  1. It has been a heck of a week. I don't know think anything has been left uncovered. I even read about a cross dressing super hero stalker troll who dates donkeys. And a ill fart, I even seen something about a ball game. But I don't rember hearing from ole smash mouth. Good luck, good health and stay warm.

    :roflol:

  2. Make it 9 posts in your first hour. You just trying to burn through that "camper" tag in record time or what?

ROFLMBO!!! Camper tag, You're kiling me!!! :roflol: I gotta git home n cook....errrr.... kill me some supper now.. I ain't bin to da Walmart in a montha Sundays if youins no whata mean. :hungry:

Youins have a good time messin with that lil feller... don't go to hard on him, all that knowledge of his will get him places no doubt.

  3. :roflol::roflol:

And how could he be as forgetful as to not mention that lil runt BEEF! Hes another that will run the wrong direction to keep from getting hit...we are such cowards up here in the sticks!

Maybe one day we'll get a coach to teach us "today's" football

How is BEEF? I heard he grew the last couple weeks! Hes now what, 5'2 145-lbs?

Glad that beast is on our team

Shoot NO! Are you kidding?? He's FINALLY able to look his Mom in the eye! And....wait for it......this week he moved up to the 2 cheeseburger meal. I look for him to weigh in at a whopping 150 lbs by this Friday!!!

  4. When you play a Muffin Schedule...you end up getting eaten. hungry.gif

 I'm sorry, I thought we were playing cupcakes?? All this time, we were preparing for cupcakes?? No wonder. Muffins are just totally different all together. Well then, guess we'll just have to get ready for the whole dang bakery next time. :thumb:

  5. You make a great point, the boys know alot more about what went wrong than any of the fans. I know where we struggled and so do the team and coaches. We just have to have everyone doing their job and we'll be fine.Time to refocus and understand how hard you have to play to beat good teams. They have a habit of playing back.

Yes, it's funny how what I see and think from the stands is always totally different from Beef's version of what went wrong. He is quick to remind me why I am not a football coach..

  6. Heard Edwards had cramps ....not sure how serious Balado is.....

Beef had cramps in both legs. Worse in the braced leg, looking for a different type of brace without that metal bar wrapping around the calf. Will have to prepare better for dehydration and I guess the colder weather. But that wasn't the big downfall for him. He's dissapointed they didn't carry out the things they went over all week to stop the J-train. from listening to him, I think the boys are blaming themselves and not their coaches. I hope if nothing else, this game teaches them to train hard and pay attention every week and that occassionally David does slay Goliath.

  7. You know since you guys mentioned it, you reckon anyone is charged with advertising the guys names out there? For example, Beef made the pre-season All State listing for Defensive Lineman and he wouldn't have known anything about it if the Coach hadn't told him. It was kinda backwards, it was in the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Memphis papers but I never saw it around here. I would think if I saw that in those papers, you should definitely be reading about Waters wouldn't you think?

I'm not exactly how all that works, but I've been wondering why the team roster and stats aren't submitted to websites like unapproved website, Coach T, or any of the other sites scouts frequent. I think it would be a great idea and very helpful to the boys, especially when filling out all those college questionairres, if someone would keep up with and submit the info. Most of the colleges even ask for a link to a sight listing rosters and stats and we never have a link to give them. Not even the Hampton High school site is updated.

Yeah, Pujo, help us with that....you got big feet.

As for Friday, GO DOGS!! I have to work in Johnson County around all these Longhorn fans.........and there's nothing I'd like to see more when we play 'em than a GOOD OLE FASHION COW TIPPIN'!!!!

  8. I don't reply much on this forum, just enjoy reading the post, but Hampton being a 1a school playinng Johnson Co a 3a school in the three rivers and Unico and Happy Valley hardly seems like a weak schedule, Hampton also looked good against South Greene in a scrimage a couple weeks ago and South Greene is no Joke this year.As for sub-par coaching, do some research! (Mike Lunsford JC Campbell). Those kids don't need anyone to give them respect, THEY EARN IT!

That comment kinda left me scratching my head, too, Tdog.

  9. Well,it looks like Hampton just improved again, nahhhh we didn't get another player but we did get a new lineman. Just moved our BIG blocking back to the line where he could very well be an all state lineman. We should have plenty of people to toat the rock,we just need to give um a place to run. This speaks volumes about our fullback. Its all about what makes the TEAM the best. The only thing that could make us better at this point is for the Dugger kid to come back out, He's only a soph and a vital part of the future succees.

I'm glad someone else feels that way Pujo. I'm proud of him.

  10. Edwards can be used in various ways,he has good feet and also catches the ball real well. Not sure how much he can lift, but he is a strong kid.

Sounds like the Lunsford man is gonna have to give a better synopsis of his own team. But if you want to make a few notes ,add Lane Smith as the QB.

I don't know much, Pujo, but I know Beef can sure knock a hole in your food bills....and if he don't quit shaking my refrigerator up and down like a salt shaker after the last crumb.... well, I'm just gonna have to send him to your house. :roflol:

  11. I'm really proud of you're son,he has really picked it up a notch,as you said ,he had worked hard and he had learned to be accountable. I'm impressed at the way he supports the team even though he can only give moral support, alot of kids in his situation would be up in the stands on Friday night. He is still part of the TEAM. I think you made a wise choice to bring him to Hampton, he's a different kid than the one I first met. He's always been a big ,strong talented kid. He just needed a strong hand that wouldn't listen to excuses . If he and the kids coming back next season works like they should ,its going to be a sight to see. These are some of the biggest strongest backs I've ever seen on a highschool team. I've seen ALOT of um.We'll keep him.

Thanks Pujo!! He's spent the last few years learning for sure. I can't show enough gratitude to the high school staff and the whole Hampton community for jerkin' a knot in his tail. I put alot of stock into your thoughts as well, you seem fair and tell like it like it is. So, every time I'd see him headed off of track I'd yell "do you want Pujo to see you like this?" Of everything he is or isn't, I can say he is truly loyal to this school. I'll never forget the day I walked him in to the front doors at Hampton. The coaches and the principal just happened to be gathered around the front doors. I grabbed him by the collar and said "hey, can you do something with this?" :roflol: and by golly they did.

Even without him on the field, I've enjoyed this season, too. I'm very proud that my kid is a part of this team, they have some big hearts. Hope that cannon rocks some windows Friday night! I'll be there with my dinner bell!! GOOOOOOOO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
