Officiating was awful not good. The white hat was more worried about a stiff breeze knocking him down for a third time than calling the game. The only complement I have for that crew is that throwing a flag for the center moving the ball was correct every time.

 

The center was only penalized once for moving the ball.....I would know because that happens to be me.....

This post will very well be my last post seeing as i am a senior.....Our team played great last night i couldnt be more proud of my team....Minor mistakes and miscues did us in against a great Maryville team....Being that i played on the Smyrna team and am now a former player of this team i must say i wish the outcome was different. No matter congrats go out to all of the Maryville supporters they are the 6A champs, nothing can change that. And to my fellow seniors on the Smyrna team, we played our hearts out and i gave yall everything i could on that field last night, it was a joy playing with yall as a family, and look forward to watchin some of yall on saturdays....

Then lets talk about how great Symrna is, how overrated Maryville. Im gonna just let you know Maryville has dealt with teams like yall before. Overconfident, just because yall play teams that run it right at yall. Ill give to ya yall know how to fight back. Half the time yall have been down in yalls games. Dont count out the rednecks yet. We know how to play football, just as well as yall. Yall, have a great backs that yall count on, great. We have a great team. One or two players are not going to beat Maryville, they have been down that road before. We might as well not show up, cuz Nashville football is greater than mountain football.

For your info. we have been down in maybe 2 games this year at half...... If you knew anything about this smyrna team, you would know that we dont under estimate anyone especially a team who is in the state title game....... Also hardly any team could make it here with one or two guys.....kinda why they call it a team Ill bet on our team anytime anyday because its my opinion and im entitled to it

That's funny Nice Try Smyrna has faced many challenging opponents this year, but Maryville is a different type of opponent. From what i hear, Maryville is a very disciplined team so it should be interesting to see how this one turns out .... All I know is Smyrna should stay

Most of us Smyrna fans understand what Maryville is about. This game will be a great one and probably one of the best to watch come Saturday. As i have posted before and will always post, the battle will be won in the trenches...... Speaking of, I havent seen film on Maryville, how is there defensive front? Any standouts, or just a solid group of guys? would love to know and cant wait until Saturday

Will this be played at Whitestation or the Liberty Bowl. Heard Whitehaven doesn't have a home field. Is this true???

Heard the same thing on the radio tonight after the game. It is true, from what they said, that Whitehaven does NOT have facilities on campus. Now idk if we are going to play in the Liberty Bowl but we gotta come ready to play wherever it is at and stay

Shout out to all of the blackman haters (AKA Mr. Donkey) thats what happens when yall face a good team. BTW anyone else enjoy our "dump" of a stadium
