  1. I would take a hard long look at Brian Rector. State Champion at 5A at Ravenwood, only Williamson County team to beat BA, college experience, turned Centennial around in first year. He is creative and hard nosed and as energetic as the come.

Spoken from a Ravenwood supporter. Guess I would want Rector to leave Centennial if I were you too. Why are you not offering up your current coach?

  2. So basically CHSTeamPlayer is saying...

FHS is has a bad student population

CHS has a bad student population because it had people originally zoned for FHS

FHS has a good football program because they steal players from CHS

CHS ONLY has a bad football program (compared to FHS) because they're good players are stolen

Coach Clayton is a horrible coach who deserves no respect because of unproven accusations (except for as far as I know, starting Y Woods)

Everyone who supports FHS is idiotic and ignorant

    seems legit to me

Wow, go overboard much? Talking in absolutes like this is very immature and illogical. Very typical Franklin response. You went down the slip and slide too, sounds like. How's the staph infection clearing up for you?

  3. Another Thank you to a FHS fan. I am tired of all the lies. I have to say that I thought rebel was all for us until he changed his tune lately.

Rebel is one of you and witnessing the lack of integrity first hand. Isn't it sad that you turn on one of your own when they start revealing the truth too?

  4. Thank you someone else for saying the truth. Not sure why someone from Centennial is so concerned with telling lies about Franklin and Coach Clayton. I guess they hate losing to him and his program.

Just because you want it to be the truth certainly doesnt make it the truth. And it was another poster from another school that brought it up, not a Centennial poster. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

I'm not concerned at all, I just find it funny and rather sad that you all are so blinded by loyality to the school that you look the other way on some huge integrity issues that the leader of your football program has exhibited for years.

Integrity is an issue far outside of wins and losses, and in the case of Franklin, the lack of integrity has led to a lot of wins.

  5. Yameek Woods moved, but he was not "recruited". You are accusing Franklin of recruiting players, so answer the question!

I want names, not just vague allusions to a "few players". And if it has stopped then why are you complaining?

If we wanted to recruit, TJ Leach, Zach Patton, and Darius Steele would have been at Franklin. Because we could have asked them if they wanted to win or lose...

Yameek did "move" in with a family member that he didnt have any real need to move to other than he wasnt going to get to play at Centennial because Centennial has a coach that has integrity.

I'll work on the names. Are you really sure you want to go there?

Funny how you now say "we" Franklin. At the beginning of the season, you were using "we" Centennial to bash Rector.

  6. Wouldn't also be a fact that TECHNICALLY CHS has never won a game in any sport without Franklin zoned players since Centennial was created from Franklin High School?

Also why don't you hate Ravenwood more since Last year when the county tried to rezone some of those students to Centennial to relieve overcrowdedness at RHS. Those parents flooded the Central Office with protests and complaints to the point they had a community meeting. Those parents had so much power the system didn't make them go. To me that is bogus and something to be mad about.

Thirdly, isn't CHS opened zoned. Therefore they get kids from possibly several schools. PHS, FHS, and RHS i would think have lost some students to CHS. I believe the QB was zoned for PHS or RHS cant remember. So doesn't that put CHS in the same boat with Franklin.

Forthly I dont believe your accusation of Clayton taking money from boosters. WCS has made it very clear that is unacceptable and is a fire-able offense. Williamson County does NOT allow any coach to take even a dollar from the boosters. Not even a gift card. Just cause you dislike a guy you shouldn't try to get the man fired. I don't know him but I do know that is wrong on your behalf.

Um...what school of logic did you go to? What a stupid response, all 1 - 4.

  7. You wasted all of your time writing that huge response. Poor guy. I feel sorry for you. All these years being district doormats must really have hurt your pride.

So very sensitive...did you go down that slip and slide?

  8. All I'm seeing here is a bunch of excuses and sour grapes. Comical the hatred you have for Franklin Football. I call it jealousy. This is a FOOTBALL board. Bring facts, not personal opinion. And facts are that centennial has beaten Franklin ever. That's a fact.

And its a fact that Franklin has never beaten Centennial without Centennial zoned players on the field for Franklin.

  9. All I'm seeing here is a bunch of excuses and sour grapes. Comical the hatred you have for Franklin Football. I call it jealousy. This is a FOOTBALL board. Bring facts, not personal opinion. And facts are that centennial has beaten Franklin ever. That's a fact.

everything in my previous thread is a fact.

Just like the slip and slide incident at your dysfunctional school is a fact. Just like the money your coach took from boosters is a fact. Did he share any with you coach, or did he keep it all to himself? We both know the answer.

Keep on denying. You are so Franklin if...you deny reality and facts even when they have been exposed for all to see.

Here's how Franklin spins the truth; "We are proud our students were creative enough to invent a new game that requires such fortitude to endure. We are currently installing a new slide in the back of our property to give them a safe place to enjoy their new game. We are also excited that we exist in a community that allows us to have such a well paid coach. He has worked hard to bring FHS talent from all over the Franklin area and in our opinion has brought much respect to our beloved school. At the conclusion of the press conference, we will be serving cool aide. We have many flavors available and hope that you are able to stay and partake as we regale you with more stories of our silver trophy winning season and stake our claim at being the most feared, respected, and premier football program in Williamson County as we make preparations for another championship season."

  10. Man, you couldn't be any further off-base... And, from the look of Centennial's front 7 y'all didn't spend much time in the weight room either.

You are correct, before Rector, they didnt spend much time in the weight room. And "your" (yeah, right :thumb: ) team Franklin could only score one offensive TD with their d1 qb against a defensive line that was so small. Pretty sad, actually.

  11. I've been following Franklin Rebel football since 2008, and these allegations of recruiting CHS' players are bogus. Who have we recruited? Who is zoned for CHS and wears maroon on Friday nights? Just please give me some name.

    Y. Woods football this year. Supposedly "moved" but he only "moved" because Rector wasnt going to let him play at CHS because of a summer mistake the kid made that didnt reflect wll on the program. The sad thing is that Clayton knew about it and still started the kid. Opened himself up to show even more lack of chracter as a coach.

There were a couple last year, skill position players. Heck, I remember a newspaper article from about 5 years ago where your coach joked about beating Centennial with their own players. Denying Centennial players at FHS is stupid. It has happened repeatedly, for years.

Your starting senior guard last year for basketball, cant remember his name, as well as the 6th man, both Centennial zoned.

I think it has pretty much been stopped, but it has been a huge problem for years. But denying it happened is flat out dumb.

  12. Look here young man if I am a "typical Franklin insider" then I am proud to be one! There are no walls falling down and what "truth" do you speak of? There is no "truth". The truth is Franklin High is a proud institution and we have a proud football program. Since you like to speak then what is the "truth about our coach and our program"? All you will say is we need life jackets and that the walls are falling but I drive by the school everyday and it is still standing. Go to another thread, get off our school, get off our program and get off our coach. We will all be standing together next year in August.

Young man...hah...even more proof of how misinformed you are. Franklin was once an intituition to be proud of and with a respected program. As you are driving by Franklin head to another school and walk in and ask them what they think of Franklin, both as a school and as a program. You wont like what you hear.

Keep drinking the Franklin Cool Aid...what flavor is that? It must have arsenic in it, because you are blind.

  13. As a Franklin fan, and as some on here would call a booster, I wanted to come on here and say a few things. First of all, I want to congratulate the boys on another fine season. Secondly, I want to congratulate Coach Clayton and his assistant coaches as once again they went out and worked hard and had a great season. Now lastly to you few haters on this forum GIVE IT UP. These are still kids that you are talking about. They are not adults so why would you ever consider talking so badly about them. Also, I am not the most religious man, but I believe it states some where to treat your neighbor as you would want them to treat yourself. Hmm?

Now let's all look at a few things. 65-22-1 Do you know what that is? That is the record of Franklin High School since Coach Clayton took the helm. Not too bad. I know one thing for sure I have sat in Howard Gamble Stadium and watched many more wins than losses. We all need to grow up and quit making up rumors and in some cases lies about the school, the coach, or the booster club. The booster club is full of hard working parents that want a good thing for the young men of Franklin High.

Lets all move past this and let Coach Clayton, his staff, and the boys on the football team to get ready for another successful season next year. History already shows that they will be successful.

Another typical Franklin insider... "stop talking about us."

The walls are falling down and the truth is coming out and you dont like it. Everyone outside of Franklin knows the truth about your coach and your program. You can deny it all you want, but there is no much respect out there for FHS football and the entire school's reputation is following suit.

  14. I don't recall any Franklin supporter predicting a state championship this year. But like I stated earlier, you have no rationale in anything you have stated. Your hate for Franklin has blinded you, but like I said, it's the offseason, everyone can talk a good game because you have a long time until you actually have to back it up. Because as you centennial folks know that when it comes time to back up your talk, that never happens.

What statements do I have no rationale for?

I have no hate for Franklin. I do not have any respect for them. Franklin lives up to its racist mascot reputation. Everyone outside of FHS sees it. Everyone inside FHS denys it.

Your fans stormed the field to cross it and taunt, cuss, and insult CHS fans. There is no excuse for that. But you keep right on being typical Franklin homers and deny it and try to make excuses for it.

ps...glad you got a new name to post with coach. You can say things with this new screen name that you wouldnt say with the other one because we know who you are under that name. Let the denials continue...

  15. And maybe if you beat any team in Williamson County, your fan base would get excited. But you brag about blowing out bad teams and about being the best 5a team in a district with only centennial and Hillsboro. Maybe you should hang a banner for that lol.

You are both sensitive and misinformed, arent you? Centennial beat Ravenwood this year. Beat Indy last year. And the fan base is excited. Where are any brags in anything I have said? Your sensitive side makes you think they are brags, but they are only simple statements of fact.

  16. I guarantee you that IF, and I mean IF centennial ever beats Franklin the centennial folks would be 100x worse. I can see them tearing down goal posts, putting up banners, handing out we beat Franklin rings, hats, and t-shirts. And when Franklin beats centennial as we always do, we just walk off the field and go home, because it's expected. Go ahead CHS player and say the same stuff you have been saying over and over in all your posts. Reading your posts is like watching old tv reruns, you know exactly what the person is gonna say.

You mean your fans running across the field, cursing and flipping off the visiting Centennial fans, cheerleaders, and players this year is just walking off and going home? Errr...right.

Worst fan behavior I have EVER witnessed at any football game at any level. Period. You may now whistle the Andy Griffith Show tune. Some reruns are classics and will run for decades to come, just like the classless behavior of Franklin.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to bring that back up. I knew you eventually would. Franklin coachs are predictable...recruit, brag, teach kids to play dirty and cheap shot, gloat, predict state championships, lose in the playoffs, brag about silver balls....rinse...repeat...

  17. CHSTeamPlayer, I just started your own topic to vent.

Ummm, your tirades against Rector motivated by your son's football experience with Rector was venting. You must think this message board is a therapy site. Most of us dont feel that way. Its an opinion site, not free mental health therapy.

  18. Here, "CHSTeamPlayer" I even made the thread for you specifically. You and all of Centennial Hopeful can converse about playing Franklin & Brentwood next year.

Perhaps if you had made junior work out in the weight room specifically, he would have played a little his senior year.

  19. Thank you King, I'm tired of CHSTeamPlayer's crap all day long..

and can't wait for him to reply to this and call me a dumb uneducated Franklin idiot even though I'm zoned for indy but am in Franklin (and would rather go to franklin) because of the IB Program.

So you are a child, blinded by immature allegiance to a troubled school that either your lack of wisdom and experience does not allow to you to see or your childish pride does not allow you to admit? Either way, you are on the Franklin bandwagon and look to have already joined in the denial philosophy that is the mantra of the school. You have learned well, young one.

I can't find a "crap" emoticon...this is the perfect place to put one...

  20. Centennial has zero chance to compete with the big boys. Franklin also played Hendersonville, which was a 5a semifinalist this year., Smyrna 2x, both double ot games. Centennials marquee win this year was???crickets chirping

A lopsided win in round one of the playoffs.
