You idiot. You are a Centennial parent that has been bashing Rector all season long because your kid didnt get to play. There were no under utilized seniors and no "wow" factor in any of them that are leaving. One had some potential, but no heart, and thats it. The rest were only very average at best. The juniors carried the team and everyone, including you, know it. Get real. And since you "may not know much" at least go on to admit you are a hacked off parent with an ax to grind with Rector about your skinny little senior. You will deny it and say I dont know what I am talking about, but after you log off you will wonder how in the world does he know that? And we are in agreement, Centennial does need to walk the walk, and they will. But no, I'm not going to shut down the talk because of your whining about it. Dont like it? Dont click it and read it.

It does suck. That is why Centennial is working so hard to change it. They have done a good job of at least slowing the recruiting of Centennial zoned kids to Franklin, they've brought in a top notch coach that regularly beat Clayton and Crawford, and that have a good looking future. You must be getting worried to take even a moment of time to respond to anything said by any of the Centennial posters. Centennial is the perennial losers so why bother, right? LOL. I know, you are all sick of hearing it from Centennial...but we all know there is a difference, and you guys dont know what to do about it are really are starting to worry. Not sure why you think anyone has any pride in something that means nothing. But it was Franklin that was over hyping a supposed D1 QB that has "nothing" in the the way of any offers on the table. And you had your FHS players turning in their equipment the same time Centennial was. Although it means nothing, at least Centennial can say they were the #1 5A school in district 11. What can FHS can say? That you were overhyped and had a qb with potential but underachieved production?

The statement was from a non williamson county person and that they felt Centennial had the most impressive season based on where they had been the season before and where they ended the season this year. And to your impotent frustration, a lot of people agreed with that statement. Like I said before, you are no more than a blowhard. At least try to get the facts straight.

CHS has beaten Indy, several times. What does the opinion of a Indy poster matter in a Franklin/CHS issue? I'll say it again; Franklin has never beaten Centennial without Centennial zoned players starting for Franklin. That leaves us in the conversation. I'm not sure why Franklin needs a Indy blowhard making any comments on their behalf. I'm sure they feel the same way.

Isnt that the truth. This stuff is what happens when someone tries to compliment Centennial. But its all good. The negative talk comes from those who see good things happening at Centennial and don't know what to do about it. The district comes down to Brentwood and Centennial next year.

Thanks for the compliment. Under new leadership, the program is headed in the right direction. And now the door is open for Franklin to remind us that we have never beaten them. Bet that comes soon. I think it is important to point out that Franklin has never beaten Centennial without Centennial zoned players starting for Franklin... I do believe that Brentwood has beaten Centennial without Centennial zoned players, but I am not positive about that one. At least Brentwood usually shows a higher level of class and less bravado in all their wins over Centennial. And congrats to Brentwood on a good run at the end of the season.

You may be right. I heard Willie D was offering Rector big money and bonuses to instill some discipline and integrity at Franklin.

I'm sure he is. But the difference is that Centennial out performed expectations and has a bright looking future while Franklin under performed for their expectations and has a weak crop of juniors moving up. As far as Clayton, I actually hope he stays at Franklin.

Not having seen Powell play, I can't say much on this and won't. Having seen LC, there were some athletes that we had no answer for. Very tough to tackle. Love the hard nosed football and it was good for us to see that level of football. There were some holes in their defense that we failed to exploit and I am not really sure why. LC is very good. Their record is not an indication of how good they are. Good luck to both teams, but I do hope LC wins and goes on to win it all.

Reading comprehension is an issue for so many these days. You might try re-reading what I posted and what you responded with. Did you get what I was saying? Nope Great season to build from Centennial. It was something special, especially when the previous two seasons were 1-9 and 2-8. Rest a few days and get started on next season.

Where did I say the second round was the furthest they have ever been? Getting a 2-8 team from horrible to the playoffs is a feat. Period.

This person has been a pseudo fan since joining a week ago. Don't pay them any attention. Rector took an awful 2-8 team and in less than a year got them to round two of the playoffs, as far as the school has ever been. Anyone that knows anything about football or Centennial knows this is a huge feat. Rector is a great coach. Don't let an on board terrorist raise any ire, lol. Great job, Coach Rector. Great season. It's the start of much bigger things. Armchair idiots that quote and use the Tennessean as their source of argument don't have much to offer in the way of intelligent conversation.
