Summertown has a new coach Jason Burleson

 

 

I really liked the big girl in the middle for Stown. She is a solid player and I like the way she plays. Is she a senior?

Yes she is a sr her and Morgan long #44 was our only 2 seniors

I know him real well he's a really good guy just very passionate about our lil community sports teams

 

 

No your boy VC tries his best to minimize Clay County's win last year instead of giving them credit for playing great defense and beating Summertown when it counted.

They beat us when it counted but this is a new yr and I'm ready to see wat we can do

I hope Jackson County gets Summertown first game. That way VandyChris will disappear until this time next year.

U act like Jackson Co is the Miami heat lol anything can happen and all the teams going to Murfreesboro can play I know it's gonna be a great tournament.

Richland just hit a 3 at the buzzer and won 55-54 in OT

The lady eagles went to lawrenceburg and defeated the lady cats by 8. Good win for the lady eagles

Speaks well of your district, I sit next to coaches from all over yesterday, 21 for S-town, went wild, prolly got some attention from colleges!!

Claire has been playing lights out here recently in the district championship she almost out scored collinwood by herself they had 38 i think and she had 30 by herself

Jackson County, Clarkrange, and Clay County...someone would have to finish 4th!

Surprise surprise surprise, you picking a Lawrence County team to win! What a shocker!!!!! Hey 1 win out of 3 games isn't all bad i guess??? Clay wins this game by 6. Summertown is decent, would be a solid 4th place team in District 7A

I didnt get to go today but i am tomorrow so wat should i expect to see from clay co

First time seeing Jackson Co, if they sit back and play zone on summertown, they get bombed-Stown lives and breaths by the 3 and if yoo play a zone you are giving up the outside shot...Dont see them being a threat to Stown at this point

Hampton had their worst 2 games against Hunter Huss and Science Hill. My guess is. if they played those same 2 teams again, they would have another bad day. They hung around with both those teams ,but the truth of the matter is,those 2 teams were deeper and more talented. That happens when you face schools with 2000 students.

 

Stown had a great season and beat some very good teams,be proud and move on.

Hampton didn't do anything that caused us to play bad we coulndt throw a golf ball in the Atlantic ocean today and we didn't box out we looked tense all day we never relaxed and just played eagle basketball and we r very proud of our boys on a great season alot of teams would have loved to be where we was at today

I said the same thing man. It looked like a different team out there because everyone knows how good S-town can shoot the 3 and how Clifton can drive the lane but they didnt fall. Congrats on a great season

Hampton has a great team no doubt and congrats to them but that was the worse game we played all yr we r much better than that and we just couldn't get our shots to fall but that's the way it goes sometimes and it just wasn't out day good luck the rest of the way Hampton

I figured it was yea he really has alot of good info on there he's usually spot on with his inside information

I remember the 97 team haston was good but in my opinion he wasn't even the best player on the team chris jones was he was unstoppable that kid could play

I am not talking about Summertown being able to run with Hampton. I am saying they don't have the talent to do it.

 

I have seen Summertown.

I haven't seen Hampton play so I don't know how talented they are but any team that gets to state can play so anything can happen but I'll be there cheering on my eagles wednesday morning and good luck to all the other teams should be a great tourney. Hampton by 10- Summertown doesn't have the horses to stay with Hampton all game.

 

CSAS by 3- by far the best matchup in the 1st rd

 

Middleton by 15- Cloudland is just outmanned

 

Perry Co by 12- great draw for PC

U obviously haven't seen summertown play to say they don't have the horses to keep up with Hampton. Summertown is very very very quick and will run the whole game they go about 8 or 9 deep on the bench. I haven't seen Hampton play they may be quick but i'm pretty sure summertown can run with them

 

I think whoever comes from the top half of the bracket is winning it all.
