  1. If Sequatchie doesn't turn the ball over or do anything stupid then Alcoa only wins by 3 or 4 touchdowns. But if they are sloppy with the ball or their coach starts making some boneheaded decisions, this game could get as bad as what happened to Upperman a few years ago. They thought they had a chance too but wound up getting hammered by Alcoa 75-18 in that semifinal and that game wasn't as close as the score. Most if any points scored by Sequatchie will be against Alcoa's backups after the game is well in hand.

  2. Omg here we go again...you don't play anybody in the east, especially now that Bradley moved west

Congrats you play Maryville and Fulton, would you like another trophy for that?

No one cares about losing to Alcoa...do you know why??? Because your players aren't actually from Alcoa...so it's no different than losing to Brentwood Academy or MBA, we just don't care

You win 1 game "that matters" all year, and we congratulate you. You're team is impressive. Just remember 3a football doesn't owe Alcoa anything...enjoy your day

Why do you think Bradley moved to the other side of the state? Because he knew that CAK is only good for a every once in a while win win against Alcoa. I'll let you look up how many times CAK won and also what the scores of all the games were over the years. The most ridiculous thing you said was that "No one cares about losing to Alcoa" that's just flat out ignorant to say but if you've come from a loser program and the team you cheer for hasn't won squat I can see how you personally can feel that way.

Now you're sounding like the uppercumberland duo who also like to insinuate that Alcoa recruits and cheats but always lacks any provable facts. Just like them you now lack any credibility but I won't insult you with any name calling, slick. lol

  4. I don't think it matters who Alcoa plays...and I would prefer to keep that off tv...no way is that suitable for a home audience

Glad you're finally coming to your senses. You cannot compare how good your team is by who you play in the west. When your team finally meets up with Alcoa its devastating to some and difficult to comprehend how unfair the gap is between your teams and Alcoa. We've tried to warn other people but you really can't.Its something you'll have to see for yourself and then just accept all the "I told you so's".

  5. Speaking of. Do you F-5er's think you'll ever jump up and try some higher classifications out? I mean, you do have as much depth and numbers as any 6A team in Tennessee so I don't think you'd really be at a disadvantage if you do. It would also give you fellers something new to thump your chest about.

Over the years Alcoa has tested themselves with the higher classification programs. They've played Maryville forever and Fulton and Catholic many times. They've even traveled up to Kentucky and played programs who have state championship history. Last year they killed CPA who had beaten the eventual 4A champion badly and a very good Peachtree Ridge team down in georgia who sported numerous division1 talent. Alcoa will eventually move up in classification and when they do,you will see teams who dominate that class move out so they can win a state championship because they won't be able to because of the mighty F5.

  6. I want to get something cleared up...I have never disagreed with our special teams strategy...unlike others I think with 100% certainty that a full strength Liberty Tech D could hold any team in 3a to 3 points or less on a short field time after time...

Guess who's in 3A? You're 100% outta your ever loving mind if you think that Liberty Tech is going to hold Alcoa to 3 points or less time and time again in the Red Zone. That just ain't happening in the real world. I think I cleared this up.

  7. I dont think he was concerned as much with 2015 as he was this year .. plus when KC lost to them they had been hit hard with injuries .... at the end of year when KC was healthy I think KC takes that game with CPA .... whether they beat Alcoa or not in 2015 .. dont know ..but didnt get to find out since Rankin canceled series correct ????

Playing games on paper is a sign of being a paper tiger Tadvols. Alcoa's record against Catholic and Fulton over many years speaks for itself. I believe that Catholic hasn't ever beaten Alcoa and Fulton won a single close game. That are the facts.

  8. You are correct ..its pretty obvious except to the Alcoa folk ... 2014 game that Alcoa had with Knox Cath 21-14 was too close for Rankin' liking .. so he drops Knox Cath and picks up Chatt red Back who has fallen on tough times and beats them 48-0 in 2015  ... he knew KC was gonna be really good in 2015 and 2016 .. he aint dump .. great coach but big ego ... he really dont like his 13-1 record every year and if he had enough pull to get rid of the Maryville game he would ... in 2013 0 2014 he dropped Fulton .. yes Alcoa has 1 14-1 all time record against the Falcons and has beaten them bad alot of those years .. and had better teams .. but Fulton still played them ... in 2011 Alcoa fresman team come to Fulton to play and Fulton spanks them 38-6 .. Rankin is thinking ..hhhmmm these guys are gonna be Jr's and Sr's in 2013 and 2014 so he drops them ... and Fulton wins 4A state both years .. KC wins state 2015 and will this year also ... so yes Rankin is smart and he preserves his ego .. regardless of what the Alcoa faithful says .. they have a great program and deserve all the accolades but it looks bad when you pull out of series when you know teams are getting good .. looks bad .... Alcoa can beat most 5A schools and most 6A and privates but  Rankin wont test the water .. he likes his 13-1 record every year .. well he dont like it .. like I said if he could get rid of the Rebels he would be happier ..... now I have just stated the facts and given Alcoa all their due for the past wins against Fulton and stated how great of a team they have each year .. so hopefully some Alcoa fan wont bring up the 14-1 record against Fulton and try to tuen all this back around away from the facts of 2013 -2014 Fulton and 2015 and 2016 KC teams but they probably will ...

Catholic wins the 2015 4A state championship but lost very badly to CPA. Tell us all what the score was between ALCOA and CPA in the 2015 3A state championship game.

  9. Keep yawning. In the playoffs you have no choice but to play who's on the other side. When it comes to making your OWN schedule. Rankin ducks and hides. Always have and always will. The keep drinking that maroon Kool-Aid. This is coming from the some of the fan base which would like to see the F5's play better teams.

Wouldn't playing who's on the other side in the playoff's be stating the obvious? Alcoa's 14 state championship's in 16 finals should prove that they fear no one. As for Rankin ducking and hiding,it was only a few years ago that Alcoa had to schedule teams out of Kentucky because they couldn't get anyone to play them. You should show up in cookeville this year to cheer on that team from the other side. They'll be needing all the support they can get.

  10. Yeah Maryville was runner up last year that's a true statement but so is the fact that they BEAT ALCOA on their OWN field!  ALCOA recruits more than any other team in the state, at least Maryville has to nuts to play at the highest level of competition in our state.  Alcoa has recruited in more athletes than any other 6A school, they have just as many skill level players as any other 6A school yet they choose to play "down" in 3A because they know they couldn't win 7 titles in a row at that level.  Don't get on here and talk about the number of kids that go to Alcoa, half of them are football players so the numbers are skewed.  Cannot wait for the Turdnado's to come across town this year.  Its going to be a beat down.  You can get on here and say what you want about winning the state in 3A you're still #2 in Blount County boys.... :popcorneater:

I know that I'm stating the obvious but you have some serious issues dude. You ain't right in the head.

  11. How about you leave the recruits at home and just take the kids that actually live in Alcoa and see how you come out? What a joke you are. You get on here and put down another program when the majority of your players that actually play have been recruited in. You morons are some sad individuals. How does it feel to be adults and make fun of high school kids that give their all for their home town? You won't be running off at the mouth in a couple of weeks when you head across town to play Maryville, I guarantee it!
