You are Required to Qualify for Fargo through your State Tournaments.  You can also Utilize your Region Tournaments and this Year they are Wanting All Wrestlers to compete in the Regions that Wrestlers are assigned to., So Tennessee Wrestlers are to Use the South Eastern Region in Jacksonville, Fl.

So you do not have to wrestle in the Regional? Just want to be sure I understand correctly. I appreciate the reply & info!

  2. Anyone know what is needed to qualify this year? Do you have to wrestle at the TN USAW state tournament and place or only place at a Regional qualifying tournament? Also, I have heard discussion of having to compete in the SE Regional vs any Regional tournament, anyone know if this happens to be true? Thanks for any and all help!

  3. Good evening all, My name is Randall Jennings and I am the Head Coach at Coffee County High School in Manchester, TN. I am working to finalize our schedule for next season and am needing a few teams for some home dates. Below are the dates I have open and the teams I currently have coming in those dates. We do have a few girls as well and would love to get them some matches if possible. Please reach out at the email below if you might be interested. Also, we are looking to add another tournament in December any weekend other than the 4th if you happen to know of or have one with an opening. Please reach out at jenningsr@k12coffee.net Thanks all and good luck!

Working from memory but I think most of those dates are good with two exceptions.  The state tournament could change and Bluff City Brawl is March 27th (Sat) not the 24th.

The date for the state is current being evaluated by the board as it now conflicts with when Prep Nationals are scheduled.

I believe the TWF schedule should be formally posted by the start of the TSSAA state tournament.

Got it and thank you very much sir! I'll keep an eye out for that.

  5. Does anyone happen to know if the dates for tournaments are correct on the TN USA Wrestling site? I just wanted to double check before sharing that info with my club. They have the following listed:

    Bluff City Brawl March 24th

    Ironman April 17th

    Keller Classic April 24th

    TNUSAW State May 1

    Thanks in advance!

  6. I'm headed down to Emmanuel College this weekend for the Georgia Open to support one of my former wrestlers, Rey Reyes (Ouachita), and wanted to keep an eye out for any other former TN wrestlers that will be competing. I know Nolan Cook (former Oakland 182) will be competing for Truett McConell and MTSU will be bringing their squad down as well. If you happen to know of any others, please comment and let me know! Would love to follow a few TN guys while there!

  7. Good morning all, I'm looking to add some more mats to my garage space (20x20). I would like to find 1 section of an old resilte mat to cut to fit ideally, but am interested in any kind of mats. Thanks for any help in advance!

MTSU Wrestling Club is looking into hosting a preseason tournament/Super 32 warm up here in Murfreesboro for all ages. Wrestlers will be divided up by weight classes, age, and experience as much as possible so the more participants the better we can divide everyone up. Not sure the details yet but I am looking at September 28th or October 5th as the date(any thoughts?). When I figure out all the information I will get it uploaded on trackwrestling and then will post the information and link here.

    Thank you,

    Coach Freeman

We would definitely have some kids compete if so!
