What was outcome between Smith Co. and Dekalb?

How can any coach not know they are suppose to play a district game?Does the district director not give each coach a schedule? Maybe someone just does not want to play? Who should forfeit or PLAY!

Smith County has new coaches, may make it out of the district this year. Livingston played Gordonsville this week, not real impressive. Hear Upperman may be the team to beat. Have not heard what Dekalb will do this season.

What LA showed last night against Smith looked pretty impressive 13 - 2 in three innings.

Congrats to Upperman on winning tournament and to Dekalb for finishing second.Good luck to both.Upperman has started hitting well and will definately have to keep it up or it might get ugly in their next game, same goes for Dekalb;hear that Sequatchie is hitting well all the way thru their lineup.

It could also be that the strike zone is a "little" smaller in high school than it is in the summer?But you still gotta hit it!

The Halls Invitational at Sportspark in Knoxville was a washout for tonight at least. The tournament is going to try and begin play at noon on Saturday.

Duff Tournament in Cookeville canceled.

It was a great game. Close one.

Another close game between Livingston and Smith with Livingston coming out with another win over Smith.May not have been pretty; BUT it was a win.

Neither will go through without at least a couple of losses. Don't see anyone rising above the other 3 at this point. At tournamnent time...which is what counts..it's anybody's game then. Two of the four will move on. It could be any of them.

What happened with Dekalb and Livingston tonight?

Yeah...3 district losses by one run...one in 11 innings...one in 8 innings...the other in the 7th. Yeah...drastic turn around. They play all 3 again. It's a tournament game. We will see who is ready at the end of the season. Four teams are virtually even. Any could win it.

May have been 3 district losses by only one run each but it is still 3 losses.I agree any of top 4 could win but as it stands now only Dekalb and Livingston are undefeated in district play.We will see more next week as they play each other.

DeKalb beat Smith Co. yesterday and have started off district play without a loss so far.

sounds like somebody missed it when Smith Co. was top of their district; [being as how they have started] may make a DRASTIC turn around in future games; we will wait and see

Smith Co. didnt look very impressive in the only game i saw them play( which was against Rhea Co.).Must not have had new recruits playing at time?

IF there were any obstructions NOTcalled that is not what lost the game for the bees;i believe it would be the lack of hits that they managed; Last night a good game between Smith and Livingston with LA coming out on top;. waiting to see who they will play in championship game. ( i wonder if this was another no-hitter by Smith's pitcher[freshman talent article] that was a loss?
