  1. wrong wrong wrong--baylor beat christian bros in state duals finals last yr and holloway won his match vs grey... yes i know holloway beat connell from mccallie in d2 individuals last yr.. but this is team duals we are speaking of this week not individuals

  2. the hill will have to have alot of breaks to upset cleveland--heres how it would have to go

106--cle-d--3-0 hudgins wrestled 113 last time and didnt get pinned

113--cle-p--9-0 weak spot based on the records

    120--cle-m--13-0 possibe pin for cle

126--sh--p--13-6 not likely but could happen

132--sh--d--13-9 upset but 5-4 match possible

138--cle--d--16-9 another match could go either way

    145--sh--p--16-15 goldstein very tough

152--cle--d--19-15 could be major or pin

160--sh--p--19-21 hill needs a pin here

    170--cle--d--22-21 close match last time

182--cle--p--28-21 could be close for a bit

195--sh--p--28-27--hill dominated this match last time

220--sh--p--28-33--watched hayes before he need a pin early or he will get decisioned

    285--cle--p--34--33--easy win for the victory

hill would have to have another pin or upset at 138 to pull out a victory--most likely score probally 42-24

  3. I agree independence is tough each season but i do believe ravenwood and science hill have finished higher the last two years at the state duals. Thats why i believe at least those two teams sure be higher than indepence. Just a thought as we know the tournaments will work everything out very soon and maybe independence will really be as good as ranked..

  4. What are the top 10 schools for team duals

    1.CLEVELAND

    2.SODDY

    3.CHRI BROS

    4. BAYLOR

    5. BRADLEY

    6. SCIENCE HILL

    7. FATHER RYAN

    8. RAVENWOOD

    9. MCCALLIE

    10. CLARKSVILLE

JUST A GUESS HOW THEY WOULD FINISH IN A BIG DUALS TOURNAMENT!

  5. my picks for finals---

    hudgins upset over boatman

    armstrong at 112

    cole--shill 119

    hall over science hill

    knowles 130

    tapia for sure 135

    williams at 140

145 for sure ruggie from greenville

    snyder a lock at 152

    johnson close decision--very close

    stull automatic at 171

    vaughn at 189 close decision

    carlson upset 215

    hayworth automatic hweight

  6. Soddy won't forfeit at 103 today and i don't think Science Hill will come within 20 points. They might take an early lead but after 130 they should come close to sweeping them. An upset might come from Mt. Juliet over Blackman if they wrestle tough.

YEAH I'M SURE YOURE RIGHT, SODDY MAY HAVE FORFEITED THE LAST 3 TO 4 MATCHES THE FIRST TIME THEY MET MAKING IT APPEAR TO BE CLOSER THAN IT WAS

  7. JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT--SCIENCE HILL WRESTLED SODDY EARLIER IN THE YEAR IN A CLOSE MATCH ONLY TO LOOSE 40 TO 30. BUT WITH SD HAVING TO FORFEIT AT 103 THAT WOULD HAVE MADE A 12 PT SWING IN THE FIRST DUAL WITH SCIENCE HILL WINNING 36 TO 34.. SO IT IS POSSIBLE WITH SODDY HAVING TO FORFEIT 103 THIS TIME AROUND THAT SCIENCE HILL PULLS OFF THE FIRST MAJOR UPSET OF THE STATE TOURNAMENT.

  8. hudgins vs escue--- sh6

    sutherland vs myers--sh3

    schurlknight vs sommers--sh6

    schurlknight vs mccreery--sh6

    knowles vs feuerbacher--bl +3

    tapia vs brown--sh 6

    vaughn vs nell--vaughn ?

    riley vs patton--riley +3

    snyder vs sells--snyder +6

    fullbright vs rice--fullbright +6

    stull vs vaughn--stull +6

    vaughn vs well-- vaughn +3

    lyons vs rush-- rush +6

    brittain vs smith-- smith +6

final sh-51 to blackman 15 not counting vaughn vs nell match--

this will not be a close match

  9. Here's the breakdown

    Hudgins(32-14) Vs Escue(19-8) ?

    Sutherland(36-13) Myers(24-12) Sh+3

    #5 Schurlknight(35-6) W/L Sommers(35-8) ?

    Schurlknight(32-6) McCreery(20-22) Sh+6

    Knowles(34-7) #3 Feuerbacher(45-3) Bl+6

    W/L Tapia(31-10) Brown(25-19) Sh+6

    Vaughn(31-10) W/L Nell(37-7) Bl+3

    McKinney(28-14) Patton(30-9) Bl+3

    #6 Snyder(40-8) Sells(27-11) Sh+3

    Fullbright(32-11) Rice(27-13) ?

    #6 Stull(31-6) Vaughn(4-3) Sh+6

    W/L Vaughn(34-8) W/L Wells(24-9) Bl+3

    Lyons(34-9) W/L Rush(31-3) Bl+6

    Brittain(23-23) #3 Smith(41-3) Bl+6

That breakdown is SH+24 and Blackman at +27 with three matchs that could go either way.Should be very exciting and probably the best first round match up.
