Anyone have any information on how to purchase tickets? Can they be purchased at the gate cash or card? Thanks!

The Yanker X believes the game will depend on controlling the Alcoa QB – he can flat run over you and has also developed a nice passing game, and the Maryville interior defensive line stepping up.  The YankerX is not minimizing the ALCOA stud running backs – they are tough as nails, very talented and they will get their yards.   If the QB is not accounted for and the interior D line has their problems, this game could become a track meet with the team having the ball last winning the game.   But as the game goes on, the YankerX believe Maryville will score their points and believes GQ and company will be able to scheme the strengths of Alcoa and Maryville will win something like 38-21.  So says the YankerX!

Maryville looked pretty good in the passing scrimage againt CAK last Thursday...but that was without pads.

Anyone know the date and time of the Maryville – Greeneville scrimmage at Carson Newman?

It may have been the level of competition that they played..but I didn’t see any drop-off in the Alcoa team..they simply looked awesome. Their intensity, strength, toughness, and conditioning were impressive. Did you note that after their quarter that instead of resting the coaches had those guys out there running! I can’t wait for the Maryville – Alcoa game…I believe the Maryville D will really have to step up and be much more physical to make this a game…but I am sure this statement will be covered in detail in the Alcoa – Maryville thread that I sure is coming…………...Y/ X
