Actually the wind was blowing against Dresden in both directions, didn't matter which end of the field we were headed to. The wind would magically die down when FCS got the ball. I guess the private school had more money in the offering plate on Sunday along with more recruiting funds.

Really? Internet tough guy? Boatraced? I was one of the first to say congrats to FCS. Look at the stats. Yes your punter was much better than ours on Sat. Actually we had four punts of 12 yards or less and yes one was -7 yards. Until the 4th quarter and as bad as Dresden was playing you had your hands full.

Like I said before we played, the team with the least amount of turnovers would win. You guys won because of turnovers, penalties and field position. Don't act like you were the best team playing in Cookeville, Dresden hurt themselves far more than your team hurt us.

I agree with a previous poster there isn't one team represented on these boards that would not take that win over Boyd. As for recruiting I know a few of these kids families and they have been going to fcs for many years I can't speak to all of their kids but give it a rest talk about a bunch of whining women must be that time of month

I have to agree from reading the Dresden posters here I really see no need to play this game. Who knew we had this caliber of a team in TN. Hoover in AL better look out a new team will take over their record for most weeks at 1 in prep football. Sounds like this crew could do it.

I am from FCS, hence "CommanderMan" and thats still not a 3-1 record. It is still 4 wins to 0 losses which I'm pretty sure comes out to a 4-0 record. Either way, we have made it to the state championship and have to play Dresden. Both teams have had a great season by just making it to the championship and I want to tell both teams congrats on making it there. Is there any film on Dresden on the internet? Preferably the last few games.

Sunbright won that game by 2TD and Sunbright QB didn't play most of the second half.

First off your full of it I was at this game he played the entire game. Second the score to put them up by 14 was on a short field after a failed 4th down conversion in the 4th quarter. You obviously weren't at the game so using your common team theories and what team beat who fcs should curb stomp os!

You say OS got beat by not so good teams! Coalfield 10-2, Subright 7-4 & Kinston 3A 7-4 score was 35-31- Kingston got lucky the last 45sec of the game& Greenback 9-2. I wouldn’t really call these teams no names.

not sure why anyone would wanna show jim brown any respect, i heard him myself get mad at his players and call a time out and when the girls got to the side line he looked at them and told them they was dumb, and not that that was not enough said he happen to right after that call them double dumb, sounds like some kind of grade school stuff to me.... just know he is thankful i don't have a girl playing for him cause if he called my girl double dumb i would whip his you know what right in front of everyone in the gym..

You mean a coach called his players dumb???? Holy cow he should be hung!! If thats all a coach ever says to one of your little angels growing up count yourself lucky I can assume from this you never played a sport growing up? While he may yell at the girls I dont recall ever hearing him swear at any of them, he is a great girls bball coach, if not for this team what would JC have to hang it hat on really in any sport???

Well considering our coaches spotted fcs a td at the half and fcs off really did nothing until the fourth when JC stopped playing then yeah this game was much better than some past ones to be sure. You scored more on def and special teams than you off did fcs is going to get their sweater vest shoved down their throats next week.

Its not just about JC its not fair for Trousdale and FCS who may be the two premier teams in state in thier class and in same region already played to have to play this early in playoffs when other teams from differant parts of state with no previous games would be a better fit and let the fans see teams from other areas, but thats just my thoughts, and my thoughts and 50 cents will only get you a senior coffee at Mcdonalds.

If they played this year, I'm confident JC would win. Cascade is a #4 seed in quad 3, and I'm confident JC would beat all the team in quad 3 except Adamsville. That tells you about the unlucky draw they got this year.

Yep played a very good game against Cascade last year. Bad luck or not the JC kids and coaches should be proud of making it two in a row. For a lot of schools i realize that's nothing but coming from bball country it s big thing for us. I would like to say JC beats FC and quite honestly if our QB could get the time they would slice FCS up in the secondary, they weren't as strong there as years past. Their line on the other hand imo is better than what they had last year.

JC 6 FCS 56 Lets be for real, the Commanders are looking to get revenge on the Jackets next week on the Creekbank. After getting embarassed on TNL Game of the Week 17-0, FCS has been practicing for the Yellow Jackets ever since the following Monday. The Commanders feel real good about playing the Jackets again because they have the formula to Flood the Creekbank. Shut down #3 like they always have + hit #4 in the mouth because he will lay it on the ground + Base our game plan on #12 because #3 is no longer a threat + Keep whipping their lineman like always(SOFT) + keep running our QB "EQUALS" FLOODED CREEKBANK!!!!! OH Yea and mix in the factor McNeill > Creasy! Round 2 Gonna be Good!

They may very well beat JC by your score. Round two for you on the creekbank will be another loss however. While I'm sure your game plan is sound the execution of it has yet to be done, given that FCS hasnt beat TC in sometime it might be wise to come up with another one since the one you described hasnt worked to this point, right?

Would love for us to be competitive in this and following the win over H2O I know a lot fo the JC folks are a little high right now. Honestly H2O may have had one of the worst lines for a winning team I have seen in sometime, in contrast FCS IMO has the best D-line we have faced this year. If we decide to mix up again this week with some I formation and spread I hope they can get the kinks worked out and limit our proceedure flags.

More than anything we just dont want to see them go out and lay down on the field like the first game this year. Play hard boys win or lose.

Hard fought game congratz to the JC players and coaches. Different look tonight from JC a lot of the game played under center. Don't know if the new look messed with H2O. Running game was clicking tonight if they can continue the balance the off could be a lot more effective. Deff played great tonight they really showed up when the team needed them. Great game H2O congratz on making the playoffs as well.

Well going back to when RBS played Jackson County. RBS put pressure on Goad and kept him check for a lot of the game and that is why RBS was able to keep it close. Out of the points JC scored against RBS I believe Goad was responsible for each one as they put the ball in his hands. Going into Watertown I expect JC to do much of the same and for Watertown to win this game they're going to have to put pressure on him because if Watertown gives him time to make decisions he'll slice them up.

Strange thing is and its happen two games in a row, JC came out in the third and tried just running the ball. I believe the first two drives they had in the third was 4 runs by the qb and a punt then 3 runs by the backs and a punt. Same thing happen against clay its like they forget we can't run! I agree with popping runs on teams here and there but JC will never beat anyone running the ball, anyone that isnt pickett or richland let me add. If H20 has line issues as well then perhaps JC can offer some protection this weekend.

Well then Watertown fans that were around for the first 6 weeks will probably be back this week. If Watertown can contain Goad then Watertown should be able to beat JC. JC uses their QB and works him to death throwing and running the ball. Should be a very good game and should be for 4th place in the region...

I agree the Off goes as the QB goes for JC but from what I hear from the people I know in the H20 area they are concerned that their line both O and D isnt any better than JC's. That being the case it should be a good game they have more speed overall that may prove out to be huge. You have seen both teams I can only go on hearsay.

It is a big game for both, for either to get to host a first round game is something that hasnt happen a lot for either program lately. For JC making the playoffs for 2 years in a row is a school record. Sad but true first time in school history they have had back to back playoffs. Good job boys and coaches!! As for the game i think it will very close a TD will decide this both teams from what i have seen and heard are about as even as two teams get. I am sure the H2O gang will tell me how wrong i am and JC will lose by at least 28.
