I'll have fun, talking about football  if we both make it,  but I wont say anything bad about Baxter, too many great memories around there.

But some Alcoa folks still have a bad taste from the way some upperman fans acted and talked in '13. Go back and look at the thread if you want a laugh. It got heated for a minute. Lol

i got put in a timeout that week for arguing with uppercumberland dude.

So you're saying its not possible?  I mean, they can be beat it if the other team shows up ready to punch them in the face instead of being scared from the name on their chest.  Alcoa is just another team.  AE AIN'T SCARED that's for darn sure!!!

Yes Alcoa can be beat but not by the likes of AE. Your team has been beaten 93-29 in the last 3 games including 31-8 on your home field just a few weeks ago. lol

The only stupid comment I posted was, “Tom posted Alcoa gonna win 35-7” that’s about the stupidest thing I posted and read!!

Looks like Tom was pretty much on with his prediction but AE shocking the world? Not even close.

Turtle you have stood your ground against this F5 bunch lol. I'm gonna be at a Chris Stapleton concert with wife Hope you getum buddy.

Its not very hard to stand your ground using stupid comments on the internet. He knows AE has less than a snowballs chance in this game.

Whoa Nellie, I haven’t predicted anything that’s what was stated in the paper today .  I just said, “I guess AE needs to shock the state!”  BTW the first game wasn’t a blow out last year.  Alcoa got a pick 6 as time expired which gave them a 21 point victory .  I still say that last TD don’t count  hahaha ... now i will say AE will score more than 7 points

"I haven’t predicted anything that’s what was stated in the paper today" must of been a knoxville paper. lol........and if AE scores 7 points it will be toward the end of a very lopsided loss.

So Tom predicted a 35-7 victory by Alcoa . That’s craxy but i guess AE will have to shock the state !!

Are you ever right about anything or do you just like being wrong about everything? Twice last year you said the exact same thing and AE got whipped both times.

In all actuality Blount County is really at fault for the whole thing. Back in the late 80's they cancelled the football program at Eagleton on a money saving venture. Those kids had two choices, go to Alcoa or wait two years to play football again in high school. Eagleton was the main feeder program into Heritage and once that system was broken they went from having a 60-46 record in the 80's to a 19-82 record in the 90's. Then you get into 2000 to now or let's say the end of this year because Heritage isn't going to win a game and the record for those 19 years is 41-156. Once that cycle was broken and all those kids kept coming to Alcoa instead of Heritage when the Eagleton program restarted the Mountaineers never regained its ability again. If you don't believe me follow the pictures from the 89 Alcoa Championship team with 32 players just a few years later with 60 plus players in the early 2000's. That didn't happen because all the boy's at Alcoa started drinking their milk. It was half the kids that should of been playing for Heritage that ended up in this cycle that was created by the county themselves. Once those kids had no choice and most of them came it was like The Ho Chi Minh Trail to Alcoa not to ever be broken. I'm not throwing stones at Alcoa but the county for letting such buffoonery happen when they shut Eagleton down for a few years. When they restarted that program back it has never been a shadow of what it once was. My only fuss with Alcoa is when someone says that little 3A team or a big majority of it's male students play football. Well Duh.................. In the 80's Heritage won 6 of the ten games between them and Alcoa. In the 80's Alcoa was 76-34, 81-39 in the 90's and 241-33 in the past 19 years if they win out which they will. Heritage on the other hand is 41-156. That program at Heritage is now permanently destroyed. No coach on God's Green Earth can ever revive that program from the thirty years of cancer inflicted by the county for halting the main feeder program into one of it's high schools. Alcoa's gain, their loss but you know what's even funnier than that, the stupid people out in the county still think it all has something to do with Maryville.  Well except the A.D. out there who was smart enough to say if your going to beat us that's fine but My God you take our 1,500 yard rusher and move him into a rental house you didn't even need to make him eligible. He said the H E double toothpicks with you all and you can replace us with one of those Urban Farm Towns that brings thirty fans to watch a football game and see how that fits your athletic budget.

I graduated from Alcoa in 1981 and we got our fair share of players from Eagleton back in the day. Lots of kids saw the logistics and decided they would rather make the short drive to Alcoa than all the way up to Heritage. Tuition was only $200 a year.

im also going with db playing a good game against alcoa. if it wasnt for the conservative playcalling last year we would have beaten alcoa and should have beaten that bradley central team that  we were kicking their ---sses until once again conservative playcalling  killed by u know who and that terrible call against us when we had alcoa beat, So my son plays for db and he will do his part i just hope everybody else will, dont know why everyone is so frightened of alcoa they still have to stop our offense our running gameas well. i know first two games were terrible but we are playing a whole lot better now and dont give a crap what u scaredy cats are saying you are going on speculation that they are unbeatable we had them last year beat on 4th and 8 and that sorry ref made a phathom they got 1st down and scored but if not for call we had them.I know uor defense is suspect but its plAYING Absolutely better and we have players on offense as good as theres other than possibly recievers so i cant wait till we meet them next week and you scaredy cats go hang out with your momma.

Open enrollment in a large populated county is the problem.   If you need a player just go across town and find what you need.  Alcoa should at least be in 4 a.  It wouldn't matter what level they would still be the favorite, they are that good.  Three a is a joke for them

More like Alcoa is a nightmare for just about anyone right now.

Never thought this would happen, this Alcoa bunch this year must be some kind of special.   I would say to enjoy this victory, relish in it, waller around in it!!      Because on Sept 21 a big bad tornado from Kingsport comes blowing into town.....

You sure you're not talking about King-ston not Kings-Port? They're very similar and both will take a beating like a car from AVIS.

    Upset Alert

As I'm watching the end of Golden State @ LA Lakers and even the Lakers are in the game and have a chance, been close the whole game and it's tied at 102 late in the 4th Qtr.

Things have been going Covington's way this year, all year and may continue tmro. If they can maintain, control poss, run the clock, run the ball and hit the tornadoes with several unsuspecting passes when they crowd the los Covington may very well take this thing. I think Covington has played better competition, outside of Mville game, and it will show tmro.

I respect Alcoa bigtime, they have the gold balls to speak for themselves and won most of em back when " a hoe was a hoe,a coke was a coke, a crack was on the sidewalk and not above low riders, a screw was a screw and only the wind blew, and most importantly BACK WHEN GOLD BALLS weren't watered down, how many are there now 7? 8? Soon they'll be  giving  em to every team for participating

Alcoa may win 8 out of 10 times if they played 10, but tmro sky's are clear

    Alcoa                  27

    Covington         28

Uppercumberlandman,is that you? We's thought yous was dead.
