Tarp, some of us know and love having the Troll around, like I said. He is SM FOOTBALL!
-
Troll would have to find another hobby if we put in turf! Rather play on great grass any day rather than turf. Troll was there today trying help me get the soccer mower running. He spends a ton of hours no one knows about on our campus and it isn't all about the football field. Also some title IX issues.... Price of turf football and turf soccer/lacrosse fields: $1,100,000, Football field house: $1,000,000+, new indoor hitting facility for golf/baseball/softball: $75,000, Mountain Troll: Priceless!

Prayers to Coach Vic and family!!! Get well soon!!!

Thank goodness they didn't hire a guy that has just been passed around this area. And he's an ex-offensive lineman, that makes me so happy!!! Love a guy from "the trenches"!! In my book an offensive line in the most important link to success in HS football. Good luck coach, you will have great support up there.

Who's it gonna be on Signal? Boeck? Reynolds? Rankin? Creasy? Floyd? Slaughter? Barnes? Gatewood?

Congrats

Sorry Troll, but had to set you up for Booger! It was just too easy. Booger and you both great posters.
Troll is what brought in half of the applicants..................He is Signal Mountain Football!

My goal is to get every player an opportunity to go to College and be a Student-Athlete.
I signed one last year and didn't even coach the Student-Athlete.

I hope things work out between Caine and Sequatchie County. So far, he seems to be the right fit.
Me too, I'd like to see him back in the area and do well. And Seq. County deserves a good coach, that is a great football town.

Why would you have a retirement party for someone who isn't retiring? He bailed on Signal. He knew the gig was up. Just like East Hamilton the newness has worn off. With districts changing and Price knowing he couldn't get past the 1st round,he did the logical thing;BAIL ON SIGNAL. You can say he's the beloved. The truth of the matter is that the parents(except for the ones picked up in front of Howard high school) hated him,the staff hated him,TSSAA hated him, other school coaches hated him, referees hated him etc.......... He was never about teaching the boys how to be young men. It was always about himself and winning at all cost. That's why he'll be coaching in Georgia this coming fall. He is even leaving right in the middle of the school year. Why couldn't he wait until the end of the year? Why wouldn't he finish his career there if it was such a great program? He literally quit on those young men. Defend him all you want the writing is on the wall. That video made me vomit. Why didnt you put on there, him cussing his players or show him coaching against ND last year(to show how he acts in a loss). He blamed the seniors after the loss telling them they were nothing but quitters and he got into a scream fest with his coaching staff. He is a vulgar man with a little mans complex. TROLL HE QUIT ON YOUR TEAM WHEN THE GOING GOT ROUGH FOR A LATERAL MOVE JOB.
"He is a vulgar man with a little mans complex." Why don't we arrange a meeting so you can tell him that, I'd pay to see that one.

I wasn't sure it that was him or not, he attended private schools where as I was public school trash. Good luck to SCHS and I hope Coach Caine does great things down there. As always I wish all programs the best of luck in the Nooga area.

Where is Coach Caine originally from, hometown?

"BOOGER"
I wish I could have seen the game (missed it due to being hospitalized and I'm still here) I spoke to one of your coaches before the game and congratulated another one right after the game. Sounds like you guys owned the everything that night, just bask in the sunlight and we will meet again later. GO EAGLES !!!!
-
Hey had to come on here and give ND some props, I didn't make the game (2nd game I ever missed, in the hospital) Listened to it on the 105.1 and sounded like they just dominated SM. Great win ND!
-
Think this will be a good game, taking my boys by 14.
-
Classy ND!!!!

I would rather have Grundy fans eat at my dinner table then any (Wannabe Baylor) Signal fans. Typical Signal will try to hang 100 to build stats.
First: why are we wanna be Baylor fans? If we wanted our kids at Baylor they would be there.
Second: Who wants to eat at your dinner table?
Third: if CBP wanted to pad stats he has had plenty of chances this year to do that.
I think its great how he has put the freshman kids in for expeirence. It'll pay off at a later date.
Haters always gonna hate!
GO EAGLES!!!!!

Not a fan of Price..but Eagles will probably win this one.
We kind of like Bill, he wins and the bottom line is WINS. Right?
-
Well it's football time in the Nooga again, and my Eagles are looking pretty dang good. Should be a slobber knocker again, the Canes better have gotten in shape and hit the iron over the off season. We know our boys are in shape and strong as ever! Good luck to both teams!!!
-
How many folks live in your "assigned area" red?
All are in or you get to vacate some wins. LOL. http://www.hsfdatabase.com/tn_signalmountain2009.htm
2011 was lookin good for a while. (well except for the beatdown we took at Blackman) Itavious Mathers ran for what seemed like 1000 yards.
-
I wouldn't care about the privates or open zone areas if kids could go to ANY school in Hamilton County. Just not a level playing field when you have to stick to an assigned area. 2011 we had to vacate 6 games b/c a kid wasn't in our area. If we could recruit kids from anywhere in the county I would not complain about anything..............well not as much as I do now.
Signal Mountain Names Ty Wise As Head Football Coach

Good coaches will bring kids, always has and always will. Especially one that has been at all levels of football, so excited for this program. Especially love his strength and conditioning background.
