Wonder if they would be 18-1 over the last 2 years playing with those guys? I cant really speak to the strength of the schedule but keep in mind, Davidson only has 228 students in the high school according to fall 2010 enrollment numbers. That is less the half of Webb and also less then region counterparts; FRA, DCA and Ezell Harding.

i was right about all these except EH and Zion. didnt see that coming.

4 east/middle region games this week.. DCA vs SAS- i pick DCA Ezell Harding vs. Zion- i pick Zion Davidson vs. Riverside- Ill take DA in a close one..lol Webb vs. FRA- ill say Webb, but i wont be suprised if this one is closer then some may think

I dont know much about cascade either..i read in another thread that they lost 17 seniors from last years team.

Whats up with Davidson? Last year they beat Cascade 42-9 and now they lose to them 19-7? Was Coach Wade that important to them? I know they lost a couple lineman from last year but they returned every RB and the QB.

D2 predictions for tonight.. DCA over MJCA 56-0 Ezell Harding over Eagleville 28-21 Davidson over Cascade 35-7 Those are the only local games i know about tonight

Anyone know how some of the scrimmages involving single A teams went this weekend? there was.. Nashville Christian vs. Davidson Academy Ezell Harding vs. Mt. Juliet Christian Zion Christian vs. Perry County FRA vs. Springfield

Im no Davidson fan but Davidson only has 260 kids in their school. Thats 200 less then Webb and about 250 less then ECS. Forcing them to play schools twice their size isnt really a fair way of bringing them competition. And im pretty sure DA beat Webb.

What 3 teams? ECS is bigger then Webb but who else? Webb has 100, 200 and even 300 more kids in the high school then almost every team they play. Webb has more kids then BGA, Ensworth and Brentwood Academy. I guess its a good thing for everyone in single A that those guys decided to play in AA

First off, i dont think webb is doing anything to keep the enrollment down just to play in single A. I think the issue is with TSSAA only making 2 divisions and forcing teams with 150-250 kids plays teams like Webb that have almost 500. They wouldnt do it to public school teams but thats another issue. As far as Webb's roster being smaller then all but 2 teams they play, thats just false. I know for a fact that Zion, MJCA, Ezell Harding, FRA and lancaster have nowhere near 50 kids on the team, freshman included. As a matter of fact, aside from maybe FRA, who might have 40 kids, the rest of those teams had between 25-35 players. Also, the point that some of Webb's boys dont go to school for athletics goes for almost every high school. So Webb is pulling from a bigger pool of athletes which again, isnt their problem, to me its TSSAA.
