Good luck to the Loretto girls! Make Lawrence county proud!

The kid that I was referring to was #24, I just thought it was great for him to come over after we got out of the locker room. Our seniors stayed in there about 20 minutes and were very emotional but he made it a point to shake their hands. I hold no ill will to your team, they seem to be a great, classy team. Just a little upset that we didn't go farther. Good luck!

LC plays a very aggressive style of defense and McMinn County capitalized on that by constantly driving into the paint. I sat near a gentleman who played on the 1971 LC team who made it to state, and even he kept saying that LC needed to quit committing those stupid fouls. So you can blame that one on your own coach for not recognizing it. And the way LC was nailing those treys, I'd have glaldy traded McMinn's 2 point.

I didn't say LCHS wasn't fouling but you can't tell me that McMinn wasn't fouling also. When the fouls are that one sided its pretty pathetic. When we were leaving the gym and had to watch the coaches and fans from McMinn walk out with the refs, patting them on the back and calling them by name makes you wonder how close they are?? McMinn has a great team and we could not stop that kid {can't think of his #} that kept taking that jumper in the middle. I will say this about your team I was VERY impressed with the kid that waited til our boys came out of the locker room to shake their hands, class act. Good luck to y'all in the state.

Congratulations to the Eagles, from LCHS! Very proud of yall ! I know you will represent Lawrence county very well. I hope I can get up there to watch y'all play in the championship game. Good Luck!!!

Congrats to the Cherokees, awesome performance tonight. Long drive back for Lawrence County lol.

Short drive back for the ref's. Its always tough to lose a game but LCHS was completely taken out of that game because of the ridiculous one sided fouls! I just hate for our seniors to have to go out that way.

Was at the game friday night in Lawrenceburg---you are right, the refs were horrendous and the fans unruly. Not a fan of wither team, but your boy got T'd up for trying to go into the stands to rescue his parent from yapping with a LCHS fan. Lot of bad calls all night, mostly against LCHS. From my perspective, I did not come away impressed at all by GCHS, rather very let down by LCHS.

What a surprise Vandychris was let down by LCHS! He usually is even when we played Summertown and beat them twice. Yes LCHS has not played very well the last few games but they have played well all year long and will bounce back from the losses. I would also like to say congratulations to Trent Garland, district MVP, Andrew Cheatwood and Shelly Young on being named all district and to Coach Clark on coach of the year in district 8AAA.
