dont you have a class to teach coach? geography right?
LOL Geography hasn't been taught in TN schools in at least six years. I'm not a coach, but nice try.

he also didnt dispute a thing i wrote. its easy to armchair QB this team because they do so much wrong. i dont live in chapel hill either.
You're a real tough guy talking ish about high school kids.........they laid down? You're pathetic. And there's nothing to dispute. I learned a long time ago that you can't argue with an idiot, which you clearly are. I tell ya what, go to today's practice and introduce yourself to the Forrest coaches. Let them know that you know way more about their team then they do. Do you not want them to succeed? I'm sure they'd love the help of the resident football guru. What ya scared of? Do it. Won't hurt to try.
But of course you won't, because you're a typical cowardly internet troll/tough guy!!!!!! AKA a clown.

last two games have been Forrest's best since the 2019 run. the talent difference next week plus the efficiency, eli still staggers around on the sidelines and plays barely get in on time, he keeps asking the QB to make throws he cant make, esp on 3rd and long which they shouldn't be in to begin with. also the o line, who has been coaching them to hold continuously the last 1o seasons. can we get someone diff please. all of these things lead me to my prediction
Those coaches you often speak so fondly about, know more about football than you ever will. Coaching them to hold for 10 years? You're an embarrassment to the Chapel Hill community. Get a life.

As usual, Collinwood's coach is being forced out to make room for an alum. Not certain which one that is yet. Wouldn't be surprised if Statom is getting a coach fired for the third time and preparing for his third stint as head coach.

I agree, on paper it shouldn't be close, but won't be surprised if it is. Coach Rice has a pretty good record against Cville
You can't compare this Cornersville team to any Cornersville team of the past. Heck, every coach has a good record against Cornersville prior to 2017.

No sir, I am not basing anything off of last year. I am strictly basing my OPINION on hours and hours of film study of both Cornersville and Huntingdon. I believe Cornersville is a great team I just think Huntingdon is a little better this year. That being said I thought, and still think that Huntingdon was better last year and you beat them. So what do I know? Absolutly nothing! I am Just a fat guy sitting behind a computer screen typing a bunch of crap on a High School Football message board.
I've watched both play this year and last. Huntingdon, not as good as last year. Cornersville, quite a bit better than last year. Just a little FYI.

I love our boys playing the underdog
Cornersville still plays like they're the underdog every single week. Decades of futility tend to do that to ya. Question, how did Mt. Pleasant beat y'all so bad? I've watched them three times this year (including tonight), and they're frankly not very good.

Not that I'm aware of. Cville is defiantly having a season for the record books but don't sleep on WC, the boys are playing better each week and the defense is defiantly getting better. I for one have been hoping for this game, I can't wait. Much respect for Cville and their fans! As for the trick plays someone mentioned, won't happen, coach Rice will line the boys up and run right at the Dawgs
Number one: "Hoping for this game" is like saying "We Want Bama"......no you don't. Number two: "We'll line the boys up and run right at the Dawgs".......no you won't. (Ask Mt. Pleasant how that worked out for them) Number three: Do y'all have some good game film on Huntington?

Shelbyville threw for a ton of yards in the loss to Tullahoma. Marshall's secondary is far from good. Could get interesting.

You mean 5th choice sir. Beaubian was called after Hatley. Beaubian was already the HC at Kenwood by that time. For the record I do not know if he did any laughing or not.
For the record, Mintz was ahead of both Jakobik and Beaubian for the Marshall Co. job last year. He was número uno out of 20+ applicants, which included a Mississippi state champion and former college head coach. Just throwing that out there.

So instead of a long term coach we instead have a guy who is going to double dip and just wants to use our school to get his foot in the door in the state of TN? What happens when a Williamson or Rutherford job comes open in the future? Does he apply there and say so long to Cheatham County? Also where is the consistency? Initially we hire Jakobik who is a young guy with no experience as a head coach who we want to be here for years to come. Now we hire an older gentleman who is on the back end of his career who has plenty of experience and is looking to double dip? I'm sure he is a good coach and a nice guy but I am just not seeing it. I wonder what Curtis offered him assistant wise. If it's more than 2 then I would hope the people at Harpeth and Sycamore go nuts about it because what's right for one should be the case for all. There is no way that this guy has come to our county on his own and would not ask for help. I know Spangler did so in the 50s and 60s but the game has somewhat changed since those days.
For what it's worth, Mintz is an impressive guy with an impressive résumé. Jacobik also applied for the Marshall job last summer. I think it's a great hire for Cheatham Co.

Also, he was offered the Marshall Co. job last year, but turned it down because of low pay. I guess the Cubs stepped up to the plate.
-
Yes, he's retired in Bama, and has a son enrolled at Vanderbilt.

Really? I don't recall ever discussing food with you boys. And I'm sure Ensworth is shaking......CPA too. 😳

Dust, I don't know the man personally, so I don't really have an opinion on him or Giles Co. He seems to have done well everywhere he's been and I'm sure it will be no different there.

Glad you're interested in me Sawdust!!! Flattered!!!

19? Ever since I can remember mTp has lined there sideline, line to line. I guess this coach isn't as motivating as Walt was. Wouldn't everyone like backs like that? they don't come around often, especially in small schools.
Motivating? I'd say the word you're looking for is tolerable. Probably just not tolerating the trash.

Where would you expect him to have been LeaRoy? Giving his age. So in your opinion all it takes is athletes huh? MP is 0 & 10 the year before and Coach Smith takes them to the playoffs his first year there. Never seen a thoroughbred win a race without a jockey. Have you?
Also, it obviously takes more than athletes, but you show me a top caliber high school program in this state and I'll show you a team full of athletes. So it certainly doesn't hurt.

Of course that's not what I'm saying, but I am implying that if you go 0-10 at Mt. Pleasant then you're obviously in the wrong profession. And I didn't "expect" him to be anywhere before Mt. Pleasant, I just simply didn't know. That's why I asked the question. Apparently you don't know either.
-
Where was he before Mt. Pleasant? I ask, because it doesn't take a genius to know that Mt. Pleasant should ALWAYS have success with the caliber of athletes they have on the 2A level. Not saying he can't coach, just saying success there should be had by anyone with a pulse.

Walt Smith......he'll fit right in at Giles. ðŸ˜

You literally said, "the kids laid down," you can pull up all the past BS you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you are a clown that knows very little about football. The entire community laughs at you. People are always making jokes about your asinine posts. Just get a life, that's all I ask. Your constant diarrhea of the mouth is sad. We all feel sorry for you, and this pathetic life that you're living. Get help.
