Well it looks like Rhea County will have a repeat year of a 1-9 season. Let the talk begin.....

Don't look for the Rhea fans on here much CBRF. Don't see them winning any games the remainder of the year.

Rhea has been playing some sophomores. And yes that was a good freshmen class and they look to have another good freshmen class this year. Future looks good for Rhea if they all stay at it. I will take Rhea 24-12.

Good game last year I agree. Rhea Co will be more physical this year. They played a great game at Powell. Lost by 8. Won over a weak Brainerd team. Lost to McMinn big, but the score did not reflect the play of Rhea Co. Pure officiating plain and simple. Not saying we win, but alot closer score.

Rhea did look much improved at Powell. Signs of good things to come I do believe.

Rhea County looks to be stronger and more physical than last year. Will be an interesting game to watch. Should be a good test to see where the boys from Evensville stand.

I hear the Eagles did fairly well in the 7 on 7's. Anyone have any input?

Been hearing the boys are working hard in the weight room. Very good to hear I must say. Also heard the new turf field and track will be done by August.

What are your thought's for the 2012 season?

EP and RC you both have valid points. I still think you have to give the coach this year to see what he does. We do have some coach's on staff that really want to see these young men to be the best they can be. And E4 is right we need to all get behind these players and show them how much we appreciate them.

RC, I havent heard nothing on the coaching staff lately. But just seen a previous thread that Fitzgerald will be at Hixson.

If this is true Fitzgerald will be ok.

If everyone would spend more supporting the players at Rhea County and stop bashing the coachs things would be alot better. No matter who the coach or coachs are, not everyone is going to like them. Even if they are 10 - 0 or 0 - 10. Somebody will find something b**** about. As a former Eagle from years back to current day supporter I say we need to back the program and coach's and give it a chance. Most of you didnt like Fitzgerald either. But he just looked over all the stupidity.

So you are saying that all the coach's were coaching negative. Find that hard to believe.

I've been hearing some news myself. Interesting to see how this is handled.

Going to the team hudles at the end of games it is all you heard. How the seniors were setting the foundation. And they were left pretty much out. I will say that this senior group from the kids I know were great young men. I applaud you for hanging in there. As you say they stepped up and the Loden kid put us good situations on his punting each week. Does anyone know if any of these seniors are going to play college ball anywhere?

Well guys and gals here is how I see it. I was at every game but 1 this year and alot of the practices. I seen very little discipling. This years team had issues from the coach's to the players. PERIOD. Rhea County is not blessed with outstanding athletes and haven't been for along time. But what we have had is a group of kids that love the game of football joining together and playing hard nosed football. And they were competing until this year. So not a soul on here can make me believe that it was lack of tallent. That is on the coach's ability to coach and therefore I blame the coaching. The idiotic penalties the mouthing the sideline caos with players I blame the players. All this other stuff everyone keeps bringing up that the administration is at blame. Well all I can say is get out and vote and make the changes. Or go to the school board meetings and place your concerns. Surely they are all not as tight knit as some of you say. But at the end of the day what ever you do, do in regards to the players of any sport. They are who it affects the most.
