes into competitive wrestlers on the mat at the same time teaching them to be Quality Men off the mat. From Basic leg attacks, turns, and escapes to high percentage throws will be some of the areas that will be focused on while at the camp. When: June 21st-24th Where: UTC Campus/Check in will be from 8:00-9:00 a.m. in Mclellan Gym on Monday June 21st. Time: 9 a.m.-Noon Cost: $100 * Camp will be limited to the first 40 participants!   12. June 7th is the last day to register for our on campus camp at UTC(June 21-27 for intensive and June 22-26 for Team and Technique). Register soon if you are planning on attending these camps. Registration will remain open for our Gainesville, GA camp. 4x All-American and NCAA Finalist Sam Hazewinkel will be attending our Gainesville Camp, training schedule permitting.   13. The second set of camp dates on the Chattanooga Wrestling Camp summer schedule is July 11-15 at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga coaching staff will be heading up the Technique, with help from 4x All-American and NCAA Finalist Sam Hazewinkel(training schedule permitting). Numbers at this camp will be lower than our Chattanooga dates, which allows more one-on-one instruction time for our campers. With its excellent facilities and wrestler friendly faculty, Riverside Military Academy was an easy choice. Go to Chattanoogawrestlingcamps.com for more info. We hope to see you there!

Chattanooga Wrestling Commuter Camp at Cookeville High June 2nd-5th June 2nd: 5-8 p.m. June 3rd: 5-8 p.m. June 4th: 5-8 p.m. June 5th: 9-Noon Contact Scott Cook at (931)520-2122 for more details. Checks should be made out to “Cookeville All-Star Wrestling”. The cost is $50 for all four sessions and a T-shirt. Registration forms can be found at http://www.cookevillecavalierwrestling.com This will be the first event in the NEW Cookeville Wrestling Facility.
  15. Bump... our camp on UTC's campus is nearly full for all of those who are planning to attend in Chattanooga. Sam Hazewinkel, Oklahoma's 4x All American and NCAA finalist has made plans to work our July 11-15 dates in Gainesville GA, training schedule permitting. Support your Div 1 wrestling program!
