Poindexter was a very good high school player, but how many colleges have a 6'1'' post player? Not many. He lacks the size to play at the next level. From what I have seen over the past few years, he isn't a great shooter from outside or a great ball handler. He was great around the basket but just too small for college. But like i said, he was a very good high school player. And i wish him the best and i hope he proves me and the rest of the "haters" wrong
yea thank u soulsurviver ha u make good points but see thats what everyone else isnt understanding he got offers to play GUARD not post .....they not get what im trying to say!!!!

Tyler Hill- point guard from White House
He's not a big name, but he could hit just about any shot with his eyes closed
-
Not hatin good HIGH SCHOOL player. Theres no way he played point guard or even the 2 or 3 he cant even walk and chew gum. Thats my point there is no 5'10 post from westmoreland he can pick on in college which is the position he plays. On the next level he would play bigger players who would work him. I played against him last year and he was the 4 who couldnt shoot or dribble ask anybody with a non-biased opinion.
Yea ur obviously someone who guarded rob and he dropped 25+ on u, man just hush just like everyone else said u clearly dont know what ur tlking about..if he couldnt shoot or dribble i dont think he would have gotten any offers and as i recall i remember him hitting several game winning jump shots...dont think you give a ball to someone who cant shoot or dribble in tht situation just quit hatin man or just learn what you talking about

You honestly think White House is better than CPA, Maplewood, and East Lit? What a joke. That's like saying Greenbrier is gonna win state... RIDICULOUS
[/qu
white house is better than east lit and maplewood
-
And Greenbrier would have to get by Lexington... GB vs White House is fun to talk about, but ain't gonna happen
True.

I would love to see Greenbrier Vs White House in Round 3 - winner goes to Cookeville!!
If white House gets to round 3 they'd have to get by liberty tech && if they pull that off WH goes to Cookeville.

No he didnt play anywhere because he couldnt he was a good high school player but nothing more very undersized. On the college level at 6'2 u have to be able to handle and shoot. Theres no 5'10 white power forwards on the next level for him to pick on.
ha get real man!! first off QUIT HATIN! he was good enough he just chose not to play...i dont know if u knew but as i recall he ran pg for his aau team and if u put a 5'10 so called power forward on him why wouldnt he play post?? thts obvious bball knowledge....its called a mismatch!! O and since u obviously dont think he got any offers..get on the phone and make some calls to these schools.....martin methodist...mid-continent (mayfield,kentucky)...lindsey wilson....should i continue???? ..................Get ur facts rights old man

Gentry will be back the first of January and no- the pg did not tear his acl. Saw him play in the cpa league on saturday and he looked fine to me. It is going to be a great season, no doubt. WH will be very good and with their length and 1-3-1 zone they probably are the favorite in District 9, like the saying goes "to be the man, you got to beat the man!"
CPA and Maplewood are leaders of District 10, but I would say that a "darkhorse" in that district is East Literature, at least according to an assistant coaching friend who's son plays in that district.
WH and maplewood scrimage at maplewood in a couple weeks, should be an interesting matchup.
-
Yes they should. They are guard loaded and have more talent at guard than probably anybody in the region.
I guess your knew to basketball because it takes more than gaurds. Cant live and die off the 3 because good defensive teams can eliminate it

CPA beat WH by like 20 this summer. sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. Jalen Lindsey and Bradshaw will have 10 dunks each if CPA meets up with WH in the region. CPA and Maplewood are the teams to beat in this region. GO LIONS!!!
I was at that game, white house had their best defensive player out, and one of their best players didnt play much because his wrist was bothering him. AND coach pulled their starters in the third when white house was down by 3. so add all of that up and it will come to a good game. Bradshaw can play but one man cant beat a team. Lindsey is nothingwhite house cant stop

I didnt say anything about Sycamore beating White House. You said it wouldnt be close and I am saying it will be. If you look back on this thread, some people where saying Sycamore was going to walk through the district and I said WH would have something to say about it. No, Froedden is fine. CPA's pg tore his acl, not Sycamore's
Well, if gengtry is back by the time they go to white house this will be a greatt/intense game.
