Westmoreland showed lots of heart coming back from a halftime deficit against Macon.  I believe they will come out of the gate Friday night with a desire to get it done. Hopefully the weather cools some and cramps will not be a factor for either team.

Tough first game for Macon. Could say same for Covington also.

Macon has 4 girls who were on the state runner-up team in 2011. Livingston was first game of the year for Macon and first game learning to play without big posts. I would expect a much closer game should both be fortunate enough to make the finals.

Macon played really well in Region and last night against a good Creek Wood team. I think they are getting it all together at the right time. Playing good D and good inside-outside game will give other teams trouble. Go Macon Tigerettes.

Liberty making a run 9-1 Can Macon hold on?

Liberty went on a nice run there....but maybe a little too late. 10pt lead with less than 2 minutes to go. Macon in the bonus for rest of the way as well

I actually think Macon is playing up to their potential...they didnt do that against Manassas

OH, no doubt! That was what was frustrating to watch yesterday. But Manassas had much better pressure against us. But, if Liberty gets some shots to start falling, they might get back in the game.

And this Liberty team doesn't seem to be ANY better than Manassas. Maybe they are just having an off day, but Manassas looked much tougher than this team. But, Macon seems to be playing much better today as well.

Macon County is looking pretty good right now! Anybody wanting to change their predictions at this time?

Last I heard, Macon Co. was bringing two pep buses and RBS was bringing one. All thre were said to be near capacity. More could possibly be added (just guessing). Many private vehicles making journey to Mboro. Everyone in both towns is extremely excited. Both teams are talented and, with a little luck , could make some noise in tourney.

Macon has played two very close games to win sectional and region title. This could be a great benefit if it comes down to crunch time and game is on the line. Macon has multiple options to go to if comes to this. And I would almost bet the farm that Macon will be the team that brings the most fans. Go Tigerettes!!!!!
