I'm from Cleveland and everyone saying that bradley is a weak team is wrong. I am happy that cleveland got to play bradley at the very beginning of the year when everyone was still trying to get used to everyone, because by the end of the season bradley was a force and i think that the outcome of our game would have been different if we had played at the end. Just because they didn't beat OR doesn't mean that they are a bad team they finished with a very solid 9-3 record and i'm looking for them to run away with the district next year. Even though we are huge rivals i'm on the bears side with this one, The Bradley Bears are on their way to being back to the winning ways of old.

The article calls the Cleveland High's 4 senior transfers "Cleveland’s foursome". One Meigs County student, two Hamilton County students, and one from Kileen, Texas. And that's just one sport and one season. If people only knew the widespread problem that Cleveland has with recruiting. If it is a legal transfer, that's one thing. But we all know that the majority of their "recruits" are not legit. They are one dormatory away from being a private boarding school. Until then, I guess the coaches' residences will have to work.

I'm still confused on why everyone is still fussing about the transfers, TSSAA looked into all of the and ruled them eligible, end of story

But look on the brightside. You'll be able to hit the recruiting trail a week early. May not be a bad idea seeing how your going to lose about EVERYONE that has touched the ball on offense this year(exception of #8) and I don't think anyone in the district would care if you brought back your entire D.

Ok, considering we lost 1 district game and besides that game our defense played pretty good in district games we might just do that

For those that left, maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side huh...

 

As for having class... We would be more than happy to come up there and help you polish your district trophy but you will have to wait a little while............. We have practice next week. Sorry.

Good game and good season this year Cleveland! You guys did a great job fighting back late in the game. I dont understand why EK would not keep the ball on the ground during the onside with under two minutes left. WAVE THE FAIR CATCH AND ITS OVER!!! Did not understand that call but dont understand alot of EKS decisions. Once again congrats on the successful season.

Congrats Lawrence County on the win, i know we get onto each other here but its for the love of the game. You guys played a great game and you beat us fair and square no excuses from over here you deserved this win and good luck with the rest of the playoff!

cleveland's Defence was embarrassed by the way the played last week, look for slaughter to have them fired and ready to play some ball. All cleveland fans know how good this team can be when they play together. it should be a great game. good luck to both teams

Cheap and Classless?? You Cleveland fans really know how to hurt peoples feelings!! I would have to say in football every play could end ones career. I wasn't the one that started slinging mud, it was one of your buddies! If yall are going to label us as cheap before you even play us then pulling a finger or two would be much better than being speared or hit late. There is a big difference between playing hard and being cheap and classless. I hope LCHS lays the wood to your boys friday night and shows you what the difference is between 5AAA and 8AAA!! I shouldn't have said that about 5AAA because I have respect for Bradley Central, Soddy Daisy and the other teams in that district! You call us classless and it is your team that didn't have a single player receive and honor in District 5AAA. What a slap in the face!! The other coaches don't even like your team!!

To me thats shows how well rounded the district is, that a team can win the district and not have a all-district player on the team. It could show that when cleveland plays as a team they are better then anyone.

Come on people!! If I can admit that I was wrong about who won the district then surely yall can let a tranfer that actually was a none factor in the game between yall go! The running back had something like 1 yard in the first half and 60 in the second half. To me it may have actually fired up the Soddy team. Move on!!

Of course I think LCHS will take this one! They do have a good defense and run the ball well. I thought Tullahoma shut LCHS down better than anyone this year but I also think LCHS could have done a better job attacking T'towns defense. The pass defense has not been bad until T'town went to the spread and then it was a little unstable for a couple quarters. If Cleveland does a good job stopping what LCHS wants to do they always seem to have trouble countering what the defense is doing. It always seems to take them way to long to make an adjustment. I must say that LCHS likes to hit as hard as any team I have seen this year! With that statement, they sometimes get a little to aggressive and get flagged. They must play a hard, penalty free game to win. From what I have heard it seems Cleveland has a little trouble stopping the run. That could be bad if LCHS finds this weakness and stays with what is working! LCHS usually packs the house so Cleveland must be ready for a hostile environment! I could say that about all the District 8AAA teams though. We love our District 8AAA teams and I for one hope they all win! Go LCHS

Cleveland's defense has been very weak at times this year. You never know which Cleveland team will show up, If the cleveland team that us cleveland fans know show up then it could be a very close game. But if the one that played against soddy last week shows up then its going to be a very long game. It will be very intersting to see what happens. When the Chad voytik to B.J. Davis connection is on, nobody can stop those two. The offense will be ok, Slaughther just has to wake up the defense and do it fast

You are aware the Cleveland is not our district champ, right? They ended up second.

No, cleveland and bradley tied for 1st but cleveland got 1st and bradley 2nd because cleveland beat bradley

If we would have beat soddy we would have hosted a game, soddy absolutely killed us, it was not pretty.you never know which cleveland team will show up on a friday night
