CA was up by by atleast 10 for most of the game with mtp occasionally closing the gap, i don't think mtp ever lead.  it was a 4 point game with like 2 seconds left and mtp drained a 3.  CA got really complasive around 3 minutes left in the game and mtp closed a 10-12 point gap.  

I've noticed that no one from WC or Stown responded about their game.  They must be thinking about baseball already.  Stown fans have been putting stuff up on here until the last game.  WC must have worked them over because they are being quite.

MTP and CA any thoughts should be a good one to decide 1st place.. Richland looks for some revenge on S Fe after loosing earlier in year to them wasn't at that game but looking at other scores not sure how Richland lost.. Looks like Stown and WC playing for 2 nd tonite also..Good night for some bball since so cold..

Looks like Richland got their revenge over SF 46-41 and CA over MTP by 1.  From what I can tell 11A will finish out CA, MTP, Richland, SF.  I see where Cwood beat PC, WC over Stown, and Loretto beat FH.  Looks like 12A will finish Cwood, WC, Loretto, Stown.  Can anyone give updates on any games.  I thought that Stown might move up but they are slidding back down.  They have a 12-10 record and the only team with a postive record (except Cwood) in the district.

Ok....guess I will give a stab at answering my own question......no one is into baseball yet!

 

Yes 12a, Collinwood does have a lot of talent returning, however may lack the leadership to get it done this season due to Briar moving on!

 

Was I close?

They will have several guys back.  Jace Brewer will be their lefty ace.

It should have been a rebuilding year and in a way it still is but

they are rebuilding with a bunch of experienced players that played

really well at times they also got some fine looking freshmen coming in

including several big linemen and another of the caperton boys and man

is he athletic

Collinwood is going to be real good.  I think that they are going to be the team to beat in D12.  They are going to surprise most people.

Wonder if they got any applicants

I think that the guy that used to be the wayne county middle school coach (Keeton, I think) would be a good one.  He had something like 3 or 4 straight years of undefeated seasons.  That guy was unbelievable and so cool and just got so much out of those kids.  He seems like a really nice guy is he still around?  Let's get him.

I was just wondering and i don't think y'all are on a downward spiral i was just wondering if someone was hurt or something. How was the game last night in Waynesboro by the way? 

From my view I thought that both teams matched up well from a defensive stand point.  The games that I have seen Cwood play they were very explosive and ran the floor well and put up points.  The games that I have seen WC play they were not a very good shooting team and had a lot of turnovers.  With that being said, a low scoring game is to WC's advantage because they just don't have a big scoring threat.  Last night it looked like both teams came out and defended each other very well.  I do not think that either team had player score more than 13 or 14 points (IDK for sure) and the game went WC's way in a low scoring game and they kept it close.  Cwood has a much more talented team than most every team that I have seen this year and will make a run to the state tourney. 

Cwood won......that's all that matters of to me. Its rare for a 1a high school team to go undefeated, so a 3 point win is as good as a 30 point win.

Looks like Cwood has 1st place wrapped up in D12 but who will pull out the 2nd place?  So far WC is 2-0 in the district with a win over Stown.  Stown has a win over PC and is currently 1-1. Loretto is 1-1 with a win over PC.

Looks like MTP and CA will battle for top spot.. Richland looses at SFe then SFe looses to Hampshire, Richland beats Hampshire bad so who knows after the top 2.. After seeing Cwood earlier and MTP I would say Cwood is the favorite in this region.. Have not seen CA.. Cwood has all the pieces to make a run to the boro.. Their team reminds me of Richland last year. Balance all over the floor someone else can hurt u every night..

Matt Lineberry is the man could be MVP of D12A this year.  I wonder if your team has to win a game before being the MVP?  One thing is for sure he is doing it against the better teams of the district.  Logan is doing it with his team and there are 4 players that are averaging above 10 points per game.

Can't wait for season too see if there is anything to talk about. Hoping some are ready to start early!

What you guys got in Stown?  Must be loaded.

These scores are close but Stown has played 8 games, Loretto 3 games, WC 5 games, PC 8 games.  I think that Cwood & FH maybe the only ones that are up to date.   

These Collinwood fans don't have anything on the Perry County fans during their run 2 years ago

Cwood has a talented team.  They will make a good run at the end of the year.  I hope that they do.  They are excited about the talent level that they have and if any of the other teams had that level of talent in this district their folks would be excited too.

Collinwood put it on Rogers, Al tonight. 58-37. Trojans are rolling.

I didn't expect the Loretto and Perry County game to be as close as it was. Anybody got any thoughts on it?

What did you expect in the Loretto/PC game then?  Loretto better or worse than you thought?

Well scratch the Loretto/FH game as well.  postponed due to weather.  Loretto tried to have it played last night but FH had a jr high game going on and would not reschedule.

There's only one bus in Clifton. lol        The Stown/WC game has been scratched too.

Cwood beat a AAA Lawrenceburg 66 to 53.  Cwood's Wesley Pigg had a big game with 29 points.  Cwood has 4 players averaging over 10 points per game so far (Montgomery, Pigg, Ray, Robertson).

Cwood on top in D12 with stown (no district wins), wc, pc, loretto, & FH and probably in that order.  Looks like CA on top in D11 with MTP right there, richland, hampshire, cville, & cully bringing up rear end.

Summertown beat Richland at home 54-51 but led mostly the whole game. Led by 10 but Richland tied it up in the 3rd quarter once. Summertown lives on the three pointer!

I caught the WC/Decatur Co. game on Friday.  DC by 11.  WC led after 1st.  DC by 1 at the half.  Close game up until mid 4th quarter and DC pulled away.  WC looked ok considering 4 days of practice.  Football boys still playing rough.  Freshman Rice & freshman Bevis played well to be freshmen.  I thought that the Camfield kid looked pretty good for WC as well & soph Tyler Brown played good in sperts.  I think WC goes to Adamsville tonight & plays MTP at home tomorrow night. 

I had to go to west tn yesterday.  Stopped in and caught the Wayne County/Adamsville game.  WC stunk it up and will be lucky to win a game if they play like they did last night.  I thought that they may be ok this year but not holding my breath.
