QB - Bill Hall is the best all around player I have ever witnessed playing this position. He could run and throw. He had great instincts and if it was a foot race, you lose! I'm sure it wasn't too long after Bill started playing that Diggs said this one is special, and He'd be right!

 

RB - There are too many to choose from so I'm gonna let you insert whoever you want here. Believe me they were all good from both schools. However, no one in my mind is head and shoulders above everyone else. I still consider one of the most throughly blessed players I ever saw in this position to be Micheal Smith.

 

WR - Tony Lambert can argue with me all he wants , but I'm say this is Derek Lawson. The boy was a human highlight reel. Another one that if he was one step ahead of you, good-bye! The one player I ever saw that when he touched the ball everyone in the stands would instantly rise. That tells you something right there.

Hey Kaz, Lambert will not argue with you about Lawson at all, TL says Derek is one of the best he has ever coached. TL said he knew Lawson would be a great one in the sixth grade. Lambert knows he was average at best!!!!!!!

WELL, i'm guessing that Tommy and Bass are from SCOTT HIGH . It is like this Oneida and Scott are not gonna play each other so get over it. The other thing is that if your from scott county period cheer for both schools. I hope Scott and Oneida goes undefeated and win the state championships. All the players from these 2 schools represent this county in a whole, why cant we all just hope that we have the best 1 and 3a teams in the state. Oneida players work just as hard as scott does and likewise so dont be putting down the players either way and have RESPECT for both schools. Both teams just need to worry about getting in the playoffs. Lets all get ready to strapem on because the "MEAT" starts now GO BOTH SCHOOLS!!!!!

I have said this many times. This region is full of good coaching, so you boys shut your traps about this ignorance. Coaching is also overated at times. and by the way, how about nobody post on it anymore, because some ppl are wanting to talk about the TRUE topic and thats the game tomorrow....i think williamsburg will be tough for oneida because they have a pretty mean passing game and that is probably oneida's weakest piece of defense is the secondary, if oneida gets their offense in tact they will win this one, but if they dont it may end up like the coalfield game.

Hey kill, Oneida's secondary is experienced, when healthy. They all played alot last year. Buttram is out though.

Let me give you boys some food for thought. Williamsburg has put up over 1000 yds in only 3 games. It don't matter who your playing, THATS IMPRESSIVE !!!!!! Tommy Frazier (QB) has accounted for 14 TDs already(9 passing , 5 rushing). The TRIBE better beware, it could be a long night. The 'BURG is also having Alumni Night on Friday!

scott plays anderson county and they have 1500+ kids in their school

The Mavs know plenty about stopping people on defense! They need to keep working hard , and hittin' hard. Go Mavs!

I was listening to Gary on WECO after the game on Friday Night, and he said this was probably the most skilled team he has had during his tenure at Coalfield. I've seen them in person, and, I have to agree. This team is loaded. Oneida will have to play perfect to beat this bunch. They are also well coached, and, they know how to win. It will take a tremendous TEAM effort from Oneida to keep this one in hand.

I HOPE TO SEE THEM THROW THE BALL SOME THIS WEEK TO.MAYBE THEY WILL GET THE BALL INTO THE HANDS OF NUMBER #8 SO PEOPLE CAN SEE WHAT HE CAN DO.

I'm sure Oneida's coaches are trying to find a way to beat McCREARY CO. at the present. Scott has good coaches, and, York POUNDED THE ROCK against Oneida last year . Trust me I know.

Oneida fans need to worry about the task at hand. ..... McCreary Co. Ky. Looking ahead may be costly. I have found it best in life to take one step at a time thank you!

Oneida played hard last night, but they had better get up early and stay up late if they are going play with Coalfield. I was very impressed with the Jackets. They have a tremendous amount of skilled athletes. GK and his staff have done an outstanding job. The Indians may, however, grow up a little as the season goes on. I hope so! The verdict is still out on this young TRIBE! The playoffs are a possibility if they improve week to week.

Lambert also scored on a deep ball . The tribe needs to keep working.

North's loss is Tenn. High's gain......... Mike Wampler is one of the best I know. Great addition to ANY staff. He would be one of my first calls if I was building a staff.
