  1. There is talent in Chattanooga but it is spread out. Too many High Schools not so much as Coaching although I think it could be better but like stated previously if there was open enrollment in Chatt u would defiantly see a difference.

  2. I just wanted to say I have been tuff on the Chattanooga Elite which I know you are associated with and let me say that being if I had a son that played he would play with the Elite way before I would let him be trained or play with the C.B.A.C. Chattanooga area Basketball Club they are awful trainers with no experience just a golden tongue and full of crap. He coach at Silverdale and did awful then moved out of town and did awful ,now he is back in Chattanooga using his mother money and trying to train when he has no proof he can train , but he can hang around Baylor and Mccallie and he can make some mom and dad happy by telling them crap about how great there kid is ,and make a few dollars  at least the Elite will cut you if you ain't were you need to be and if you don't say no to these kids they think there already in the NBA and won't work to get any better.  Now thats how you prepare little Billy for the real world. Good luck on ya AAU this year.

    Thank You!

  3. I have several friends that are refs. They have bad days. Family problems, work stress, sacrificing missing their own kids games to work other kids games, they don't do it for the money. The money is minimal. I hate when I'm sitting beside clowns and accuse refs of cheating. Most have kids and could care less who wins. Anyway I've never played in a high school or college game or watched one game that a ref caused me or a game I watched lose or win. Again, bad reffing is a reflection of bad play. Did you go to the Showcase at EH? Teams could play. The only crying I saw was from Tyner fans because they couldn't play with the other teams.

I did actually and I never said they caused the game to go either way but I do feel as if the referring in the area can be a bit more consistent. However I respect all those guys for what they do and I understand they miss calls but as a whole I jus feel it could have been better officiating last night. Tyner did compete with those teams u speak of they only had one bad loss that I recall.
  4. Rams played great in spurts good to see the young guys step up and play tuff. They needed this tourney to keep them battle tested in the middle of District season just makes them stronger. The sky is the limit for this group as long as they play together and keep up that intensity on the defensive end.

  5. AAU in this area is a joke!!!#buddybuddysystem #watereddown...

You can call it what u want but any man that gives his time to teach kids the game free of charge for three months takes expensive trips out of town away from his on family to help keep kids engaged in something positive is far from a joke!!! It's not just about your kid or the High School team your kid plays on, but being a positive leader for all kids bringing them from all areas of Chattanooga and surrounding areas to become one.

  6. As I read many of these post it seems as if the concern is who is D1 and who isn't. Fact is there are very few D1 players in the Chattanooga area but we have a lot of players that can obtain a scholarship on D2 NAIA JUCO levels. It also doesn't start in the high school as far as competition level goes. There are TOO many watered down middle school Coaches and programs in the area and that's where AAU becomes a major plus in building our high school programs. For 1 some middle school teams are done before Christmas and if they don't play AAU then they don't see the court til the following October. That is not enough time for development and that's the Major problem in the Chattanooga Area.

  7. The facts are we in Chattanooga do not have the respect of the Basketball Community, and teams has the Elites and daddy teams are the reason for this, People here are trying to make money of these parents to help with there income. These kids deserve more than that the teams such has Elite and others us this kids for personal reasons, I can tell you based on what I heard and seen the Elite ain't nothing but two bad AAU programs that merges together and taking Taxpayers money for the gang anishtive that some brilliant mayor we have sponsor. All I can say is being kicked out of Tournaments for coaches fighting not once but a few time is something I would not want my kids involved with. I think the city has pulled there sponsorship because of these issue. Now I will say the Elite can be great if they will stop hiring Buddys to Coach and get real people that has done something with there life instead of living off taxpayer. now thats a fact. Like it or not clean the Elite up or it will not be around for long and we do need it here. By the way the Elite does have a couple of great coaches in there staff.

Definatley opinionated and untrue! But as I stated before you are untitled to your opinion hate you feel that way but life goes on as long as these kids get an education and succeed in life that's the greatest gift they can give us no matter how far basketball takes them. A scholarship at any level is an accomplishment.

  8. Yep that 's why all the best players plays in Nashville or Atlanta, We have AAU teams here that are horrible, yes the Elite getting beat by 40,50 even 60 points. Ya are telling the kids what they want to hear to get them on the teams like you are D1, Ya and not just the Elite but other AAU team are to, just to get them to play.  Run for Chattanooga if you want your kid to get seen.

Sounds like you have a personal issue with the Chattanooga Elite Org. But you are titled to you own opinion, There are kids that went to these so call top teams in Atlanta or Nashville that have not developed as well I won't name any names but please talk facts not opinions if kids came to the Elite from other programs it because that's where they wanted to be!
